FB and twitter accounts - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hello,
When I reboot my phone, my accounts from twitter and facebook are both gone from "accounts and syncronisation"...
Anyone know why this is happening? I don't want to add both accounts everytime I reboot...
Thanks

You. can do it from there: uncheck your phonebook, check the facebook contacts and delete them all, then re-check your phonebook contacts

I've got the same problem. I don't especially mind my Facebook imported contacts showing in the full 'People' list, but I do not want them cluttering up my phone dialler screen.
How do I make my phone dialler ONLY show the numbers from my 'real' contacts (i.e. just the ones I sync with Outlook)? I can't see any sort of View option in the Dialler screen menus.

No contact icons in sms

The contact pics have disappeared in my sms's. It's not a facebook issue as I've removed all facebook apk's and odex's.
Anyone know a fix?

There is a thread about 10 places down from this one, try the possible fix from that one.
Thanks for your reply but no luck. Htc apps suck. I'm gonna try to find the 2.2 sms app and install it because it all works fine with cyanogenmod rom, just not the stock rom.

Solved.. removed htc sense account. Saved contacts to sd. Deleted contacts in google webmail. Synced from phone then restored contacts from sd and left sense account removed.
All down to htc sense. Pain in the nuts.

Need some help with apps.

I recently got this as my first android phone. My friend convinced me to perma-root this phone and I did. I now have CyanogenMod 7. However, a few things are bothering me. My calender is not syncing up correctly for some reason, and my contacts book looks so much more dull without the facebook links and their statuses under their names, as it did with the original interface/operating system I was using (stock that was loaded with HTC stuff).
Are there any apps that compensate or do the same thing as that friend linker?
Thank you
Assuming you mean linking you calendar with Gmail, this is a known issue. Go to settings, applications, all, Gmail, then clear data. You wont lose your emails as they're in the cloud and it should remedy your problem.

Link your Facebook account under accounts then go to contacts -> settings -> display options then click show the fb contacts.

But after every reboot the sync setting changes automatically to be deactivated and my facebook contacts disappear from my address book. I can reactivate it anyway, but if I reboot I found it deactivated again, and all facebook contacts are no more in my address book. Anybody can help ??? plz

Sense 3.5 Email notifications Question

Sorry about this but I don't understand what app is pushing email notifications to my phone on sense 3.5.
When I first boot up the rom before I have set up the email synch of HTC my phone will already get an email notification. Where does this come from? I would like to disable the app seeing as how I am receiving multiple notifications for one email.
Thank you for any assistance
---Edit---
Never mind I found it haha it was just gmail that was already on the phone to begin with. I wish I knew how to delete this...
Why would you want to delete gmail? Its the device main email. Its connected to Google which you sign in to your device with and sync everything with.

Because htc have its email app, so why need two if one is enough.

Some people use different apps for different mail. It's much more comfortable to use Gmail features on Gmail.
And the only thing needed to delete it, is any file manager with root privileges.
