I took a few videos on my mytouch 4g and when i played them it played pretty smooth. I noticed today when I was bored tat the videos that i took arent playing correctly.
The audio seems alright, but the video itself is bleh.
If you watch it from the beginning its just black, if you skip forward it shows the video as if it were paused while the audio is playing.
Its hard to explain, but does anyone know how to fix this? Does any one else have this problem? DO i have a broken sd card?
Got the same problem but it's with any video I try to play. Haven't found a fix for it yet though. My card is new so don't think its a sd issue

When I play a video recorded with the Vibrant it plays back with green and red interference like snow (white tv snow). I am not rooted. I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem/if there is a fix? If not I will be exchanging it after work today.
No problem here. Have you tried a different video

Yeah. It's only happening with videos I recorded from the Vibrant. The videos I have from my G1 don't do it and Avatar doesn't do it. I put a video up on youtube to show what it is I am talking about.

Anyone notice the crappy video recording on the evo with froyo? Must be the playback or encoding cause I took some recording today out side and play them back and it suck. Was little choppy on the play back and seem little to wavey. Not 720p quality for sure, is there a fix or a rom that has this fix.
It's fine when played back on the pc. I noticed the same thing on the phone

I'm using the latest nightly of CM6, and I find my Video recording improved. It doesn't seem really laggy like it did before, and the playback seemed better.

Multi-tasking?
no. even when i did before it didnt matter
has anyone else noticed choppy video playback? running stock rom btw. i have a few movies, all .avi format, and any videos i play on the phone, the audio is miles ahead on the video. my gf has the samsung galaxy 4g and those same files run flawlessly and beautifully on hers. Any ideas on fixing it?
Buy a galaxy 4g j/k I havent had that problem. Try killing task in background and use Cache Cleaner if you are rooted.
Anyone getting video playback issues on their 6p? YouTube plays at like 1-5 frames per second. I tried watching a movie with MX player and same thing. VLC player plays movies normally, but the audio is gone. Does anyone know what's causing this? It's driving me Absolutely crazy...

Same here since day 1
LMAO, I found out what was causing this. I had flashed lolliViper with the surround sound option. It's not designed for the 6 p at all. It did something's to the speakers which affected video playback. After I reflashed my rom, and used the general generic version of viper, no problems have ever occurred again.
