Please find the attached test version of leacked camera, gallery, deskclock and music player.
Install at your own risk, I have just shared so we all can get a feel what is in store...
Camera & Gallery didn't work for me
Music player works perfectly
and i didn't try desk clock
This isn't only for the Desire HD.
For me and my Desire, running Oxygen Gingerbread 2.0.3, only the music app and the camera app is working. Camera app only works with taking fotos, not with making videos.
I tried to remove the original deskclock app and replaced it with the leaked one, but it doesn't work. Get's a forceclose every time and so the new gallery app does.
Yea this have been leaked a few hours and every thread for most phones have it on now but some work and some doesn't be nice if someone could get them working for us

Hey everyone. I just got the HTC hd2 and my friend rooted it with Android for me and I'm satisfied. What bugs me though is that my album artwork isn't synced properly.
Say I have the "devil wears prada - zombie" album. Instead of the zombie album cover, I have a different the "devil wears prada" album cover, for example louder than thunder. Some songs have a totally different band's album cover, and its usually the same one. I can't find a sync button for the covers.
On win mobile 6.5 there was an update artwork button, and it worked fine. but I can't find one on android. Is there a way to update it? Or a different music app maybe? I'm using the one that comes with android.
I don't know if it matters but the music is on the SD card and I'm running gingerbread 2.3. Thanks in advance.

I solved the problem - I got the ³(cubed) music player and it has its own function to update album artwork and to look for artwork manually.
If anyone's comes across this problem, I recommend this app.

If you have the music player from honeycomb, it will do this if ou are syncing in accounts settings with your gmail account.
The same thing happened to me.
I stopped the music sync and everything went back to normal.
Interesting. Thanks for the info!

Anyone know of they work on the Nexus One? I'm downloading them now.
Camera installed and works but missing the shutter button graphics. Meh
Music App works great.
Desk Clock fails to install. Could be a permission thing.
Gallery 3D FCs when trying to launch.
Cube Livewallpaper works but FC's when opening the settings
I just tried the new Music app this morning. It works. They have official signatures too so it works even on unrooted phones.
The music app seems nice, though it also seems a bit sluggish to me. It will take a few days to know if some of the Music apps annoying bugs have been fixed yet.
I haven't tried the other apps yet, maybe later today. I'm curious what has been changed.
camera nd music work fine (though you will replace the camera app entirely and the prog is a bit crippled regarding options)
gallery-app does not work for me (force closes)
Music works fine, but still has not implemented Gapless Playback and Album Artist classification.
It won't install for me. It just says "Application not installed".
????
is there a way to install these on an unrooted phone without overwriting the original system apps?
Just install as normal. You can't overwrite a system app.
Any remarkable improvement in the new camera app?
I can't find the “Recent” section with album previews and a scrolling wheel feel? Can you guys tell me how to get to it?
Thanks.
Are any of y'all running unrooted stock gingerbread 2.3.3 on your phones? I am and I can only get the gallery to install and it just force closes

Im running stock gingerbread and the music player downloaded and is working just fine. Didn't try the other apps because reading the comments from other users they all had the same result as you.

Thanks for the feedback.
I tried re-installing the gingerbread update and installing the app again but I just got the same results. I had rooted my phone using SuperOneClick when it had Froyo because of internal space issues but when I updated it to Gingerbread there was really no need. It is my understanding the phone becomes unrooted after you install the update right?
I am unrooted 2.3.3, and as I said earlier, the music player won't install. I just get "Application not installed".
Is that what other people are getting?

I got the same error. My problem was that I had the updated music player (Gold Speaker Music App). I went ahead and reflashed the gapps, Giving me the old music app (Blue Speaker Music App), now the the music app installs just fine.
Note this will not replace the Blue Speaker Music App.
After the Leaked Music App was installed, I do not have the Music Sync option in the my Google sync settings that came with the Gold Speaker Music App. I have tried to update to the Gold Speaker Music App after I got the leaked music app working however the Gold Speaker Music App replaced both music apps.
Thought I would add: I was doing this in hopes that I would get the Jumper and the Sync option with the new Leaked Music App, just in case Syncing would start working. Maybe this is the key to get the Google Music Sync to work again and I hope someone smarter than me can figure this out.
Ah, a great thing about the new music player (just installed with no problem on my unrooted N1) is that it works with Voice Search's "Listen To..." option, where the old Froyo one doesn't. Very sweet. "Listen to Paranoid" brought the song right up, and it starts playing, no need to hit any keys. Will be great in the car.
Also seemed to grab an existing playlist I made on my phone using PowerAmp, which also makes me very very happy.
how can i make my album art show up for mp3's in play music? these are files that I've ripped on my own, not ones purchased through the play store.
I've got albumart.jpg's in the album folders, but they don't show up in the music app. This method worked fine using the HTC music app on my old One S.
Just use iTunes, and add the Album Art that way. Works perfectly fine for me.

Or if you're using Google Music, you can easily search for an album image on your computer and set it through their web interface.
Try renaming the files to folder.jpg. Or embed the artwork in each MP3 (I do this and it works fine with Google Music).
Unfortunately none of those methods worked for me so I remembered the old trick of clearing data from the app and that did it, at least for all but a couple stubborn albums.

Hello guys I have a bit of an issue with the Google play music widget, it doesn't display album art from albums I've imported manually but does with music present installed on the phone. If i open one of the albums from the widget, the app displays the imported album artwork fine. What am I missing?

Happens to me to, I guess its a bug of the nexus 4 or jellybean
MIne does this too. I displays some but not others. It's wierd.
I have the same problem on my Nexus 10. Seems like the My Library widget only displays the artwork for media stored in the Play cloud not on the device itself. Google should fix this.
@HankStorm Yeah I had just copied my albums to the PC, then uploaded to cloud, I can now see album artwork from the widget and download the albums from there to my phone if I so wish. Only took about an hour to do ha!

It's a real shame Google won't let you upload straight from your device as I download a lot of mix tapes straight to my phone.

Kill any other media players you have running. That worked for me. Widget was back in an instant.

Thanks for the advice, the widget worked fine to start off with. It just didn't show artwork for albums imported manually and stored locally on the phone. It's sorted now though.

As I said in original post. The albums already contain artwork. The app displays it just fine, the widget doesn't. It did fix by uploading the albums to cloud. But I will try the fc as you suggested next time and see what happens. Thanks

Same boat. I thought about using the Play Music system with the cloud and all to see what happens... but man, what a bunch of extra stuff to do.
Call me old school but I've never used any kind of 'manager' I just copy and paste, how does it get more simple?
I'm having this issue and it's very annoying. album art grabber doesn't work it thinks most of my albums already have art and the ones that have zero it downloads something but it never appears even after clearing the app cache and force closing.

same problem here on nexus 5 ,play music app shows art work fine the widget doesn't, seems a bit long winded to have to upload it elsewhere and then back to phone ,surely the widget gets its info from the app?

Seeing as it's only a problem with the widget I abandoned it. Not worth uploading everything and then having to distinguish between On Device or not, potentially streaming files that are available locally.
