Just a debuglog. Almost useless, because there is no useful info inside (except manila.exe logs which may point you to bugs in lua scripts and so on).

Of course. HTC's deblogger is useless, you can get log using any wince debugger.

I don't have such a key in my Shared Modules rgu at all. Strange that you can not delete it.
I have added a '-' before the key on an RGU.
In addition, i have converted ths rgu to a provxml.
The kernel will turn the options back to 1 automatically. I'd say leave it alone.. it doens't hurt anything...

Is there anyway to edit a setup.dll. I need to remove the EULA prompt from the attached dll so that I can run an unattended setup.
My problem is that I used the welcome.not file to skip screen alignment, but I have a cab that enters the alignment info. The only problem is that the alignment doesn't register until a reboot. Therefore, I cannot accept the EULA.
If anyone knows of anyway to edit it, or can edit it, it would be a great help.

Hi every one
After several trails of trying to disable the large start menu in roms that do not have this option in the Settings > personal or system, I found some how a slight solution.
1- You need any registry editor, some cooked roms include this application, but if you need one, you can get it from here
2- Open registry editor then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
Open the key ( Enable ) and change the Value data from (1) to (0).
OK then soft Reset.

Ok, for other large menus, really I don't have any Idea, but still you may try this thing...
download the large start menu cab from here , install it , then go to settings , you will find it there , just open it and disable , then soft reset
Waiting for feed back because I removed the rom with the large menus

Unfortunately, only application shortcuts may be assigned (namely no <command> commands)
any chance to change the hold red button? ive been wanting to remove the keypad lock and change it into s2u2.. so far no software can do that

Can You post that changed cab (of course with TB_TB_ premission)? I have also problem with installation (lack of permission). Maybe it`s a problem with my official I1 WM6.1 ROM?
I have found that Your CAB can be installed, but there is some conflict with RealVGA, becouse without RealVGA it instals and run properly, but after instaling RealVGA system don`t permit to install it.. Weird..

I'm also getting the permission error whenever I try this. I'm using EFN's 96DPI 5.0 Standard ROM. How do we fix that? I would really love to be able to change the End Key Hold short cut to point to the regular task manager 'cause the Samsung Task Manager looks funny when used on a 96 DPI ROM.

I tried to run FreePadSettings.exe on my HD2, but couldn't find a way to make it work.
- OEM.zip is corrupted : I could not extract the entire archive (don't think it would solve my problem, but who knows ?)
- I put in the same folder FreePadSettings.exe, the .mui, and the .cpl, added tg01w.dll and CommonRegistry.dll and Utility.dll, and then I got the message : Can't find PInvoke DLL "Utility.dll"
- I placed Utility.dll in Windows folder, but I got the same result
Don't know what to do next ....
By the way, are you sure it is this exe that launch the PAD ? Its name makes me think of a config utility ...

yes, you are true. its the config-tool.
the reason is, on toshiba you need to push/pull a special-toshiba key
(known as zoombar for ie8).
i try and try and try and i could minimize to this package.

hi on my home screen the quick links icons i cant add,theres supposed to be 9 but 2 are missing,i can remove them but cannot add or change any of them,any ideas?

restart your htc... and remove each of them and add again from contacts or other.. may be u can add contacts pic.. fav.. etc

Hola, the remove qtc cab is so you can change the icons for some of the programs..., but for your QuickLinks issue, please check your registry:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Home
There you have 0 - 8 meaning the values and keys for all 9 quicklinks ;-)
Check them and see if two (2) of these are corrupt.... If so, then check the entries of the good ones and adjust the "bad" ones
Probably some flunked or failed instal that screwd up, or what else did you instal?
What ROM are you running? Stock? If it is a custom ROM, inform your chef

Yes, in registry should be 9 files from 0-8, but the file number 2 is missing at all. That is probably the problem. I just don't know how to add a "file 2" manually, because I don't know ContactFavorType. The rest of values should be ok..
It was caused by some error during uninstalling of a official Facebook application distributed via Marketplace. So on the position 2 (file 2 in the regitry) was Facebook, but right now there is nothing:-D

Hola, simply check for the value on the other ones... my values differ since I have CHT and a cooked ROM, but if you want, take a look at my original set up without CHT, right after flashing the ROM - The ROM Cook only set the first three links as you will see at the bottom of the file ;-)
