Hi, I've installed BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA DESIRE HD V7 & GINGER 2.3.3_V9 ([DAF]Clean) on HTC HD2, everything is fine, but I can't run some app from SD (eg. Angry Birds from Market). I can run the app if it is installed on the phone memory, and I can install or move the app to SD, but when I click the icon, it shows "application…stopped unexpectedly". My friend running Ginger 2.3.2 don't have this problem. Is there anything I can do to make it work? thank you！
not sure why exactly this is but some games just don't work when installed on sd card
I was about to accept the result that some games (almost every game) just don't work when moved to SD card, but my friend's hd2 with another mod of gigerbread 2.3.2 has no problem with any games running on SD, which makes me wondering...

i had to run market enabler to fake tmobile marketplace, but after downloading it always fails to install. any ideas?

1. Go to Settings > SD card & phone storage and unmount SD card.
2. Install app from market
3. Mount SD card.

I had the exact same problem, in fact some apps you have to do this to get them to install ... yet others you don't...why is that ?

it is possibel that some apps are not working on a HD2 with a hacked android froyo 2.2 (Desire rom: mattc Leo + Froyo Sene v1.8)?
I have downloaded e.g Angry Birds and if i would like install the app i get a Error its called: Unknow error: -18 ???
Whats the problem ? Some other apps are working fine!

Known problems:
It is easier to list what I know doesn't work.
Certain apps from the market won't install. Neocore is one for example. You have 2 options to get them to work. A) Copy the .apk to your SD card then run it from your phone or B) Unmount your SD card first (Settings > SD Card > Unmount SD Card).

I think the only way to fix it is to move the games from SD to main memory. I don't know what's causing this as it was fine with v1.6. I hope they can fix this issue soon because i love this ROM.
i had this problem before,what i did was unistall all the games,conected the phone in mass storage and deleted everything in the .android secure folder on the sd card.disconected,wait for sd to remount then reboot the phone and then install the games from the market again and they worked fine after

I decided to go back to 2.1 from 2.2.1 cm beta1
Everything was ok then I decided to install root xrecovery and app2sd (i have had already a partition of apps) with autoinstall update.zip
But I cannot download angry birds!!! Download started but it doesn t continue
However if you tell me that it is only angry birds problem it doesn t matter (could you link me this apk?)
Another problem is market doesn t recognize my apps installed on as but only these installed via phone or updated so I don t know if there is any updated app but if I upgrade it manually market will recognize it!!!
Ps: installing apps these ones goes to sd so it could be ok

Had the same problem a while ago. When my installation location was set to external a good few apps would not install, however once I changed it back to internal it was ok. I'm using 2.3 and most if not all apps can be moved without problem hope this helped

in 2.1 i can't choose where to put apps, installing app2sd every app will go to external memory, but i can install everything apart from angry birds >.<
I'm using the TMOUS version of Pyramid ROM, and I haven't found the answer to this yet. Is there a way for me to natively install an app to the SD card (without going to the EU version)? I can move apps to the SD card just fine using the phones app mover.
The background of the question is this: I found iGo8 for Android, which made me ecstatic for a few minutes because now I can use my 2011 maps and POIs. But the install took over 35MB and now my phone is complaining about low memory constantly. Also, I haven't yet figured out how to get the program to see the maps, and all the other stuff. So if I can get iGo to install on the SD card, I can copy my map data there, and all will be happy.
