Notification for unbranded operator ROMs upgrade-ability to 21/2/2011 NoDo, by ansar.

Hi,
These operators can upgrade their WP7 OS to 21/2/2011 NoDo:
1. All Europe operator unbranded ROMs and
2. All Bell Mobility operator unbranded ROMs (not yet uploaded).
It is obvious that branded ROMs of these operators are also quilify for the upgrade.
The good news are that you can return from NoDo, re-unbrand and then again re-upgrade to NoDo.
When any other operator quilify you will be notified.

I think you mean 7008 which is pre-NoDo.
NoDo comes out march 8th.

[Q] Mango and a new language (Dutch)?

Dear all,
Last week I bought my Omnia7 and I'm happy with the phone and WP7. I upgraded it yesterday to Mango RTM and everything went well. Now the only wish I have is a Dutch language on the Omnia. Is there already a solution for it?

Can you explain how I can do this? Just updated to the RTM Mango via Zune (released today) and still no Dutch language support, only the languages WP7 supported from day 1.
How do i simply 'roll back' to NoDo and how do I change a registry on my phone?

To roll back to Nodo download the stock firmware from samfirmware.com. After this apply updates 7008 and 7392 by using Zune. When on 7392 you mast add the language to the registry and after this you can update to mango rtm again.

hello, i buy a new omnia 7: with
7.0.7004
unlocked with chevron7
telekom branding (german)
and i used the samsung tool, for the relocking problem with zune.
my question:
how should i update to pre-nodo and nodo?
with the zune updater?? will i lose my unlock?
or how is the temporarily method?
(i will keep the jailbreak/unlock)

7390
7004 is the 1st official release in October of WP7 OS.
7008 is the "February prequisite"
7390 is the first NoDo update
7392 is just a certificate update, still "Nodo" though
7392 is now the "default" NoDo update WP7 phones get, updating from 7008.

That's because AT&T didn't release the 7392 update for v1.3. You need to do the unbrand hack, but you will get the general (MS) version of NoDo instead of the AT&T one. Two minor differences in it.

Mango 8107 Update

I just updated my Jil Sander Phone to Mango 8107 using this guide (german language):

I think you can update "Officially" now, the usual Zune way.

Did you get an update notice? As far as I know, only branded phones get the update. The Jil Sander is not branded.

Oh yeah, I was talking about the branded O7.

I just wanted to help some fellow Jil Sander users.

When I tried to update on my Omnia 7, Zune came back with the error code, 80180008.
Anyone knows how to solve this?
