GPS and car navigation is the most important for me.
Can anyone test the GPS of arc? is it as good as IPhone 4 or HTC Desire HD?

There are several ROMs that use Sense 3.0 stuff.
Personally I wouldn't use ROMs like RC Kingdom 3D as it has things like the Sensation front facing camera button when that hardware isn't even on the DHD and also takes much larger photos, video and audio are rubbish on it and too many bugs.
The most stable ROM I have used is TB Fusion as its extremely close to perfection. Has all the Sense 3.0 components like Lock ring, weather etc but has stock DHD camera and runs extremely smooth.
Another good one is Honeysense which gives the Honey comb experience. They are my top two without question after trying most of the ROM's on here.

Anyone knows how to access to the field test page on this phone?
I really need to see the frequency and the channels if it's possible.

I recently upgraded from Xperia S to Xperia Z. Frankly I like everything about Xperia Z except the white theme of Phone & Messaging applications. I miss the black theme found in Xperia S. In fact this is the only thing I HATE about Xperia Z. Don't understand why Sony changed it? At least they should give an option to change the theme if the user want.
Apart from it I found Xperia Z to be better on every aspect except Wi-Fi signal which is better in Xperia S. Xperia Z drops Wifi signals frequently at places where Xperia S has no problem.
Please post your views whether you like Black or White theme for Phone and Messaging applications.
What firmware do you have? I'm experiencing Wi-fi signal drops when I'm far from the router, had no problem with an Galaxy S2
The idea is:
Productive apps -> White
Fun apps -> Black

I own an S and to be honest I prefer the look of the white apps on the Z, at least from what I've seen in screenshots. Not sure how they look in person though - white apps on a screen that isn't full brightness don't look as good in my opinion.

I'm using the ported ones on my S and they look awesome even on full brightness. But who uses it most of time anyway?

Hi I'm not sure if this is correct forum but is there anyway to get transparent dialler and contacts on the z, without root. I love the phone but preferred the look of x10i I think it was. Apologies if I'm in wrong place. Thanks in advance

White for me as well. Looks clean and modern. With Sony's holo-blue additions, it looks just great.

It's a matter of taste, but actually I like the black one too. The only solution without rooting is to search for a 3rd party app.

Hey Xda I work with cell phones and we recently got in the Xperia ZL. Its awesome for watching videos with because of the Bravia engine.
If I turn on my Nexus and lay it next to it my Nexus blows it away on the home screen, app drawer etc. (I have the Paranoid Android screen tweaks). As soon as I go into Youtube or a photo album though the Xperia suddenly destroys my Nexus.
I have concluded I would like to have the Bravia Engine 2 on my phone if possible. I understand that there is a topic on this board with 2 flashable zips but I don't know what to do with them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Now this is a very interesting OS for Arc S.
Installed it and it gave me 422mb of free RAM, very unique and beautiful was the UI and setup guide.
As mentioned the camera, bluetooth & FM were not working, but so was the back button. The reason I had to uninstall it was sheer lack of apps (understandably) and even when connected to wi-fi browser was not opening any pages.
But with such a refreshing look and feel would request developers to get it for Arc S as it is very refreshing.
i will macke FQA and i think there will be beter to discus about firefox os ;D
Back button is not supposed to work.
