2300 mAh Battery ROM??? - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi Guys, I looked everywhere but couldn't really find anything solid.
I'm running SD version of Android on my HD2 and the battery readings are way off for the 2300mAh battery.
Is there a fix or a compatible Android ROM that would work with this setup? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

nobody uses 2300mAh battery. where should i ask about this then? thanks

Have a look on this tread for the EB-Battery. Here are the kernel and you can find a rom with EB compatible.

any rom using kernel tytung v8 or newer should support eb 2300 mah...
hyperdroid or nexushd-gb

I can confirm MIUI 1.3.18 works with EB

All new kernels comming out will have the incorrect 2300mAh values corrected. I have written the new driver and it is being integrated into all new kernels.

[Q] HD2 battery life

Hello all,
I bough a T9193 HD2 with android NAND on it from a guy.
Model Number : Nexus One
Android version : 2.3.2
Baseband version : 15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.15_r6-g765f3a9 [email protected] #21
Build number: NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.3 NAND
I'm really happy with the phone, I use ADW 1.2.1 to have 5dock icons and some other things.
But the reason I'm opening this thread is cos I searched many threads but couldnt find best answers for my issues.
my issues are :
the battery life is really short
I installed 2 games HD and when I open it, doesnt start but the rest of the games run perfect
when I install some apps and want to use their Widgets, they dont show up on Widgets menu
Does anyone recommend any radio or ROM to improve my battery life ?
thank you

I tried the same build you described including the latest 2.5 build and also noticed shorten battery life. The problem I saw with an overnight SetCPU log, there was auto sync going on every 8-10 minutes even though I set everything to manual sync. I went back to Cmylxgo's Stock Desire HD(2) build. Much better battery life for me. I only lose 3% battery life over a nine hour period during the night when I have the phone on standby.
I'm using NexusOne ROM. After battery wipe trick and downclock CPU to ~700Mhz my HD2 is able to work about 36h (standard use).
I tried to find how to do it but none are focus in what u saying. How can I do battery swipe and crackdown? Please.
thanks

I said "swipe" instead of "wipe" - sorry for that, I'm not native english
First: look at this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=827355 (battery wipe/calibration)
Second: use an app which is attached at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505419 and downclock CPU for save battery consumption
P.S. Here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024867) is an helpful app to calibration battery on Android.

Best 7.8 ROM's in terms of battery life

What are the best 7.8 ROM's in terms of battery life?
Post your opinion and the ROM's you tried
Conclusion (from pLUSpISTOL, tomassz82, chemengand me)
It's not 100% sure, especially number one and two.
xuantunt
Vanilla
Dynamics
mi7ROM
?. ansar
+1
Or maybe a table to compare the features
Well, that depends what you put into "best". If you like stable os and good battery performance, the official release through zune is probably the way to go. On the other hand, if you like to run unofficial apps, some of the older custom ROMs are probably better.
A table will be hard to make, because you need to use every ROM a couple of days and the result will depend on the specific device.
I also think stock will provide the best battery life, but I would like a custom 7.8 ROM with good battery life
XDA-Devs Vanilla. Best battery life. :good:

I can confirm that. I have tried XDA-Devs Vanilla, Dynamics 2.0 and mi7ROM WP 7.8 Nokia Edition
Same as Tomas^
Great ROM, has all the features I need but you can add extras as personally needed.
As far as battery life is concerned, I think the best ROM is xuantunt's ROM 8858.136 RMT V6.1 Full Unlock V4 V-PLUS. It is the only one I have found to feature Vibrate-on-answer as well. But there are some elements altered that I don't like (info in About, some chinese context).

Which other ROM's did you try?

So far, Xuantunt and Vanilla seem the best. Has anybody tried both?

I've used a lot (more than 1 charge-recharge cycle) a. ''xda-devs Within Vanila 1.0'' and b. ''Dynamics v2.0''.
I also flashed ''NT 7.10.8858.136 V1 by ansar'' and ''mi7Rom WP7.8 Edition Nokia Mod v2'' but I didn't test them more than a day, so I can't be sure.
I'd say xuantant > Within Vanilla 1.0 > Dynamics v2.0
I can not tell which Rom is best because it has good battery something I like and spend the day with him rom
