Is there any way to updatinng radio and spl from recovery?
Because i don't understand to do it from fastboot
I'm using hboot : 1.33.2005 and radio : 2.22.19.26I

What's the problem in typing
Code:
fastboot flash radio <radio.img>
where <radio.img> is the name of the radio image you want to flash? It's *much* more safe than flashing by recovery.
The only thing to consider: put <radio.img> into the same directory where fastboot is located and start fastboot from that directory, it will ease your life.
There's no problem in there I think but the problem is I can't set up my android sdk in my pc. The pc didn't recognize my phone so I can't go to fastboot
Sorry if my english bad

Find the drivers for your phone and u will be set. It should see it. They should install when u plug your phone into the PC. Make sure u are in the right directory when u type fastboot devices

For Windows there is the usb removal tool. Google search it. I don't have that at the moment. It will take care of your problem for the usb driver.

i already re-install my phone on my pc but it still doesn't work
it only read my phone as a 'memory card'
not an 'android phone'
what should i do?
I ran into a very similar thing two weeks ago. I had previously installed the android USB driver for my Nexus One. Now, when connecting the G1, it was only recognized as USB Mass Storage. After a few reboots and failed reinstallations of the driver, when I had already given up, it suddenly started to work and I was asked for the driver, gave it the correct path and it works just fine since...
Yees
I already tried it so many time too. Even when i'm using htc sync to make it recognized my phone sadly hc sync can read my phone. Eventhough i already reboot my phone many time and i restarting my pc but it still won't work
I'm sorry if my english bad

use camera+power when you turn on your G1, then connect it to your PC. See if it reconize it as Android phone.

You say I have to put what I want to flash to the same folder as fastboot
So if I want to flash radio, SPL and recovery I have to put them in the 'tools' folder right?

Just to let u know I don't think I get a notification on my PC when I'm on fastboot mode and plug it in. Just a sound I believe. Just make sure when you plug up and open the cmd prompt u change directories to tools dir before typing fastboot devices and u should get a serial number. Then u are ready to go. If u can boot into recovery u should make a backup first. Put the rom u want to flash on your sdcard too along with the kernel and anything else to make it easier. All after partitioning your card for apps2ext if you plan to use it.

Once you have sdk installed, if you're having trouble connecting your phone to your computer, get "adb wireless" from the market and you can connect that way leaving no need for the usb cable. All you need is your phones wi-fi turned on and a know how of adb.

I am having same problem, so I can relate, but not unhappy with stock. I also can not find anything wrong even on device manager everything looks like out ought to work.
I tried adb fastboot devices and my phone is supposed to show up, but didn't. You might try yours as well, probably get same result.
Makes me think still a problem with the driver.

It is a Command Line Interface application that comes packaged with the Android SDK, just like fastboot. ADB is used to interface with your device while it is booted normally, and fastboot interfaces with your device at the bootloader level.
With your phone booted up into Android, plug in USB and do "fastboot devices". What happens?
But before you do that, let me ask: are you sure when you were having trouble with fastboot that you had the phone in bootloader? You have to hold volume up + power until you see a screen that says FASTBOOT MODE at the top with a lot of other text. You can only use fastboot commands such as "fastboot oem unlock" when the phone is in bootloader.

Possible problem
So I checked on my device manager and the android device driver says; Android ADB Interface, rather than Android Bootloader Interface.
Anyone that can help me change it to the correct one as I can use ADB to get phone to bootloader but when I type bootloader devices my phone is not found.
Thanks in advance.
Figured it out (maybe lucky guess)
I moved a copy of bootloader from tools folder to platform tools then opened a terminal from that window and it worked.
Bootloader unlocked and on way to full root.
Hello everyone,
This is my first post and I'm already asking for help
I have had my rooted Click/Tattoo for about 15 mouths now, yesterday I updated my recovery and flashed the wrong one by accident (I flashed a Wildfire one not a Click one).
The phone boots into Android 1.6 but won't let me flash a new recovery either on the phone terminal with Super User or on my PC with adb. Also I can't flash using Fast boot as my phone has decided to turn Security back on.
I have no Idea what to do, as I have a basicily useless phone at the moment, please help

I was trying to wipe everything from Nexus 4 because i sold it and was going to ship the phone. I did this in the recovery mode (Team Win) and i had cyanogenmod installed.
It turns out i also wiped off any backups and also the OS on the phone. Now the phone has no operating system on it and only boots into recovery mode. I can't even transfer any backups to the phone because for some reason the phone isn't recognised as a storage device on my PC anymore.
What should i do?? I need to install any type of OS before i ship the phone

Done this 2 weeks ago dont freak out. If u are a twrp user u can sideload the from into the device using adb. Make sure u have all the adb drivers on ur pc. Put the rom file into the folder where the adb files are. Now go to ur recovery/twrp advanced then choose sideload. Plug the phone into ur pc. Now go back to the folder whre adb is. Hold shift , right click and choose start open command wndow here. Now the black cmd box will appear type "adb devices" dont include the quotemarks. It should show device with serial and would say sideload at the right. This means ur phone is connected properly, then type adb sideload (nameofrom).zip and it pushes the file into ur phone it will be named sideload.zip. now reboot phone to recovery and flash awayyy. Sorry for the messy instructions

Why not just flash it all through fastboot? I find that a lot better/easier than using twrp's adb push.

Fast boot requires installing android adb if I am not mistaken. It can get messy if OP doesn't already have it installed.
If you're gonna ship it and sell it. Use this software to restore stock software: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...olkit-wugs-nexus-root-toolkit-v1-8-0-t2015469

I just didn't have time to write a long post, explaining it to him + didn't he already solve his problem through adb?
The same problem happened to me but after thinking it through I found a solution. Just used wugs toolkit and flashed back to stock and selected the option soft-bricked. got me back to stock in no time. Just putting this out there if anyone else is reading this thread and dont/cant use adb.
Hey guys,
a few hours ago I tried flashing the new Ldroid Rom onto my Nexus 7. After flashing the rom my tablet took ages to boot up and after the bootup it said i had to enter a password to encrypt the data (i never set encryption). after entering a random password android reported that the password was right but the data corrupt and i'd have to do a factory reset. after entering twrp i realized that the device couldn't mount anything except system. i wiped/formated everything except system and tried booting into android. this time i was stuck at the google logo. after entering recovery mode again now twrp couldn't mount system and sdcard. so i formated both and now i'm here with an absolutely empty nexus 7. i tried to use adb sideload to flash a new rom but my pc doesn't recognize the device and neither does fastboot. i tried reinstalling adb and fastboot drivers, i used universal drivers, i used drivers from toolkits, i did many many pc and tablet restarts, i reinstalled android sdk several times, i used different adb/fastboot locations, i even tried using a different pc trying the same steps. no change, only thing i get is that the tablet gets recognized by the device manager as an adb/fastboot device, nothing more.
Does anyone of you know a possible sollution for my issue?
Thanks in advance
P.S.: i've been researching the internet for this issue for the past hours and couldn't find any sollutions, so please don't say stuff like "use search function"
P.P.S.: My other devices get recognized without any issues with the same cable.
