You will have to wait until the phone is rooted. It is currently not rootable.

Xperia Arc is not the same as Xperia Acro. 2 different phones, my friend.
Besides, if it would be for Xperia Arc, it would be damn old update, because our GB is already beginning with 4.0.2 and ICS with 4.1.B...
