HELP!!!!!

You need to flash hspl 2.08
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

Once, I flash that then I can Install any version of Magldr???
I will try that and let you know.
Thanks....

Yeah you need HSPL 2.08.HSPL ]
You can then flash anything you want from there like radio's, WinMo custom ROM's, MAGLDR and cLK. Make sure you choose 2.08.HSPL and not 2.08.0000 from HSPL2/3/4 on your PC.

Problem solved. I was able to flash HSPL 2.08 and I now have Android on my phone...
Thanks a bunch to all for your help...
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

[Q] android for HD2 spl 3.03 need help!!!

hello!
i wanted to ask you guys plz if you can help me with how do i put android on
my HD2. i read a lot of stuff and tryied everything that is written in web sites but nothing helps.
my HD2 is writing spl 3.03.0000 on the colored screen and my rom is 1.66.405.2
the radio is 2.15.50.14. i tried using rom 3.14 but it didn't work so i read that i should downgrade my spl(i don't know how to do this) to 2.08 or lower so i could put HSPL3 but i coldn't do it.
if somebody knows which android system will work on HD2 spl 3.03 and how to do this plz write it down.
thanks...
I have the same problem please HELP!
Get HSPL4. Run it. Flash HSPL2.08.
That should work just fine.
are you sure in what you are saying??
are you sure in what you are saying that HSPL4 will work on spl 3.03 because in threads here it is written in big red bold that HSPL4 doesn't work with ANDROID/WP7 and SPL 3.03
plz someone confirm or say else way??
Android isn't compatible with SPL 3.03 only if you're using a NAND build.
You can always get a SD build and have it run from there.
Now, HSPL for 3.03 is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
As you can see, it works with SPL 3.03.
Now, read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=829954 and it'll say that HSPL3.03 works with Android builds.
The only thing is that it should be using a SD build. Download a SD Build and copy the "Android" folder to your SD Card. First click on CLRCAD.exe then click on HARET.exe.
Leave your phone alone for about 10-15 minutes and it should automatically boot into Android afterwards.
Then restart the phone to finalize the install just in case.

As naturesbless says, with HSPL4 you can downgrade SPL 3.03 to HSPL 2.08

[Q] How to install MAGLDR for installing Android 2.2 or 2.3 on HD2?

I read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893620
about how to install android 2.2 on HD2, but I can not get MAGLDR 1.13 installed first. I downloaded the package and ran ROMUpdateUtility.exe, it says updating ROM verion 3.14.831.3 to 2.00.000.0, I proceed with next, then the phone went to 4-colour screen mode, shows SPL version is 3.03. Later on, it goes to black screen with only HTC logo the 0% progress bar on. Few minutes later, the installation on my computer said error[262], update error.
I wasn't sure if I need to downgrade the SPL to 2.08, as people said in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=829954 it does not matter.
My HD2 has the lastest rom listed on HTC - HongKong English support site.
Please advise what I need to do to get MAGLDR installed?
Thank you.
That thread is from before MAGLDR even existed. You need 2.08.HSPL to flash MAGLDR.
You can get all the info you need here .

Thanks for your reply.
I just got the HSPL4 and installed the 2.08.000, not 2.08 SPL on my HD2.
But when I tried to install the MAGLDR 1.13 again, it did the same thing again, it goes to black screen with only HTC logo the 0% progress bar on. Few minutes later, the installation on my computer said error[262], update error.
Any idea?
It seems I need to install 2.08 SPL, not 2.08.000 in HSPL4.
It works fine now.
u need 2.08HSPL and a 576mb ram radio..

Please help

Hi i just flas my hd2 with hspl2 flash radio 2.15.50.14 and i cant flash wp7 or android.. After maglrd my hd2 got white screen with hts logo. So i put wm6.5 everything working but if i try run android from sd nothing black screen with htc logo..... Plese help i want wp7
Did you flash HSPL version 2.08 as this is the only HSPL MAGLDR supports? Also did yiou flash MAGLDR 1.13? I bet you did not flash the right HSPL though. Try flashing the 2.08 HSPL and then MAGLDR. check my sig for links for both HSPL and MAGLDR 1.13.
i dont know i got hspl2run and magdrl 113... so what can i do?? flash hspl again????
i download hspl2run from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433
them i instal hspl2run chose 1.42.hspl
any idea????
You need to learn to SEARCH before asking
The Radio you flashed is Great stay with it
for HSPL http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433
READ the thread You need HSPL2.08 to run Android / WP7 / MAGLDR.
Roms well there is a great choice. you might like to try the one in my sig or not.
PLEASE search and read don't just expect others to do all your research for you

Yes, choose 2.08.Hspl instead, it will not work with any other.

Android requires 2.08 HSPL on the HD2...so in HSPL4 choose the 2.08 HSPL
I have no sim card in the phone right now, but that surely shouldnt be an issue? when i start up the phone it says i am running
r 2.15.50.14
g 15.42.50.11u
d 3.14.04666
So are u saying i was not meant to install hspl4?
Someone please confirm but do i now have to get rid of HSPL4 downgrade my rom thus downgrading the spl then install appriopriate HSPL for that rom? if so what rom should i downgrade to?

It depends on what SPL/HSPL was on your HD2. If it was already HSPL 2.08, then it was OK for Magldr/Android.
Check the red lines in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5279236&postcount=4
So you have to run HSPL4 again, choose HSPL2.08, and then you can flash magldr...
I havnt changed that it came with 3.03.000
my spl is 3.03.000 so surely i cant choose that hspl?
Ok i am abit confused, but i have already installed hspl4, can i install it again and choose a different spl?
what i am asking is i have put hspl4 and choosen 3.03.000 can i now do the same process again and choose 2.8 or do i need to delete the hspl4 first?

That's a good question. Check this/ask this in the HSPL thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5279236#post5279236
Ok i ran it again and it worked, now when trying to install MAGLDR i get error 260.
Sorted it. So even if you have HSPL installed and a higher SPL you can run HSPL again without installing as long as its the same version and change it to a lower HSPL like 2.8

Seemed to have Bricked my HD2 migrating to Andriod, HELP

Ok I was moving over Andriod from WM65 Energy rom and started to install the MAGLDR and it seemed to load up fine! But once I rebooted, I just get the Energy ROM screen and it won't go further.
Even if I put it back in to BootLoad mode I can't get ActiveSync to connect to continue!
Any ideas?
WinMo ROMs and Android ROMs need different SPL versions. You should reset your HD2 using this step by step guide: http://www.jayceooi.com/2011/01/01/how-to-upgrade-htc-hd2-rom-through-sd-card-video/
You should take the latest stock ROM available, since this includes the latest Radio ROM which you need to run most Android ROMs. Afterwards I suggest installing HSPL2.08 and MAGLDR, CWM again.
Ok, I downloaded the stock rom and extracted the RUU and renamed to leoimg.nbh and did the bootloader thing and it didn't work!
What do I try next?
I know I've had to do the Task29 before when it got like this. Is that what I need to do again?
no need for task29.
there are two 'musts' for magldr to work
1 spl MUST be 2.08.hspl ONLY, no other will work.
In bootloader, does teh spl line say 2.08.hspl? no? magldr will not appear, even though it is flashed ok.
2 radio MUST be one that is compatible with the fabled 576meg ram trick, or to put it another way, it must be compatible with tmous phones, or a third way, it must be a x.xx.50. version radio, not a x.xx.51. version. Also, 2.05.50 and 2.06.50 will not work either. The one that came with your phone wont work, (assuming you don't have a tmous, if you DO have a tmous, you dont need to change radio.)
For ease, go flash radio 2.15.50
When both these conditions are met, and only then, magldr will start.
So, as you are now, ,
phone into bootloader
flash 2.08.hspl
phone back into bootloader
flash radio 2.15.50
back into bootloader
flash magldr
restart.

I believe this is my problem! A while back I mistakenly thought HSPL 3 was an updated version so I put it on. It is the SPL-3.03.HSPL. I'm not sure how to get it off and it doesn't seem to connect via activestink and it doesn't seem to wanna upgade off my card. leoimg.nbh is in root and booted in to bootload mode!
g
Just go back to the boot loader, connect your PC via USB and flash HSPL 2.08 over again. The HSPL application scans which SPL is installed and provides you the SPLs you can flash. 2.08HSPL is your choice.
Also search for radio master thread for HD2 in this forum, download and flash latest radio ROM.
Sent from my NexusHD2 using XDA App
Well, tried reloading of HSPL2 and I got an critical error bad SPL version!
I'll be searching around for this new error if anyone has a solution!
Also, if someone has time to get on Skype, I don't mind dropping down a tip!

You arent thinking right about exactly what hspl2, 3 and 4 are. There was no need to even use hspl2, hspl4 can set 2.08.hspl
hspl2 hspl3 and hspl4 aren't different 'versions' of hspl in the way you think, , selecting 2.08.hspl using hspl2 or hspl3 or hspl4 gives the very same 2.08.hspl, no difference. The .exe's are just loader programs, the only difference between them is the phone models and spl's each supports. so when you went to stock and no doubt ended up with spl 3.03.0000 hspl2 wouldnt work because it requires a starting spl of 2.08 or lower, as does hspl3.
using hspl4 does work, because it was released for just that reason, to support spl 3.03, its not 'better' or a higher version than hspl3, its just been tweaked to support more spl's.
