Why run stock? I'm more than happy with the EB13 Roms like Frozen. There doesn't seem to be any significant improvements in EC05 that I'm aware of.

what would you guys say on macnut or axura? within smoothness? speed? stability? and so on...
I have used macnut, and that rom is great and comes with alot of features. But currently I am using axura and I really feel it has breathed new life into my phone. Try them both, but for smoothness and stability I wud choose axura.

Hey Master, since you are a developer can you answer question I've asked many times but still no answer.
How does one backup their stock kernel and radio/modem.
For example if I flash your Axura ROM, and I decide I want to go completely back to stock 2.1, I can use Nandroid for my ROM right? What about backing up and restoring my stock kernel, radio/modem etc?
thanks!
Axura all the way!

Well you can always do the easiest way, and take a look at what modem & kernel you are using in the settings.. E.g, JI2 Modem = JI2 Kernel
I think TeamWhiskey has a few d/ls with Kernels && Modem packages on there site.
So if there is another way of doing it, then I don't really know.
thanks for the posts guys.. just wanted some advice on the better rom.. I AM currently using axura right now with voodoo and a 1.3ghz OC.. wanting oclf more tho.. but I guess u just gotta get lucky to use oclf on this rom because I have tried installing oclf on my rom 4 or 5 times and it bricks it everytime.. so just gotta deal with voodoo...
but I mainly wanted to kno suggestions about macnut bc iv seen alot of posts saying macnut is better but also seen the same with axura

K0nane and ACS actually recommend not using it. With their leaked Gingerbread it had 3G issues which EC05 did not have. So I would stick with the EC05,
Do you BONSAI?
ED12 does not play well. Even devs recommend EC05 or other modems.
From what I've read, ED12 modem has no 4G, and may have GPS lock issues. Some have reported problems with 3G data also. Most people who are trying ED12 ROM are using EC05 modem with it.

I loaded and played with it yesterday. Went back to Syndicate - way too many bugs, the biggest being phone didn't ring - missed calls.
Honestly, don't see the big deal - it didn't seem any faster (Im overclocked), screens were different, but couldn't use it due to missed calls.
Since it is the wave of the future, I'm sure when its finished, it will be nice, but I will personally wait and enjoy my trouble free, stable phone.
I haven't flashed it yet either. I'm to happy with acs frozen. Its so stable. Plus the honeycomb theme. Can't get myself to do it cause I know ill be switching back I'm a heartbeat.

From what I see, v6 supercharger is exactly like autokiller from the market (The memory optimizer, not an actual task killer).

An official build, newer files to work with. Whether people believe it or not EH17 has many outdated bits and pieces which makes certain things involving CM and or MIUI rather annoying to try to fix, when we can't have anything newer to work off of. It could me a stable build altogether or it could be worse, but it'd have newer things to test with.
EH17 is far from "stable"...
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk

There's a comparison.
Since there is no EI22 and no changelog....no way of knowing. When an OTA hits or another phone besides "Lonny's" gets it, no way of knowing.

Since none of us have seen EI22 yet, I doubt there is an answer. It's possible that all that has changed is the kernel, and we have what we think is a current kernel so there are no changes.
It's possible that there is a newer better modem that uses less battery and gets better signal. They may have better drivers or more bug fixes in apps.
We'll have to wait and see.
