I have had a problem with my Epic since DI18. It was also on DK28 custom Roms, EB13, and NOW Stock EC05 ODIN flash from google direct link....
Here's my issue and I would like to know if anyone can reproduce....It might actually be possible that it is my phone.
I have a 2010 Hyundai Tucson. When I pair with the car, both phone and media audio play perfectly. When I leave the car and the connection is broken, the audio driver apparently becomes corrupt.
All the audio (phone, alarm, media, etc) gets routed through the earpiece and not through the speaker.
There is a constant subtle "click" from the earpiece as well.
The only solution is a soft reset and it fixes it until the next time.....
Any ideas?

Hi,
I've recently started using my cing8125 to play music and I have a very odd issue that I can't seem to lick.
When I play music and try to plug in a regular wired headset (like the one that came with the device), I got audio out of both the speakers on the side of the unit and the headset. Adjusting the volume on the device adjusts the volume in both the speakers and headset.
I do not believe it to be a hardware issue as I'm running the popular aku3.3 rom, and I recently flashed a friend's MDA to the same firmware and he is having the same problem.
Any ideas on how to get it to turn off the speakers when I have a headset plugged in? Shouldn't this be the default behavior?
IF you are running Faria WM 5 3.3 try this.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...name=faria_3_3
You will find the fix there.
Thanks so much for that! I knew I had read something about a fix earlier, but I couldn't remember where.
For people who are finding this thread in the futurem the fix is the following:
Q- After receiving a call music from player and sound from calls it played from internal speaker even with headphones inserted.
A- set HKCU\Control Panel\Soundcategories\Ring\Speaker to 0
I'm running Mammon's 1.0.4 DK28. This isn't really important as it's happened w/ every DK28 ROM I've used and it's the most extremely frustrating thing for me.
It goes like this...
I have my phone synced to a jabra earpiece and to the radio in my truck (Clarion CZ500)
I don't use my jabra much but when I do, I get the same weird behavior as in my truck.
In my truck, I get bluetooth connected. I can hear sounds etc. from my speakers. I can stream Pandora, etc. and it works fine. I can make a phone call and it will connect, but no sound unless i switch to speaker, then back to bluetooth.. After I hang up, I can't get bluetooth to produce sound at all. I disable bluetooth and try to listen to music etc. from the external speaker and only get sound from the phone's earpiece. If I make a call, and put it on speaker, still no sound from external speaker, only from the phone's earpiece. Then, after completing a phone call, the phone is sitting idle and makes a popping sound from the earpiece.. random time intervals but still happens until I power cycle the phone.
Any ideas as to how or why this is happening ?? It's extremely frustrating.
Thanks
Ok this is an issue that's plagued this phone since 2.2 came out(at least that's when I noticed it) and I'm asking if anyone knows of a workaround, fix, or otherwise to resolve this. My issue is that when I have headphones plugged in, listening to music, playing a game or whatever, I want(and expect) notification sounds(ringers, new text, new e-mail, etc.) sound to play through, and only through, the headphones. Instead what I get is that it plays through the external speaker(huh?) AND the headphones. I would expect that with anything plugged into the 3.5mm jack that the external speaker is entirely muted and remains that way until whatever's plugged into it is removed.
I work in a fairly quiet environment and sometimes forget to turn my ringer off when I get to the office. I am almost always listening to a podcast with my headphones though and it's disturbing to those around me and startles me, lol, when my phone rings, blasting it out to those around me. I have experienced this issue on the official 2.2 froyo build(and it's patches). I installed SFR(all versions) hoping it might do the trick but so far no. Is this something that might be fixed in a different kernel? I know I have options to run a different one and am not averse to trying it out if this is fixable. SFR has Voodoo control pre-installed which I checked to see if it had any settings for this type of thing and found none.
Help?
This is an issue with Android itself (all versions) and it is the same on every phone. I think Cyanogenmod is the only "solution."'
Did a search and didn't see this problem discussed...
My Moto X Pure has great audio volume by itself through its own speakers, until...
My problems arise after turning on bluetooth, connecting to something such as my car's radio or my Vizio bluetooth sound bar, listening to music a little bit or even a while and then turning off bluetooth and just using my phone normally. When I return to using my phone normally, my audio is so low. I can barely hear any notifications, lock/unlock sounds, music, etc. All volume sliders are still turned all the way up but still, low audio.
Again, this only happens after I've used bluetooth audio, stopped using it and returned to regular phone speaker operation.
The only fix I've found, and it's not a fix obviously, is to reboot the phone. Audio is back to normal, loud after the reboot. But then connect it via bluetooth to something and play music, stop, turn off bluetooth, the audio is once again verrrryyyyy low even though all volume sliders are all the way up.
Anyone else having this problem?
Android 6.0.0 here.
Hi there,
i was wondering if anyone experienced same issue happening to me with my Nova Plus. Random garbled/distorted sound only through Bluetooth. This happens only for voice calls through bluetooth, during each conversation random the sound is distorted, recovers and distorts again. it's impossible to keep a normal conversation. streaming music through bluettoth is fine though with the same equipment. i experience this issue so far in my car and with my bluetooth headphones.
I will try to re-pair them again but it's too much of a coincidence that two devices got bad paired. Hopefully that's the only reason. Any other suggestions i could try?
I'm not concerned on my Nova but I was on my old Samsung Galaxy S5 on custom ROM. It was a kernel related issue if I'm not wrong. Hope it will be fixed soon. As for me on my Nova I have an issue with audio like podcast that doesn't play. These Huawei phones are attractive ones but definitely not ready for daily use. Weird
**Update**
So i have an update on this. i've noticed that whenever i receive a call from my headphones or being in the car my phone is on wifi. yeah i know i got my own wifi following me everywhere . anyways, i tried and disconnected the wifi being on my headphones and received a call. no more distorted audio. have to check that in my car as well.
any update on this issue? I just got the Nova Plus. I like it but this bluetooth audio issue is making me unhappy
