Updated market - Nexus S General

Hi all, last night I did a factory reset on my Nexus s. Now I'm back to the old market. How do I update it? Thanks.

It should auto update by itself. Try downloading an app or two, or just wait.
Whenever I had the old one, it always updated by itself within a couple hours or a day.

After a factory reset it took the market like 4 days to update.

I was thinking the same thing. Just was hoping there was a fix or a work around.

Only have access to 50% of my battery.

For the last week my nexus 7 has been completely dying around 50% battery. If its in sleep mode when it hits that % then it won't turn on, if I'm using it when I hit that % I get a weird flicker then it shuts off. This just seems extremely strange that all of a sudden only half my battery works. A long with only having half my battery to work with, it seems like the tablet has been charging a lot slower then normal. I use to be able to work it down all the time and usually didn't charge it until 5%-10%
Anyone else ever have this issue? I contacted Asus and there only solution right now was a factory reset. I cant see how that could fix the issue at all.

are you rooted? what type of kernel are you using?
I have read that sometimes a factory reset refreshes the battery settings. Is your device rooted or rommed out?

That happened to one of my friends S2's. Factory reset it. It worked for my friend. My N7 also charged really slow. I just changed the ROM. It is the same thing as a factory reset because you do one when you change your ROM.

As said before, try a factory reset !

Phone restarting itself?

Has this happened to anyone? Just started happening today for me after I flashed factory ROM for the second time. Do you think it's the device or software issue?

You using HD Widget app by any chance?

My phone has rebooted twice and that is the only widget I'm using. I'm on rooted stock rom. A few other people said it was that app that caused the Nexus 7 to reboot so I'm guessing it's the same reason for our phone. I haven't used the widget for 3 days now and no rebooting since.
Overheating?
I had been watching Netfilx on my Nexus 4 using mobile data and my phone just restarted by itself. I was also charging it at the time, after it reset, I checked the temp. and it was at 102 f. I'm not sure why this happened, but it is the second time while I was using Netfilx, I didn't check the temp the first time... I'm starting to get worried, is it just me? Is it just because the phone is doing too much? Am I alone in this?

Randomly crashing after 4.3 update!

My Nexus 4 just started randomly started crashing after the 4.3 update ... Anyone having the same issue?? Please help...

Hmm. the Nexus 4 I'm using doesn't have that issue. Sounds like you have an app incompatibility with Android 4.3. I would suggest combing your apps, or doing a factory reset.

Thanks, it turned out to be Snapchat!

In three days I've had the phone reboot three times, all within the first hour after unplugging it. Twice it rebooted while I wasn't using it and once while sending an email. I'm completely stock and did a factory reset yesterday.

I fixed my snapchat issue by clearing my snapchat data and cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app!

Have I bricked a brand new phone?

Need help. Bought a brand new Moto x play today. Turned it on it found marshmallow. So downloaded it and installed now won't boot past Moto screen.
I went into recovery and cleared cache then factory reset no difference.
Any ideas? Why did I leave my iPhone ?
It can take up to 15 minutes after a big update or factory reset to boot the first time, did you wait long enough?

So... did you wait long enough? If so, I must tell that this kind of failures are not that uncommon with OTA updates. Personally I rather choose not to take 'em. Anyway: did you solved the problem?

Yes solved it. Took a long time to start.
