[Q] USB Connection failed - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting an

Hi, I need some help from you guys. I flashed WP7 for my HD2, everything was good. But I accidentally unregistered my phone by 'Windows Phone Developer Registration'. And I failed to register it again.
'Error communicating with the developer portal. Please set the correct data and time on the phone, check the Internet connection and try again later (ErrorCode:0x64)' was the error message.
And I failed to flash the ROM or reinstall the MAGLDR113 once again on my phone.
'Error Description: USB init failed; Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp(1198)' was the error message when I tried to flash the ROM again.
How can I fix my problem?

Similar problem here.
I flashed my HD2 with a custom ROM that already had the jailbreak baked into. Yesterday I purchased a developer program membership and thought I might legally register the phone.
I startet the registration tool from the Windows Phone Developer Tools and it said the phone was already registered. I managed to successfully unregister the phone but then, when trying to reregister it using my Live ID, I got the same error message (ErrorCode:0x64).
A lot of people at the developer forum on MSDN are complaining about this error as well. A couple of them said the registration tool wouldn't work on 64bit Windows. Some of them installed Windows 7 x86 on a virtual machine and tried to register their phone from there and it worked.
I am going to give it a try, too.
Did you have any success in the meantime?

Synchronization error

Hey guys 'n gals
I'm having a prob synchronising my Hermes, either through a usb cable or over bluetooth.
It connects fine, I can explore device and all, but never goes over the "looking for changes" - it just returns a very clear (!) "Synchronization error". No other error code...
The ActiveSync I'm using is 4.1, by the way, and have tried to re-install the driver to no avail.
How do I fix this? It was working a couple of weeks ago, and now no go! Looking back the only thing I did to it was to get it CID unlocked (as described in the wiki), but I think it had stopped working then too....
Can anyone help? Thanks!

[Q] Please Help - O2 xda Orbit is dead - ROM problem

Hi there, I've been reading the forum for about a week trying to find a fix for my deceased orbit xda.
Problem started when the phone started crashing, the screen was going white and needed re-starting. Eventually it failed to load and froze at the blue screen with the red writing!
so I started reading and tried soft and hard re-booting to no avail.
I have managed to get the phone into bootloader and connected a USB
it recognises the usb and installs as a mobile device on my laptop but here's where it gets tricky. I dunno alot about phone's and am struggling to understand some of the processes. I have tried booting off the SD card but it said invalid certificate (i used the artiemg.nhb file from rapidshare)
I have all the original paperwork and cd's for the phone but dont know what or how to flash a ROM.
what do I need and more important how do I do it without all the tech talk.
Its a WM5 phone - thanks
EDIT - Just to clarify, have just tried the romupdateutility on raving_nanza's sig but recieve an error - am running vista on my laptop
Update, I managed yesterday to get the phone to boot from the SD card and indeed it flashed it and WM5 is back up and running, the new problem is its network locked (to O2 i presume). I was using this phone on orange previously without an issue????
any Idea's other than paying imei check?

[FIXED]cannot install NAND roms anymore[FIXED]

Error happen
Read below for more information
Error Description: USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (723)
I got this when I first installed the standard DFT ROM, i found that by remving the accept USB connections in activesync resolved it and I was able to install. I then tried to install a different ROM and failed, I tried another and the same. I was initally getting RAPITOOL errors, dll not found. Reinstalled activesync and I am not getting those errors anymore but ROM still wont install. With error above.
Reinstalled Mag ok so bootloader installs still ok, anyone any ideas?
FECK, my NAND Android build has gone as well...
What helped for me:
- If USB is connected: right click on USB -> safely remove MAGLDR USB device
- remove MAGLDR USB driver from PC
- restart pc
- connect phone again via USB and let driver install
Should work fine again now. Guess something can go wrong in the USB driver sometimes.
mag does not show up as a device to remove, i will reboot and try again.
I think activesync reinstall resolved it as it worked after a rebooted, didnt reboot prior to that, thanks for your help anyway.
I spoke to soon, well managed to flash another ROM, didnt like it so flashed again, got half way through and then came up with error again, tried again, back to square one. Anyone ideas what is causing this?
rebooted, still the same, reinstalled activesync and rebooted, all ok again. Why is activesync required, cany anything else be used, anyone any idea what is happening here?
you can install magldr, radio or roms with ruu in 3 color mode in hspl...
get there with wol down key and end call button pressed
when magldr is already installed boot up your phone with pressing end call button until magldr menu appears
and then start you android flashing procedure the way cotulla explained it!
I had the 723 error too and what helped for me was executing the daf.exe with password secured admin rights (your profile on computer has to have admin rights and has to be password secured)

Hi, thanks for info but I am passed that point. I have already installed mag and tested my first ROM, I am having this problem when trying to flash new ROMS. I have now go another ROM on by reinstalling activesync and rebooting again, I am hoping someone is aware of this issue and let me know how to resolve it as I dont want to have to go through this rigmarole everytime I want to flash - as I am still at the stage of settling on a ROM and are trying all the current set.
In a much happier place right now. don't have to stress over winmo 6.5 anymore. Thank you all for your help. Lovin' Android on my HD2. So fast.

US T-Mobile G1 stucked at Google Account Sync activation

Hello folks, I have purchased a US T-Mobile G1 from the market on this forum and it was unlocked and rooted with latest version of cyanogen mod. Yesterday night while playing with the phone ( I am totally noob with the G1 ) I accidentally wiped everything back to the stock fw, so I lost dangerSPL, HDBoot and also the recovery partition has been corrupted.
Now with the stock firmware I am stuck with the google account sync even though if I press the menu button the APN editing option comes up and it lets me add the APN of my Italian sim card, but no matter what I do it just don't work, it keep say there's a problem with my SIM card network, and to try again.
Also when I turn on the phone I can see a screen that says Aperture Laboratories, with a draw of a cake which says "don't worry u still got root"
What is that??? a sort of perm root??
I been googling for a whole day now about how to bypass this process and I don't seems to have found any working informations.
Can anyone help me please ??? I am desperate ...
The only guide apparently working regarding bypassing the google account sync I have found is this one http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f606/bypass-t-mobile-g1-google-activation-phonecarecenter-781472/ , the problem is I can't just get to install the correct driver on Windows XP SP2/SP3 neither on Windows 7 32bit, I have tried the impossible, but it just doesnt work, and with the default windows 7 driver it can't be seen through adb devices... Is there a way to do it on Linux or Mac ??? Any working usb driver for Linux or osx ???
Does anyone have any idea??? I think the only way to activate this G1 is with a T-Mobile US sim card which I don't have and I don't have chance to get as I am in Italy, any help please ??? If I don't get that god damn home screen I wont be able to do anything ....
Umm - me too,in the same place .
Can't make my Windows (and i tried to use XP an Vista) to recognize HTC G1 as phone, not 'usb mass storage device'
I have successfully activated my G1 through wifi. Regarding the driver installation, I have went through this guide and I have followed it to letter, and it worked, hopefully it will work out for u..

LG E900 Optimus 7 - Error communicating with phone

hello everyone
I do not know whether the right place, there is a problem, I have a LG E900 Optimus 7 recognizes the Zune phone, when I try to open Developer Phone Registration (Status: Error communicating vith the App Hub. Please set the correct date and time on the phone, check the internet connection and try again later (ErrorCode:0x64))
Application Deployment (Status: Error - Failed to connect to device as it is developer locked. For details od developer unlock visit http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=195284),
ChevronVP7( Sorru, I`m having trouble communicating with the phone. - Please make sure it`s connected using USB, - Please start the Zune application).
not know where the problem is tried I have to unlock everything, do we have to make a factory reset on the phone or make me what to do
Could it be that your device it's already developer unlocked via the MFG method? That would explain why developer registration and Chevron WP are not working.
