GUYs plz help
after I have downloaded the LEO "STOCK" nand android rom which is very fast and goooooood the marktet stopped downloading anything when I click on download anything from market it just hang on STARTING DOWNLOAD................
but it never start
I have tried to instil skink_Clean_Desire_v1.4_package but unfortunately it have the same problem with the market
so is it a rom problem or something else??????????
another question when I want to download a new rom do I need to do delete the previous one first or do I just start download the NEW ONE..........
coz I don't usually delete the previous one but some roms doesn't work with me so I don't know if I'm missing some kind of steps or what????

install ur rom after wiping data,delvick cache.dont overwrite a new rom with previous one.

it's AMAZING the best rom that I have ever used but the market still not working

i installed a incredible s build on mine tonight. had the same issue. well first its the network error. then the download paused. then the starting download. i find it easier to select whatever im downloading cancel the download and just hit download again. or killing the market. turn wifi off then turn it back on. took me like and hour to get all my apps back to my phone...
Do u mean that u had the same issue with the market in the beginning and after that u fixed by killing the market, turn off the wifi and turn it back on..............

Hey everyone.. If someone can help me with this i wld really appreciate it.. I have a MT3G 32B n i have the Manups 2.1 ROM installed on MT3G.. It runs smooth sometimes.. In other words i get a few FOrse Closes sometimes which kinda sucks that and my keyboard always gets a force close as well n sometimes the Keyboard just wont work n i wold have to turn off the phone n turn it back on.. But the main problem i have with it is sometimes ill be using a program and all of the sudden my phone freezes then it will shut off n restart itself which kinda sucks n gets annoying sometimes.. Ok Ok it gets annoying alot lol.. i really like the Manups ROM but that makes me frustrated when it freezes then restarts itself.. Is there a way to fix this so i dont get so many force closes n my phone to restart it self on its own.. Please help..

Just incase you needed the info on the phone..
I would try starting from scratch; wipe, and reflash the ROM. Yeah, it's a pain in the a** to reinstall all of your apps, but it sounds like it's frustrating to use.

I've tried that about 3 or 4 times n had to reinstall all my apps 3 or 4 times already.. lol.. it did nothing it was the same.. thats kinda the reason why im on here to see if someone can help me with this problem..
I'd just try another rom, I think manups is old now so give a new one a try!
Yep, I took a look at the thread. It's abanadoned and you you can't really expect a stable 2.1 rom yet
I would try Cannons if anything
I'd just stick to a 1.6 though, completely stable lol

i was looking into Cannons ROM but ive been looking at the thread and ive been notice alot of people with problems with the ROM n i didnt wanna get a ROM thats giving people problems.. This has its problems but all the programs work.. Just get a few force closes sometimes n that freezing n then restarting part..

Just a heads up, since you have root access, you can download for free, "Backup for Root Users" from the market, its great, can select all sorts of things to backup but the best is "Apk's" which is your apps, so this way when your like me and prolly 99% of everyone else you can just open your File manager and open the "Backup" folder and install from there, instead of searching one by one from market, and waiting for it to download and then install...

Oh man bet that up.. ill download that now so i can have it next time i try to reinstall this ROM or if i go to a new ROM..

I just recently tried this. I liked it but I don't like 2.1, slow. It was "ok" though, not that bad to be honest. But try it, supereclair by koholoxxx i dont remmeber his name LOL but look for that! I got no force closes using it for a day

i was also usin manups2.1 for a few days, didnt really see to many force closes. but i did go back to 1.6 firmwares for the time being. currently on cyanogens and its great, multi touch browser and gallery, cam and video work and youtube. and wifi and bluetooth. thats what i need in a rom to work so thats what im usin.

Well guys thanks for all the help but i went to CaNNoN Complete Eclair 2.0 (Click here if you want the ROM.. ) with the black theme.. Runs flawlessly, smooth, no force closes, the best ROM ive seen so far.. cant wait for him to up date it some more.. if anyone ever wanna good ROM jump on CE2.0 you wont be disappointed..

WELL Framework moved on and some people wanted a update to this rom so i gave it a shot,, i went through and fixed a few issues , and tried to fix a few others but need feedback

I cannot get this to download on myphone bro. Have no idea why. I cant get to a comp till tomorrow but I'm home and going to try on wife's droid x and swap cards for a min
can someone help me, i have been having an issue with this rom and evil eris, when i flash the rom it just keeps rebooting on the boot screen(the three skating androids screen), i tried wiping and then just rebooting after i flashed a rom but no results can someone help

im not sure ,, is ur card defective? i know its not the rom, ive flashed it all day fixing things ,,try wiping a few times? are u full wiping ?

Install astro file manager, open it up, push menu, preferences,scroll down and enable browser downloads, it allows phone to download any type of file from phone. I had to do that to be able to download any roms, ive never had to use a comp since enabling that, not sure if you knew bout it
Hey guys I have a HD2 and I was able to install the NexusHD2-Gingerbread ROM on there.
I've only been able to install TweetDeck and Stumbleupon.
Anything else I click the free button, then okay, then it says downloading and it never installs the app.
Any help?
It was the market that was down. At least that's what I can tell. Anyways, try again, it should work.

HEY bro im using this rom for like 3 weeks now and its been working great, got that problem you got a few days ago installing one app to check the batt stats. downloading from applanet never had this prob.. so lets not be too quick to blame the rom when half the games and some apps we install dont work on gingerbread anyway..

Starting with xcd 35
Your mobile is now in factory condition with Non Root access.
So first try to get the feel of having a rooted device.
Advantage is that you will be elevated to a super user(term in linux for an admin user) - google how to Root zte blade, u will see a modaco link for that. Do that first and once u get a hang of having a rooted device proceed on to Installing Recovery, then a new ROM

The last stock update for blade is 2.2. And I'm not sure whether 2.3 stock will be available to blade or not.
But u can always have customised 2.3 AOSP roms.

actually i used z4root and i rooted permanently then i installed 2-3 recovery app one by one which showed me error that my phone isn't rooted yet...
Update :: Whew ! finally rooted phone using z4root modified version and recovery manager is also installed...
please guide me for further steps

Final Update :: finally got to install canyon mode 7.1.0 rc1 working on cell.... please tell me if there is any rom which is similar to android 2.3.4
Try Ginger Stir Fry presently version 26, very stable and good for daily use. And lot of people use it and post issues about it (also check modaco).. lot of support available.
Then there is elitemovil, LOT OF OPTIONS..... definitely worth a try. am going to jump into that after using gsf.

tried elite movil....
its almost same as the stock android 2.2 with missing stats bar...
will try gsf..
found canyonmode the best it have many features but the theme ins't good..
i just want to know how can i check which theme will be for which rom :-?

I remember task manager is a stock app of zte blade. No wonder if u find it missing in custom roms.
Removing /system/apps requires rooting. Use "titanium backup" or "root uninstaller" applications to remove those system apps. Those are the GUI tools for uninstalling system apps. You can also do it with command-line adb shell from a PC.

now when i try to install clockwise recovery using rom manager i get an error 'an error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands'
i was following the guide [wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/ZTE_Blade_%28Gen2%29:_Root_and_Recovery]but i didnt got the option to 'app root permission'
please guide me

I used rom manager app to install clockwise, google for it you will get it.....
i found it waste to have custom rom... nothing new in them, would like to wait for official dell xcd35 android release...
currently i am runnning stock android with adw luncher ex, quite enjoying.
i got a whole new look on my device....
need one question to be answered..
is there anyway app or way which could stop apps from opening automatically in background ? and few exception app doesnt get closed when i run kill all in task manager :-?

i normally dont fiddle with these roms but on official 2.2 the volume on headset is very low and its very diff. to listen any song or attend a call ... if this can be sorted out any how then i am happy with froyo

i dont think updating rom will solve this issue..
even i am facing low volume issue..
i think the speaker is not that strong... if there is any unlock you get for headset volume and speaker volume as well let me know...
Ad Hoc WiFI problem
Hi, I also use a xcd35, with stock rom 2.2, 512 MB.
I have realised that I cant share my laptop Vista Internet as programs like connectify will only create Ad Hoc connections and Android 2.2 wont detect the same.. Various forums suggests replacing wpa_supplicant.. wonder if anyone has done it and how far it was successful..
My camera works fine in wm 6.5 but it doesnt work on any of my sd roms (haret boot), doesnt work on american android or Nexus ICS by tytung hard reset hd2, formatted sd card and clean installed both, fixed permissions, still nothing... everything used to work fine until I got my lcd replaced and updated tmobile rom through t mobile website. in wm6.5 the phone runs flawlessly camera and everything.
What do you mean by "not working" ?
What exactly do you get? a black screen? a force close? an error message?

Black screen then will ask if I wan to wait or force close, have chose the wait option and after 10 minutes still nothing, reinstalled thru system/app camera.apk, nothing... 3rd party camera apps cant open it either.
So it's working under WinMo >>> supposedly eliminates hardware issue.
But it's not working under any "sd" android ROM AFTER an LCD replacement.
Maybe if you provide a logcat other members may be able to help you?
Have you tried it in "NAND" android? Have you tried different Kernels while on sd? Have you tried it on Windows Phone 7?
I'm at the limits of my knowledge, sorry.
I hope you get it fixed.
I haven't tried it on NAND but I'm not that knowledgeable about flashing roms and with all the trouble I've had I don't wanna screw anything else up ill post a logcat under a more defined thread, thanks for your help.

check out the link below if you want to try out NAND, once you know the steps it's actually not that hard.
ughh figured it out went back into windows mobile and it worked fine then it started working on and off, now it wont work at all even after hard reset, looks like its pointing towards a loose connection in the hardware not ROM related after all, thanks for the help. Time to go get in an argument with repair tech

Have you tried getting another camera app off the market? Most have issues with ICS and some others.
