The only difference is the 1.5 version doesn't include Voice Input

Ahhh, but I love the voice input.
I've found signs of handwriting recognition in HTC Legend HTC_IME.apk.
(\res\drawable-mdpi\hwr_*, especially hwr_panel_high_bg.png)
How could I use it? Or is it available for Asian versions only?
Thanks.
I have just put a Gingerbread build on my HD2 (MDJ's CyanogenMod 7 v. 2.2 [A2SD+][GRH78][RMNET][Kernel: MDJ S10.2 OC]), I can't seem to find anyway of changing the Text Input from the full Qwerty Keyboard to the standard PhonePad input that was on Android 2.2. Does the PhonePad exist in GingerBread?
Any body help with this?

I need this too, especially the phone keypad
Really annoying as i've got big fingers using the default gingerbread one!
HTC ime can work on Defy and Galaxy S2 but can't seem to able to be activated after installation, being it the low res or high res version. any idea why? thanks!
Hi there,
First and foremost thanks in advance for any help rendered. I currently own a Samsung S3 (SC-06D) and just downloaded the Google Pinyin IME keyboard and noticed that some words don't seem to render correctly. For example the word βθΏβ is replaced by a rectangle. Any thoughts on how to get this fixed please?
