No matter what I do I cant connect my Evo Shift through my USB to my computer so it will show up on my monitor to take a screenshot... can someone help me troubleshoot here? I just want to take screen shots
Downloaded SDK... did all I think I should for that.
Did the Java stuff too
Did the USB Debugging thing in my phones setting and thats where windows wants to look for a driver... one I can't and windows can't seem to find.

Make sure you have htc sync installed on your computer. Or temp root with visionary and use shoot me from the market.

Actually I was surprised to see the box missing the CD containing the manual, office trial and activesync/WMDC like the HD box had.

Remote Desktop

So, obviously you can access your computer from your Leo, which I've done.
But I was wondering if the opposite was possible i.e. accessing your Leo's screen from my laptop ?
Look forward to replies !

This also works through WiFi. Just right-click on the MyMobiler tray icon on your computer and click on 'connect IP'. If you enter your phone's ip there it'll connect...

Just Bought Got My HTC HD2

I just got my T Mobile HTC HD2 so far I'm liking it, a LOT to do still figuring it out, so is there a how to guide for newbies?
Also there's some apps I find that I really need
1. I need a app where I can mange my music straight from my phone cause I download and buy from itunes, the problem I'm having is deleting music from my phone I hate connecting my phone to my pc and then searching threw my music list and deleting that song, any suggestions?
Also I have no intentions of "flashing" my HTC mainly cause I don't wanna risk bricking my phone
Thank you in advance!
The phone has a File Explorer and you can delete stuff with it.
Here's a tweak guide for beginners. I dunno who wrote it but it's pretty good.
Omg thank you that thread helped me out a LOT!!!

Hi, I'm trying to resurrect my HTC Shift but I can't find the drivers online anymore. Does anyone have them and want to share?

I'm about to bring back my htc shift too... anybody in 2020 with any luck installing windows 10?
I ran with Windows 10 until recently, but had to give up on it as it was too bogged down by background updates and telemetry. If you can turn everything off it should be usuable, but I reverted back to WIndows and decided to use my Shift as a permanently offline retro machine.

Don't worry, the touchscreen will eventually work in Windows 7&10 eventually, you just have to keep faffing. Once it works, it keeps working forevermore.
I can't remember the specifics, but I would recommend to keep doing the following in no particular i.e. random order:
install "VistaECDrvV"
install Intel VGA Driver
Install "TouchScreen"
run resolution changer exe (or change the resolution from the shift control centre)
If you keep trying the above and have no joy, you may have more luck with the Sherry graphics driver, which seems to be more sophisticated (it allows Flight Simulator X to run!)
At some point it might start blue screening, but just keep doing the above in various different order and eventually all will be well. If necessary boot into safe mode to undo whatever caused the bluescreening and try a different order.
The fact that the touchscreen is working in SnapVue shows that there is no hardware issue.
It will eventually work, but how much time you want to spend trying is up to you.
Which OS are you running by the way? I'm running Windows 7. Windows doesn't work with the wifi driver without further faffing, covered elsewhere in this forum, but I can point you directly to it if need be.
Good luck and have fun, and if the fun stops, stop!
