Hello, i was stupid in upgrading to 2.2 ..now there is no way to root..but let me ask if i can back to 2.1 android and then root it..with unrevoked?

regarding ur question,
downgrading from 2.2 to 2.1 and then rooting is possible for htc legend. it is not possible for wildfire. UNFORTUNATELY, wildfire with official 2.2 cannot be rooted for now. hope it will be rooted in the future

At current there are NO 100% stable 2.2 (froyo) ROM's avalible. (Apart from the shipped chinese ROM)

Hey, I have readed for solutions, and downgraded method that there is in this forum is valid for Desire no for Wildfire, my question is.... It will have solution for guys kile me with froyo 2.2 and get root for a new revolked or it will be imposible? Thanks for all, and happy new year

Can one root HTC Wildfire that has froyo on it?
I bought mine with 2.1 but when the update for 2.2 was out, i updated it.
I tried doin the unrevoked root but obviously it didn't work.

Rather than making a thread, if you had just read around this forum a bit (Properly, I dont know how you looked and didnt find the answer), you would have come to know that 2.2.1 OTA is NOT rootable by any software method.
The only way to root is to get it S-OFF using an XTC Clip, Downgrading and then rooting (Else directly installing Clockworkmod on S-OFF'ed bootloader)
Sorry to disappoint you, but, you should have waited a bit instead of acting trigger happy when you received the OTA, if you had any intentions of rooting.
