Hey.
When I tried to get to Recovery I turn on "Forced upload by KEY PRESSING".
How I can turn this off?
Help! :/
(sorry for my bad english).
When you press vol up + power + home, you go to forced upload . For recovery press vol up + vol down + power + home

Hello Everyone,
I have succesfully bricked my i9000.
I bought it for my dad, for fathers day.
But there was a crappy cm9 rom on it and i wanted to flash it to stock.
So i downloaded the I9000XWJW1_I9000XENJV5_XEN rom from Samfirmware, together with an s1_odin_20100512.pit file.
I loaded into download mode, booted odin, flashed and it failed at 20-30%
The phone was still in download mode and the bar was filled at 0-10%
I didn't know what to do, so i unticked repartition and tried again. nothing happend.
I rebooted, and all i get is a black screen.. the JIG is not working either..
When connecting, windows notes: SEC S5PC110 Test B/D
Please help!!! The solution that works i will give €10,- with paypal!
Put into download mode make sure reparation is checked and use 512 pit, make sure the .tar file is in the PDA section you only need them to files

Boot loop
Hi
I am new to Android OS.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 phone
I tried installing Cyanogenmod and after reboot my phone is in boot loop.
Before installing I haven't taken the backup.
I tried entering Recovery mode or Download mode by pressing power + home + Volume key, but it is not working.
I would be extremely grateful for any solutions or suggestions
Thanks in advance.

do a battery pull first, reinsert battery, than press Volume Down hold + press Home hold + than Power hold
till you enter download mode..give it a try
To enter recovery mode, shut down your phone and wait for it to be completely turned off then (do a battery pull) you hold the Volume Up + Home + Power and when you see the screen flicker with the B&W logo of SGS let go of the power button

Hello All!
New user here and first post
I recently got an S4 i9500 and been trying to root it. When ever I try to access download mode with the 3 buttons combo, I end up in the factory menu? I have tried endlessly to no avail with dif buttons combo but no luck.
Not sure if Im doing it wrong or if there is an issue with my device. Any help or suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Try turning off the phone, pull the battery for a minute and try again. Or insert a Jig after a minute if you have one that is.

Every Samsung android phone has download mode, what S4 model do you have? Turn off the phone, press volume down and then power, hold for about 3-5 seconds and you feel a vibration and you`re in downloadmode.
Eeeer you need to hold volume down+HOME+power

The only other reason an S4 didn't go to download mode was because it was a clone... Are you sure yours is the real deal?

Is your S4 rooted?
If so, you can try download ROM Manager and I think they have download mode together with boot and recovery.
yeah I alone really confused for my own phone, I guest what "ultramag69" is right.
Hi guys! I have a problem. Today I was trying to install cyanogenmod on my friend's lg l5. He said me he has just rooted and locked BL on that phone but he hadn't already the CWM. So I searched guides to install it and I found that I could install it through ROM Manager. I have installed this app and then installed recovery. That app said me that the process had been fine. So I restart to enter recovery mode by pressing volume - anf power and then the central button but it didn't work. The phone restarted normally but it was hardly resetted? Why is happened?? I can't enter in recovery mode, I need help please
PS Sorry for my bad english

Sorry if I do not understand what you said
The phone running on, do you pressed de volume- anf power and the home button?
If yes, you do wrong.
The correctly mode is press the same buttons, with the phone off, as you were turning on the phone.
Sorry for my bad english too

The first time I used the function "restart in recovery mode" of ROM Manager but it didn't work. The second time I turned off my phone and then pressed the buttons but didn't work yet
try vol + and power button, it will go in CWM
vol - & power = hard reset
vol + & power = cwm
vol +&- & usb cable = download mode
Thank you! I'll try tomorrow

Hi,
I have a recovery bootloop and i cant get it into download mode nor can i restart into system.
I have taken the battery out for 24 hours and still when i switch it on it just boot loops in recovery
Please help! What can i do to fix it ?
Take battery out, put it back in but don't press power on.
Instead, press Vol Down + Power + Home buttons all at the same time until something comes up on screen, then press Vol Up, to go to download mode.
