I am having issues with it trying to setup. It is not force closing but when I setup the button, when I tap it from the home screen, it goes into setting instead of just showing the apps I have assigned to it. Not sure what I am doing wrong or if it is a bug on Xoom.
Edit: The "Blur" option in advanced settings does not seem to work. Only shows black background and the circle centered in the screen is not really centered... it is too far to the bottom in landscape cutting off the bottom icons in the circle.
I did it looks great for me love it

Has anyone else noticed after the recent adw updates when going back from menu or an app it seems to have rebooted itself and has to reload icons and widgets which takes a bit sometimes?
Yep. All adw launchers do that. There is an option in the settings to have it persist. But you will lose auto rotate in the hone screen

Noticed it too. Seems like a new thing.
I always check out peoples comments when I get an update available notification. This one seemed to be a few issues so have left it til they sort it out and do a new update. They come out pretty regularly so hopefully you will get sorted soon. Have you emailed them or commented on the app's wall?
are you using any theme? i used to have that problem when i was using sense theme.
Can´t find how to turn auto rotate of the the screen of, anyone can help??

1.1.3 came out today.. (I think it was today..)... Lets see if it's any more stable.. I had virtually no problems with it prior to 1.1.0.. now it's a nightmare!
Anybody else find it annoying that they replaced the "Notifications" option when you press the menu key with "Edit"? Cause I have the notifications bar hidden and now I have to open some random app to get the notification bar... (And no, I dont want to use the slide up/down gestures....)
Yea, mine crashes often
Mine has became laggy when scrolling through home page after the update!
Same experience here.....
After disabled scroll cache in settings, my home screen scrolling speed back to normal again. Finally solved this problem which has been troubling me for days.

anyone else notice that the grid used for widget/app shortcut placement is gone now with 3.1? not a big deal but I kind of liked what it looked like.. anyone else lose this? Other than that i like the updates subtle differences..

Try This
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
If you are talking about the grid of +'s that show up when you want to move a widget or shortcut, its not gone. It is, however pretty faint (especially if you have a whitish/blueish wallpaper), and it also only shows up in the general area around the item you are moving, not the whole panel. For example, if you are holding an item all the way on the right of the screen, there will be a grid there but nothing on the left side.
I guess there could be something wrong on your installation, but check again to be sure.
What is this grid you speak of? I have no grid in 3.0 or 3.1
Not gone on mine, and it's meant to be there, so it sounds like you have installed something that has removed it.

Something weird I noticed on my home screen is that the top and bottom is dark. The middle of the screen is at the brightness I set it to but the top and bottom are darker. It wasn't like this before. I restored a backup on TWRP and my screen was back to normal, but after a few minutes it went back to the darkness on the top and bottom. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Does anybody know how to fix this?

Go to your nova settings, click desktop and untick shadow option. That'll remove it

First off the S8+ is gorgeous yada yada.....but here are some of my observations.
a) Notifications show at top as an icon but there is no preview, floating notification or anything of the sort to let me know if I care or not about the notification without pulling the tray.
b) Tray is white and hard to read. There doesn't seem to be clear breaks in between the notifications so everything runs together rather than a hard line separation.
c) The notifications on the lock screen are simply small icons with no detail, even though I have the "Notifications Icons only" unchecked in settings
d) Touchwiz doesn't rotate to landscape. Everything is customizable enough so Samsung doesn't have me running to replace with a launcher but I need it to rotate. May revert back to Nova......
I have the same issue with a). For c) double tap the home button and it takes you to lock screen with notifications. The icons are for AOD.

My complaints so far are Fingerprint scanner location, and the Bixby button. Why not just make an app for Bixby? If it's good, people will use it. If not, it's cause it sucks. To add a physical button locked to Bixby is just friggin lazy. Apple wouldn't even do that.
Update:
Thanks for the tip on the double tap of the home button on the lock screen.
Another issue is there is no way to programatically pull down the tray without dislocating my thumb. I installed a third party floating widget that fixes this.

Nova and other third party launchers let you pull down the tray by swiping down anywhere on the screen.
Go to touchwiz settings, enable the apps button (this disables the pull down to apps). The pull down gesture will now open app the notification tray.
Where do you even find TouchWiz settings?

Long press the home screen or pinch zoom in home screen, you will get option for widgets, and launcher settings
But notification gesture is not working..

Yep, turning that on didn't work for the notification shade. That's why I asked if there was some setting I missed

Right, but we are talking about swiping down on the screen to get the notification tray, not the fingerprint reader, which does not appear possible like one user said it would.

I'm a dork. I didn't pay enough attention. I thought the question was in relation to the earlier mention of the fingerprint scanner swipe.

I tried finding the swipe down on home screen too to no avail. I really do sort of like the fingerprint swipe though since it works from anywhere.

Yeah, it works good enough. The senor isnt all that bad really
Mildly infuriating me that I've got my icons perfect size & using the LineX icon pack but whenever I go on to the recents page I have the standard icons which are also huge, any ideas?
It was a sore eye for me to see different sizes too so I turned off suggested apps, go to the 3 dots menu then settings from the recent page.

Yeah it sucks, I did turn off suggested apps briefly but I actually find them useful, hopefully a workaround is found or something, thanks for the suggestion though!
