I know the people with DI18 have a the new update.zip but, does anyone know when the people with EB13 get it? Has anyone tried this update on a phone with EB13? I search and couldn't find anything. Thanks for any info

im wondering the same thing
If sprint was smart they would have pushed the update for eb13 users first since most of them are probably people who did a manual update ;-)

Just my 2 cents but I don't think there going to get the update to eb13 user till Friday, I was the one who uploaded the update.zip here, and well It happen almost instanly when I went to di18, so I odin back to stock eb13 and was on it for like 3 hrs and never got it, well I couldn't wait so I went back to di18 and well I got it again,
But this is just what I think

That's fine. I will till friday but, I still downloaded the update you uploaded just incase. When you used odin to go back to DI18 did you lose all your data? Thanks again.

But if you root and backup prior to odin back to DI18 it makes the process of restoring your information less of a hassle. It is still something of a hassle, but it's not too bad.

How much data do one have anyways? I mean with titanium back up, and all kinds of restore apps, how hard is restoring back all your info? Today I went from eb13 to di18 to dg27 to dk28 back to di18 and now to ec05, all while restoring my 103 apps.
Just like dk28, there will not be an EB13 to EC05 update. You will need to be on di18 for the update.
Least this is what I was told.

I don't see how this could be true since EB13 was actually "officially" released.... someone like my mother would be stuck on it forever if that's the case.
There has got to be an update from EB13 -> EC05, otherwise too many users would be stranded on a "non stock" upgrade path.

According to information published by a Sprint rep on BAW, there will be an update path from EB13. No ODIN to DI18 needed. I'm quoting here:
"Important Notes:
- Software version is: S700.0.5S.EC05
- Devices with software versions DI18 and EB13 will receive the udpate
- Download and install time is approximately 10 minutes
- Released in stages with 100% of devices having received the update within 4 days"

currently rooted via unrevoked forever and running build 3.29.651.5 htc stock.
Possible for my setup to OTA update or would I have to wait for a stock htc build on xda? I thought unrevoked forever made sure you were rooted/able to root for good.

Wait until someone has it posted then flash it... or see what happens when everyone else does it. You may remain s-off, but lose root - I know, weird. In that case I'd think it would be easiest to flash a recovery and then flash the rooted version anyway, so just wait.

Hi guys,
I spoke with Samfirmware and they'll look for the tar.md5 for EI22 after they finish setting up the new site. Not ideal, I know, but at least it's something. If I hear and exact date I'll let you know.
