Hello, Do anyone knows how to get SPB Shell 3D working on my samsung Galaxy Apollo.
If I open SPB Shel 3D with the home button, then I get a black screen.
They said, the app is available for android mobiles of 2.1 and higher.
I have an apollo with android 2.1
Do anyone else have the same problem as I?

I use it on my G3 with froyo
It lags just a bit and the text beneath some icons is scrambled
Let it load for some time
Uninstall and then reinstall
That worked for me
Do you have install SPB Shell 3D also today, or yesterday??

dont know about you but i got spb mobile shell 5.0 to work on my phone ... its very smooth... animations are great and all!!!

Is that SPB Shell 3D?? or an older version??
I had sent an email to SPB, because of that the app don't work on my Apollo.
They said: It's not about android 2.1, but you don't have the good hardware on your device.

Then I think that the person of SPB is not right with his anser.

I didnt do anything.. I'm on kirilios 3.0 and just installed the spb 3d and it worked.. I have a GT-I5800(Galaxy 3). And here is the link that i used> LINK

How do you get Kirilios 3.0 on your GT I5800.
Is it not bad for your device??
For flashing your phone with any custom firmware (like kyrillios and more)go to development forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=868
And why bad? The custom firmwares are only for making the phones better with the stock you can't use live wallpapers, screenshot etc..

HTC Hero
I tried installing this a couple times on my hero running AOSP 2.2.1 and it doesnt seem to work at all, it installs but then when i choose to go to SPB home instead of Launcher it just goes to a black screen then reverts back to whichever screen i was using before
I use i5801 whit froyo jpf and I install spb 3d but I can't use this launcher. Please can anyone help me?

Working great on my I5801 with kyrillos' v3.0 .. It gave me an error regarding the market purchase but after I installed droidwall its working awesomely
Can't get it to work on my apollo, it seems to start, with a black screen for one minute or so, and than it gives the launcher picker again....
It has worked, I downloaded the file in the post but the texts are scrambled, so I stay with tw^^

I installed the new ROM tonight in order to get Sprint TV. When I reinstalled HTC Home (htchome-2.1-hermes-n2a.cab), it locks up the phone. Any ideas how to get HTC home working with the new ROM??

If you download and install HHC (HTC Home Customizer) it will download the proper HTC Home Plugin.
It hosed my HTC also - I installed a different HTC version and it started working but my weather update quit working
I switched to Spb Mobile and used some of greatbal's themes from this site -- I like that much better than HTC

If you don't want to install HHC you can always download the version of HTC Home that they use directly from their website

Thanks guys. I installed the HTC Home version (HTC Home Plugin v2.1 (patched by N2A)) from http://www.pocketemu.com/download8.html and it works. Weather works and brightness works.

What version is that? Do you have a link or a cab file? I would be interested in seeing any new versions and the improvements in them over the 2.1 version liked to above that I have been using since i got my mogul

dc13, thank you for your help, I just downloaded your cab... Sorry If I annoyed you by my request, but since the cab you posted doesn't even have a version number mentioned I assumed it was an older version of HTC Home
I did install the cab that you linked to. It installs the exact same HTCHome.dll that you can download from http://www.pocketemu.com/downloads19.html (I copied the \Windows\HTCHome.dll that was installed by the pocketemu.com cab onto my pc, uninstalled htchome, soft reset, verified that \Windows\HTCHome.dll did not exist, installed the cab that you linked to, copied the new \Windows\HTCHome.dll onto my pc and did a binary diff of the 2 files... they were binary identical)
So yeah, nothing new for me here, same HTC Home, same memory hog... I have been using both Pocket Digital Clock and cLaunch as an alternative to HTC home for a few days without problems (and I have more free memory), but then again all I wanted from HTC Home was the large clock and the easy to use finger friendly launcher so it is probably not a good alternative for everyone

The title is kind of misleading.
This isn't AOSP , but a sort of skin for an HTC rom to look like vanilla.

by optional, you mean that the nexus launcher is already installed, just not default right?
does nexus launcher work? having some problems with other roms with it, a lot of force closing and freezing up.

There is no Youtube app and the Nexus live wallpaper stays white, other then that and the auto rotation issues once its fixed iys gonna be my daily rom
yeah this is the kind of rom i have been waiting for so once the auto rotation is fixed it will be my daily rom to.

weird because it sync'd all my facebook people, but with no photos

1) would it be possible to put navigation on this rom?
2) would it be possible to take the messaging app from this and use it on another rom?

google maps installs fine from market... and there navigation r0x.

thats because your are already using a rom with it build in. you have this app already, its born into a froyo rom from the nexuz one, and open desire is based on that

I read through the comments on that site from the link you posted. They say that it only works on HTC devices although someone
claimed it worked on their Samsung Moment. Anyway, I dont think it works for our device. Im going to give it a shot though.

It's good news to find out that its possible to run flash 10.1 on eclair. Bad news to find out it doesn't work on the gt540.
Once i search on the samsung galaxy s spica forum and found out the same thing, but to get it running you had to change some settings in the browser.

Did the guys in the galaxy s spica forum talk about what settings in particular needed changing in the browser?
It was in the samsung i5700 section (i'll try to find the info). If im not mistaken they had to change some settings in the browser, but it would slow the browser. Like I said, i'll search and find that info again.
Flash 10.1 requires ARMv7 CPU. So it'll never work unless a binary is compiled for ARMv6.

WOW it worked:
What i did:
1. Downloaded the custom ROM (only the PDA file basically)
2. Loaded JPF ROM To ODIN normally, using all the original files
3.HOLD POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME Download mode
4. Flashed it, once it was successful I loaded to Odin ONLY the PDA file which came with the custom ROM package
IT DID NOT Booted successfully
5. Turn off the phone
6.Hold POWER+VOLUME+HOME keys together
Selected Factory rest/wipe data
7.Rebooted WOW IT WORKED!

its not a good rom...
1. looks really bad, (looks) not at all impressive...
2. i dont see any improved speed.....
i guess gsam's stock aosp 0.1 custom rom is 100 times better than this.....
gsam , if u are seeing this, please we want next updated version of your great rom..

I think the custom rom by Motafoca is uite good. Atleast no bugs till now, and great battery life. As for the looks I dont think it is any different to the other ROMS. It is just a matter of installing a launcher of your choice if you dont like Ream launcher.
By the way combined with your glossy green framework everythink looks enticing!
By the way Nakul, is there a chance of having that green themes of yours in other colors too? Like sky blue maybe??

yes thats exactly i am gonna release another theme.....
blue coloured with entirely different icons..
and hope if dark lestats deodexed rom is up, my theme would be full coz the stock apps would also then can be changed.....

Hi. Just like to share my brief experience with this rom and highlight a problem to the dev. Everything was fine, but the samsung keypad no longer worked well. It could only input numbers in the portrait 3x4 mode. The reason why I'm using the 3x4 is because this phone's my mom's and it's much easier for her to hit the larger 3x4 buttons than the smaller ones on the Qwerty keyboard.
