How long do you guys get on battery life with trigger? I'm on bi-winning with overstock 2.1 and get pretty decent battery life

Wow it's already out? I'm still on 2.8.0, but I've been getting pretty good battery life. I noticed that turning wifi on overnight helped me a great bit and also since I really don't use my phone at work I leave it on edge instead of 3g.

Hehe I like to update about every month. I do appreciate the constant updates though. It's nice to know you're on top of it, the stock dialer looked out of place, but now I see that's changed so I'm happy

Well that's good news. Both that you have a Thunderbolt and that you're still working on the Fascinate.

Man, am I glad to hear you're not leaving! Your work has really made this phone so much better than samsung/verizon allowed it to be. And it's been a huge consolation to me cuz I got a year left with it. So, enjoy the 'bolt, just not too much...

Thank God!! You would have been greatly missed. Thanks so much Adrynalyne, think maybe Samsung should hire some real devs like yourself

So give us the rundown, how does it compare (General build, speed feel, battery life, etc)? As I don't think New Mexico will have Lte anytime soon, how does it perform on 3g? Assuming you are not in a 4g area is it an upgrade?

More interested in what an expert has to say than a youtube review. Quadrant doesn't mean much to me. I did play with one at Verizon today. Seemed nice... Just hard to really get a sense for it in the 3 min I spent with it. Had an incredible on it's launch day, so I know sense pretty well and for the most part like it, but I'm worried about the quality of the gpu in the thunderbolt. Most of the snapdragons suck when it comes to the gpu.

Trigger roms

Trigger roms sorry!!!!
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
i would say trigger for now. i use trigger and bionix v 1.3.1. trigger for me seems smoother and great batt life n rocked almost a 1900 in quad without set cpu w/ overstock. but inturn bionix v is just so damn fast. so slight edge to trigger. if / when tw comes with anything else oh man, the tide might shift.
but not to discourage tho i saw a 1.3.2 test. hmmmm
I may have to check out bionix thanks for the heads up.

hell yeah same here lol theirs just something about it
I have been running Trigger roms since I got my Vibrant in January. I love it. I like the way it looks and runs. And BT is very responsive and active regarding his rom. I have been searching and reading up on other roms, just wanting to try different things...so far I haven't come across one to pull me away.
Trigger all the way. Tried alot of different others, trigger has had best consistent data speeds / battery life for my vibrant fa sho!

+1 Trigger all the way!
This rom is crazy I haven't charged my phone for almost 3 days!!
I've been using Bionix almost exclusively for the past year as other Roms had broken or non-working parts. I recently tried Trigger and love it. I definitely put it up there with Bionix for quality, speed, and battery life. Bionix 1.3.1 is gold, but Trigger 3.0.1 is what I'm running now.

Everyone is bragging about trigger. Let me try. If it didn't turn out as great as everyone say, I'm going to hate all of you.
I had a bad experience with Trigger, lost 50% in 2hrs and my data speeds were crazy slow on both 3g and wifi

I'm still running trigger 2.9.2 with a couple if fixes that birgertime was swift to provide after people pointed them out, and it runs so well I'm hesitant to even upgrade to 3.0.1. And I came from axura prior to that.

For the record,
both of those things have nothing to with Trigger itself, but an uncalibrated battery, and maybe a bad modem flash

As for now, most of you guys who bragged about this rom are of the hook. lolz

I played w/ it for a little bit and felt that it wasn't very customizable and if THATS how WP7 is, boy is microsoft in for some pain.. hell, the iPhone is more customizable than WP7 appears to be (if this launcher closely mimics the customizability of WP7 very well)
just sayin'

To those of you running any one of the new Gingerbread Sense Roms

How are you doing on battery life? One of the features Gingerbread has over Froyo is that it's supposed to have better power management..Personally I have not found this to be true with any of the AOSP ROMs..so now I'm curious about the leaked "official" roms...Better, same, worse?? Due to my busy schedule and long days I'm not exactly tempted to find out on my own, so I'm looking to the community.

Energy, Warm, or Root's?

Asked this before, but may have gotten lost in the shuffle, so thought I'd try again...
So I've been looking at the Sense 3.5 ROMs, and was hoping to get some opinions on the pros and cons of each... my friend just flashed Energy and seems to like it, but I was kinda looking at the new Warm or the three versions by "Root" on themikmik forums... Anyone tried all three? What makes each of these different?
I tried Warm TwoPointThree did not like it too much mainly cause the battery life sucked for me. The rom itself was nice i liked it aside from the battery. But i went back to energy 3.5 get really good battery life running the Anthrax kernel.
But just experiment with the rom's and figure out what one runs best for your handset. What runs good for me might not run good for you.
I also went with Energy after trying Warm. For some reason Warm just would not work well with my phone. It was very buggy no matter how I tried to fix it. I believe this was an isolated incident though. I like Energy because I get tons of battery life and it just works well.

Thanks for the replies. What is Radience? I don't think I've seen that one in the development section.
I find most of the good sense 3 roms to be very similar. I think radiance is probably the most developed and best performing. Those blaze devs have been spending a boatload of time on sense 3.5 since very early on. Vins final release and warm are also very good.

JohnTheMan you should take a look at evo-4g-db.com as this gives you a qui of all the ROM's that are available for the EVO 4G and a link to the forums so that you can read for yourself what the developers and testers are saying as to what works and does not. I would post the link but still a NOOB on this site.

Noob, maybe I have to go back and run warm for a while longer.
Just curious here, what does warm have that say radiance or energy doesn't that makes u say its more complete? Just wondering. Thanks.
In my opinion energy at this point. It's smooth, fast and looks nice. I am running the Anthrax kernal and I get great battery life and no problems what so ever. Like the developer NRG says, "It just works".
i didnt like warm because of the feel and battery life energy is awesome on battery life but mms doesnt work. boost mobile
+1 for radience
