Then rebooted my phone, but when i did it i couldnt boot to the phone (system) and now i cant usww my phone. So please guys is it something to do??

If you've deleted busybox files then xRecovery is crashed - go for SEUS or flashtool->SEUS.
or pc companion
The most proven tactic in this case is to flash with SEUS and then repeat the rooting, xRecovery etc.

You need booted system for PCC, as far as I remember, otherwise it will not detect the system it's supposed to flash.

If he's got a custom ROM SEUS will claim it's up to date and will not flash. So, flashtool with old ROM first, then SEUS for newest update.

Hey all,
So I've managed to upgrade to FW 4, Doom's latest kernel, & Doom's autoroot also. Thanks Doom
I still can't seem to get root working. When I go in to Superuser to try to update, I get the following:
su-2.3.1-bin-signed.zip
reboot into recovery and flash it
I can't reboot into recovery (not sw cuz it's not rooted, hitting back key when powering on ignores me).
Anyone else know what I could try?
If you flashed to 4.0 first, then autoroot, then use kernel you will keep root and data.

Logseman told me to flash 4, kernel, then autoroot. Is this the wrong order? Have I lost my chance to root until Doom releases a new kernel?
I kept my data ok, just lost root... which is pants cuz the bloatware needs wiped before my sanity does :-/

If you have superuser you are rooted, if your using doomlords kernel there is no need to auto root as it comes with root. you dont need to update the app just the binaries, but you have the latest version with doomlords kernel so an update is not needed
worst comes to the worst, connect your device to flashtool and hit root

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I agree, def still rooted because i can delete sys apps through root explorer. I can't get Titanium to run - it reports I'm not rooted. Their "problems" link me to update Superuser but it compains re my 1st post that it can't update.
I uninstalled su, new install is 2.3.6.3 but it still refuses the update. Why I can't get into safe mode by hitting the back key on boot is strange too.
Don't know how to run Root from Flashtool, it's greyed out & sounds like I might lose data?
More idea's welcome

Hello , after my stupid install an custom rom , my X8 couldn't launch, so I did fixed it with PC Companion. After rooting I did installed xRecovery, but it doesn't work!
I tried with Flashtool , with .apk and by root explorer. It seems that nothing sees xRecovery. I did everything with instructions step by step. What I have to do I don't wanna stuck on stock rom. Any help?
I still have hope Anybody?
Have you tried X8 Toolbox?? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117100
Yes, that´s the easiest way, and you´ll also get the CWM-Recovery with this.
Hello, can I install this ROM using xrecovery, because that flashing **** is very confusing I tryed to do that with xrecovery, but i've got xperia bricked :S SOZ for english... SO maybe I can install it without flashing or tell me how to flash it, all tutorials of it is very cofusing... It says that I should install Bootloader, i tryed but my PC said that something wrong, and when i checked my phone with s1 tool there was all "HJSJDHSD" letters I meant large one not small so I think my phone is unlocked or something, but how about that other ****?

I'll come to this in a moment, wait for a while as I'm currently writing another post.
EDIT: guide here:
1. View this warning: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481630
2. If your phone manufacture date is (11W28 or below), proceed with the following steps, otherwise you cannot flash MiniCM7 and should flash PrimeHD/GingerDX for a similar experience.
3. If you can unlock your BL safely, read my guide on how to unlock your bootloader: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225. The links of simpler guides can be found inside my guide in the first few sections.
4. Once done, download Flashtool from here: androxyde.github.com. Install the ADB drivers for your device and the Flash mode drivers (found in /drivers folder in Flashtool folder).
5. Flash the nAa kernel here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1350484 using Flashtool
6. Boot into recovery using the back button and then create a backup.
7. Flash MiniCM7 ROM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362585 and the recommended GApps, then full wipe and wipe cache and dalvik cache, and then reboot.
DONE (hopefully)

Use Clock Work Mod if you have trouble with xRecovery.Instructions at here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1119456
Hello,
I just wanted to share how I have rooted my device today, and it was way easier than the methods I have been reading about so far.
My device: Xperia Z2 , C6543.
How I did it:
1- I updated my flashtool to the latest version, downloaded the 7.1.2.A.0.314 ftf for my region and flashed like instructed in the post. (Note that If you don't have flashtool installed, you have to go inside it's drivers folder and install the Z2 driver so it can communicate to the phone).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759934
2- After the downgrade to the 7.1.2.A.0.314 version mentioned above, I went to the flashtool menu (My 65XX -> Root -> Force towelroot)
When prompted to, I have choosen the SuperSU option.
Then the towelroot app showed in the phone's screen, I've tapped on "make it rain" and let it run.
After that the phone restarted and it was rooted.
3. Okay, now that the 7.1.2.A.0.314 is rooted, an OTA update notification showed up to update to the same version (lol). Well, I just let it update, and the root was there (I confirmed by restoring some data in titanium backup).
4. After that, another OTA update showed up to update to 23.0.1.A.0.167. Again, I let it download and install.
Well, that's what it took for me to root my z2 in it's latest version with only one downgrade and no manual adb commands, no manual rootkit downloads, pretty similar to the way I've always rooted my ZQ (R.I.P - it drowned lol).
The credits are due to the hard-working people who made all the mentioned tools, I am only doing my part by sharing an easier method than what i've seen around. Feel free to share your toughts.
Laters!
Sorry to be noob! Will it break anything like camera x reality or anything? And for warranty, can I claim it by just unrooting it(it's in the su) ?
Did not break anything for me. Now I can use foldermount and transfer heavy apps to the external sd. Wonderful. As for the warranty, since there is no recovery installed and no bootloader unlocked, it is as easy as doing the step 1 in the procedure described. It will flash the unrooted system back.
But ist same method, if u use this or this tool.
This post doesnt deserve an original development section!
thanks. I will follow this guide as i had root, upgraded and lost it. But i've have been itching to flash stuff lol.

I am not sure I understand what you mean, but if you are talking about the xperiarootkit compared to the "force towelroot" from flashtool, I checked the scripts in advance and they seem to be the same thing yes. The only shortcut to what I did was not having to flash recovery, and creating customized ftf, etc.

not before applying the OTA. Perhaps that would have helped. I have the app installed, but it says the binaries are not installed, to consult the forums for re-rooting

I think you have to do all the stuff one again and root device. Then check the option for its root survival and do ota updates. I think you'll be fine with the updates.
Question, /System RW? (don't confuse it with a TA Restore, as it could only be restoring to the /Data partition).

I doubt you'll have system RW access as sony ric should still be running, but if root is working fine flashing nut's recovery should fix this easily.
root achieved and kept
Nice one thanks for the info worked well and updated to .167 ota and kept root.
Going to give this a try. Thanks
Thanks for the info, OP.
I used flashtool to downgrade my D6503 to .55, tried to use towelroot, no luck. used the CVE root exploit and got root, but after that update center failed the verification to .314.
Your method works, so cheers!

flashtool will wipe your phone unless you unselect data partition (not recommended). The rooting part is non-destructive so no that part won't your phone.

Tried to install nut's recovery with supersu option but all the apks in the script could not be written into system folder. Also could not install xposed installer. May have to downgrade again and avoid this method
update: no need to downgrade again. sony_ric prevents r/w to system folder even with root, so I just used ric killer by forty two: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/general/4-4-4-sony-ric-killer-t2953141
afterward I was able to install xposed installer via normal method.
Thank you for the tutorial. It worked fine for me.
What will happen if I do a factory reset via settings-menu? Will root be gone? Do I have to downgrade again or can I install SuperSU to get root back?

Hi, I downloaded the last update in OTA but after reboot I'm stuck on the boot animation.
I'm on the stock rom, never updated since I bought the phone in august.
I'm root and of course my bootloader is unlocked. I have TWRP that I managed to reinstall with ADB Sideload after this f***ing update get me back on stock recovery.
Now I keep trying install Roms (Official and customs) via ADB Sideload. Each time it look like the install is successful but then TWRP tell me "no os install, are you sure you want to reboot". Then I'm always stuck on the boot animation (at least it's the animation of the rom I tried to install).
Before I tried to update via OTA the 1st time I made a backup with TWRP but now all my files have been replaced by files with random letters ans numbers, so I can't even restore my backup and I'm affraid I lost everything I had on my phone.
What should I do now ?
Thanks for your help

as i said, after flashing a rom it tell me "no os installed".
by factory reset you mean format hd ? i'd like not to loose everything.
Then you have to format it and then you have to install the stock rom.
