Good day everyone
I looked around on forum, and found this topic:

I had been used this Modified Phone.apk on my earlier Galaxy
and just wondering, what you guys think, is it
possible to port for nexus S?

I think it would be fantastic to extract the S-Planner from the Galaxy Note and find a way to make it available for other android devices. In the Galaxy Note forum someone posted the APKs and dependencies but it's not quite that simple. I rooted my Galaxy SII and copied all of the files into the system/app folder but am not sure what needs to happen for this to really work. Ideas would be great!
Use the appropriate libs from the galaxy note. /system/libs

Sorry I don't have note, I have a galaxy s . I was just looking for something in these forums and my eyes went on this topic so I replied.
Well, it will most likely depend on the touchwiz framework, which might not be quite the same on the Note as it is on the phones.
Just interested in this topic .... can someone take?
unfurtunately, this is not quite possible. It heavily relies on touchwiz framework. some development (who has bunch of free time to kill) can pull all the required files, re-compile and make it work for non-touchwiz ROMs,
good, but there are vet touchwiz versatile. what prevents tie them together?

There is one ParanoidAndroid for Arc S already, I think.
And porting the ROM from a whole different phone with different chipset is a lot of work, you need to resize all the framework image files, find the correct libs for all hardware parts and replace, edit the files to fit the libs and lots of other stuff.
Porting ROMs from phone to phone with more or less the same hardware would be easier.
I did not think it is so much fun
Hey ho Folks,
I'm a Flashmaniac since i got my SGS2 2 1/2 years ago and used 10+ different Roms.
I've got my new SGS4 Since yesterday, rooted 5 min after i unboxed it... put CM 10.1 on,
recovered all apps from my Old one and i'm nearly happy.
But!
I've like to get some of the Original Samsung apps back on... like the TV Remote or SmartStay ...
I searched here to get a dump of all apps but couldn't find them...
Therefor ... does anybody know how i get them, ether from an original Rom image or elswere?
Best Regards
Tig
CM framework is different from Touchwiz one, so you can't use samsung features/apps on CM, thats a cons from using CM

I've been looking about and I've yet to see anything related to this topic, I know the original Note and Note II now have PA, has anyone heard anything about a Note III port, has any dev picked it up yet?

Hello all- After a time away from my beloved Samsung (Sony, HTC, LG, Huawei and back..) I only just got around to getting a S4. When I had my S3 I had about 100 or so .apk fonts from an old thread here on XDA... anyway I still have those old fonts but they do not install on my S4.
Can I assume that they have upgraded something and these old .apk's are simply obsolete ?
Just curious as to what may have changed.
Cheers, LL13- :laugh::laugh:
