Well if its that of an annoyance to you why don't you make a thread saying "stop posting the same thing over and over about xperia getting gingerbread"

if you search xperia and gingerbread nothing appears, so people post, and after it's impossible to delete post

Then the people should take a look at the forum before spamming...

I know the mods have a lot of work to do but just take a look at the general section. There's a list of "Gingerbread coming to X10"! I must thank the members who brought it up here, but hearing the same news over and over again doesn´t make the update come any faster, so if the mods see this, pick the oldest topic about this and delete the other ones if possible.

Root for 2.2.1

I found this root in someone blog. According to the comments, it should and will work for wildfire with android 2.2.1.

Not again,
Many times its answered and the answer to full root is "NO" its not working for wildfire but it gives only temproot...

You still can do something with Temporary.

If I give you single Posts, it will be more than 10. (There's 16 actually, if you bothered to move your lazy backside and use search. But, I still listed it because it contains your hard work (Use Google and link to C-Skills Blog)
If you actually see the number of threads, it is 4. So, rather than arguing and polluting the Wildfire section with your crap threads (Transparent JPEG, Really? Weather Animation on Unlock using BW - OMG!), actually admit it that this thread of yours is redundant.
I'll agree with that one member said about you somewhere. Reading your posts make me feel like punching through my monitor.

If you knew those apps, why don't you tell us and still keep quiet around? Other ppl posted many times asking how to get those animation.
And you should blame xda app has bad search feature and not me.

Those are discoveries? Now, if you read the app description, it is very well listed over there what they do,. If I go around making a thread for every app I install or "discover" a new feature, I'll have to list probably 1,00,000+ threads here to do that.
Anyway, Thank God for the Ignore List feature. I am out of this thread and your posts from now. So, Post ahead as much as you want, and, I wont be bothering you anymore. Win-Win!

When someone answers a question that has already been answered a billion times, I call them patient, not 'smart'. What do you call the people who keep asking the same questions then? Why would anyone with half a brain join XDA to prove that they're smart? This is why talented devs like Jacob are leaving this forum.
I'm amazed at the number of utter morons that populate the Wildfire section. AND they have the audacity to diss the people who do have some sense. Can't wait to get out of here.
Oh and @melvin - I think YOU'RE the one who's trying to be smart here. Almost everyone (including you) who is active on this forum knows that temp root has been available for AGES.

hello android geeks, rooted my htc wildfire today itself. with hboot 1.01.001 and built in 2.2.1. full functional root possible and i am using it.

Ok guys/gals here it goes, Hopefully, this can become a sticky
Im gonna explain why I have decided to create this thread, and then I'm gonna explain what this thread will be all about.
First, why did I create this thread? I have noticed lately alot of members who like to get a little chatty in certain threads...whether its in the general section, dev section or themes & apps. Sometimes we can get a little carried away with our talking and it usually ends up with another member(s) telling these 2,3 sometimes 4 people to stay on topic and stop flooding the thread..Rightfully so. Sometimes, it also goes as far as a mod having to come into the thread, spend time cleaning it up, and then hand out bans, warnings, etc etc...rightfully so.
So, whats this thread all about? It's simple...THERE ARE NO TOPICS! we as XDA members sometimes like to talk..period! Within this thread we can talk about whatever we want...your fav rom, your fav theme, your fav theme with fav rom, other phones, cars, tv's, dslr camera, your job, where you live, post pictures of random cool things..etc etc.
The great thing about this is there will be NO going off topic, no warnings about going off topic, no being sent on vacation etc etc. This DOES NOT mean you now have the right to disrespect other members. This simply means you are now free to talk about whatever it is you want. Just as if we were all sitting around a camp fire with a beer in each hand...good ol' conversation!
The only thing I can ask of this is remember every member will and has there own opinion about anything that may get mentioned in this thread...PLEASE respect that! Don't be rude to other members, don't start fighting. This thread is our chance to finally go "off topic" without any harm.
This thread can be fun...I noticed alot of people who like to talk...so lets do this.
ps. Just because I created this thread does not mean in any way that I am gonna run it or be in control...oh helll no lol. This thread is for all of us to run and have fun. I suspect we are all mature enough to keep this thread fun, clean, stupid (you know how you get stupid sometimes, but it's funny lol) funny, and also help other people out with anything that gets talked about.
So, what do you guys say? Lets do this or what?
Now, im off for the night/early morning...my little girl will not go to sleep no matter what I do. It's been playtime for her for the last 17 hours or so...she is like that dang energizer bunny....I seriously don't get it...she needs sleep! lol

I bought my x8 in 2011 november... and been a member of this forum since... i saw so many things on this forum... how everything began... how everything evolved and how everything eventually ended..... i miss those days when i used to get excited about a new rom, a new kernel and even with news that so much was possible with such a small device. my respect to the developers... and my homage to my sony ericsson xperia x8... thank you
