Setup MMS in flashed SoftBank X01HT

Hello,
I bought and flashed to English (rom JASJAM_WWE_1.20.305.3_1.20.305.104_1.07.03.10_ship with Softbank Extended ROM) one X01HT. I'm getting crazy trying to make MMS work in my phone. Can anybody put one tutorial of how to do it?
Two more things:
-I have the "old" Vodafone Mail Flat Rate in my keitai, and it's quite important for me to keep it.
-If somebody have working the threaded MMS Palm app and can explain how to setup it, better.

Please!! Somebody could make work Palm SMS Threaded app in a X01HT? At least, let me know if it possible!!
I tryed this:
1. go to connection in control panel
2. add a new modem connection under "default company network setting" (not under "default internet setting")
3. name the new connection as you like, and choose 3g as connection type
4. set it up as follows
apn: mailwebservice.vodafone.ne.jp
user id: vodafonelive
passwd: q_c_e_f_f_k_n_a_r_l_u_r_q_g_b_l (without the _)
leave domain blank
5. OK to finish
6. go back to connection in control panel
7. change the name of this new company network as "VFJP Network"
Install Palm MMS Threaded (I don't know if it's beta4; can somebody send to me??) and setup like this:
Message center number: +819066519300
Email center number: empty
MMS gateway adress: vfkkmmsproxy.vodafone.ne.jp:8080
MMS URL: http://mms/
Network Profile: VFJP Network
Please, help me!!!

With old ROM(before Dec 2nd) of X01HT, no success was reported on 2ch(Japanese BBS), AFAIK.
With DoCoMo hTcZ ROM, some success was reported in Japan.
With newer ROM of X01HT, I and some poeple in Japan succeeded to install Palm SMS app.
Maybe, old ExtROM of Softbank prevented Palm SMS app to work correctly.
FYI:
I uninstalled Palm SMS. It's not good for me.
It doesn't disconnect after send & receive mail.
It doesn't inform me when mail receives.
When I open some mail, the app closes unexpectedly.
Now, I'm happy with Arcsoft MMS client & MMS Resender

This problems are with Beta 4 also? I think it inform when MMs arrives and also have an option for dissconnect after recieve the MMS. Are you sure?
Anyway, I couldn't setup Arcsoft MMS properly ... Now, I install last ROM aviable (from HTC), and tried ... no lucky. It has MMS client by default. Does this client have "Arcsoft MMS client & MMS Resender"? What is "MMS Resender"?

, I got post Dec2nd x01ht... Where did you found info no how to set up MMS? Even Japanese page should be helpful...

With Palm Messaging beta4, yes.
But, it wasn't correct. I'm sorry.
It doesn't disconnect after send & receive mail.
It shows pop-up message, but, no LED, no sound when mail receives.
When I open some mail, the app closes unexpectedly.
Does this client have "Arcsoft MMS client & MMS Resender"? What is "MMS Resender"?

MMS Resender is not a part of MMS client.

Arcsoft MMS client & MMS Resender works with me, too although it sometimes gets hung up on some emails and i prefer to use normal pop3 email.

Hello,
I install last ROM from HERMES (RUU_HERMES_HTC_WWE_1[1].35.255.2_1.35.255.102_1.08.00.10_SHIP) and didn't change Extended ROM to the SoftBank one, so I had the MMS Client installed by default.
I got the "Decode Error" almost everytime I receive a message that is not pure text, so I install MMS Resender ... but it didn't solve anything, I thing. Anytime I got the "Decode Error", nothing happens ... I don't know If I have to setup something or similar.
Help!! Is any way there to fix this? WHY I can't receive MMS messages with this mobile and Softbank?

Use iPhone SIM in HTC HD2

Hi, can't get SMS or MMS to work on my HTC HD2 using my 3G iPhone (contract) SIM. Can't really see where to update any settings.

WHAT COUNTRY YOU FROM? DOES IT SHOW YOUR OPERATOR NAME ON THE HOMESCREEN?

Hi,I'm in the uk. o2 is shown n the home screen and phone is working fine. tried the auto config but still can't send txt or mms. Not familiar with Windows mobile so not sure where any of the settings are to modify. Thanks

Cant send MMS after Rom upgrade !!

Good day all
when I was using old rom 1.48 (WWE) my hd2 was able to send and receive MMS but now after I had upgraded my device to the new rom 1.66 (WWE), I cant send any MMS.
when I send MMS, the device connects to the MMS server and its keep connected forever without sending the MMS
any idea guys about this problem ?

it could be rom problem but we need to confirm this..

only solution is to erase operator config reset

I already erased the operator setting and make them again manually and still it does not work

WIFI isn't on is it ??
I don't think it works properly over WIFI
I flashed my O2 version with the new rom... ran through the set-up and all seems to be working fine (once I realised setup was hidden behind sense!!!)

I had this problem too, I went to Wireless settings and Data Connection, selected UK and then my service provider and it set my MMS/mobile web up. I wasn't able to use mobile web either which explained why weather and other functions were not working.

no, the wifi is not turned on.
this problem is a little bit weird because it does not show any error messege when the mms is not sent, its just keep connected to the mms server without sending the mms it self.

problem solved.
what I had done is running the connection setup wizard again. the connection setup wizard updates all existing connections including mms connection after that I had tried to send mms and the mms was sent .

HTC HD2 MMS didnt work...

I was try couple cooked ROM and after accept automatic settings for home operater on the first start GPRS work without problem,
but MMS wont work
I have: "Downloading multimedia message..." for couple minutes
and then: "Unable to download message"
and same with sending MMS...
any solution for this issue?
just remove 0 from IP address in MMS settings and can use HTC messaging
for sample:
non working: 192.168.012.041
and 100% working: 192.168.12.41

ok i have the htc hd 2 from tmobile, and my friend he has iphone from at&t.. its odd really..i cant send mms to him but i can send it to his email that works perfectly fine..but not to his iphone..but when he is like close beside me, i am able to send it to him to his iphone.. i can receive his picture message right away even if he is far away or up close..so what do i do?~ im able to send mms to my other friend that has tmobile fine except my at&t friend..

i've noticed that as well. Maybe there is a picture size limit on the iphone???

I was getting close to throwing this POS in the bin when I read your post about removing the '0's out of the IP address - it works fine now!

I have an unlocked hd2 and using it on att and i can send pictures when on wm, but when i boot into android it just keeps saying sending. My apn settings are correct. Could somebody help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try putting 8080 for the port number in your apn settings.

a few members have said the data upload is simply too slow right now to send MMS. Confirm this by attempting to send a very small MMS(less than 15kb).

change your pic messahe setting to 100k it worked for me then i switched it back to 300k...there was a thread on this i believe

In the WinMo registry Ive changed mine to 1024 with my APN settings as they should be and still not able to send an MMS. I can receive though. Using shubCRAFT 1.3c with ChuckyROM 23132 radio 2.10.
