I'm still running my original stock ROM 2.10.53.1.1 and Radio 2.08.50.08_2 and would like to install darkstone SuperRAM FroYo v1.5. I didn't see any mention of the
necessary ROM/Radio combos.
Can I install with my present setup or do I need to update to the latest ROM first? I think the Radio I'm using is cool but not quite sure of the ROM. never really felt the need to update it but would like to be sure before any installation attempts. Thanks.
Your ROM is irrelevant. All Android needs is a suitable radio, which you have, so download the build and enjoy

I read as huge word of warning in a sticky or otherwise that I should always ensure the ROM to be flashed is compatible with the device
May I flash this NAND
[22 JAN] -=MDJ's CyanogenMod 7 v. 2.6 [A2SD+][GRH78C][RMNET][Kernel: MDJ S10.4 OC]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877777
to my Leo [TMOUS] [1024]?
It is not labelled that i can!!!!
whats the most safe bet for and gingerbread NAND? Because me phone already crashed once
If you own a Leo, and more specifically a TMOUS (1024 MB) Leo, then you can flash any ROM in the Leo forum to your device without any worries...

I flashed this ROM too (to my HD2 Leo). It's the very good ROM!
However, today I could not go to this thread anymore (?!? it was normal yesterday).

My HD2 come from France, If I'm not wrong only US TMobile or 1024. Your's is a 512 "only"... sad us!
It's not a big issue anyway. Just avoid the builds labelled [TMOUS 1024]. 1024/512 is the size of the NAND. A build made specificly for a 1024 will not have enough space in your phone.
I don't think it will destroy the phone but it not worth testing.
If you want a non-sense one you can try this one: HyperDroidGBXv4.0
It's small and good for me.
Honnestly, juts go flashing and flashing. You can always recover the phone even if the flash goes wrong (just restart the flash).

Sorry guys, i haven't updated my Android rom recently since Jan. i was using the very stable MDJ Froyo Revolution rom last edited 10th January. I generally flash me rom every 2 months but i noticed the MDJ threads have disappeared.
Can someone tell me whether MDJ roms have been: temporarily discontinued, deleted or moved somewhere else now?
Thanks in advance

I am looking for it too, and I'm having tha same problem
Well for mdj he refused to give up his source code so they closed his thread, thereby discontinuing his work for the HD2. If you can't find it however,t hen it's more than likely deleted.
Iunno bout cyanogen mod though.
I have read many comments on other ROMs and it seems hyperdroid is the only NAND ROM that's close to MDJ 2.6 CM7 Nand Rom - not that I am asking for being banned but just stating the facts.
Since MDJ was so good - it's gotta make you wonder what is going on and why he would not share the source of his code.
I have used it but incorrecty installed, and I'm trying to find it again
so sad that it've been blocked
Also, mdj is already in DHD. He is the one helping iamilka if am not mistaken.

Mdj was/is an excellent developer. That doesn't mean there aren't more. I personally enjoy typhoon cm7 as much or more than mdj roms

Hi,
How can I tell you what to do?
How do I know what YOU will like?
If,as you say,you like to try new ROMS....WHY DON'T YOU TRY A NEW ROM?
Make a CWM NAND backup of your present ROM,and flash a new ROM.
If you don't like it.....then restore the old one.

At the OP this is probably the best advice you will get on your question in my opinion.
How about, what are the benefits of Typhoon over Hyperdroid?
I've used both and I'm currently using hyperdroid cm7. Typhoon cm7 is a great rom but I switched to hyperdroid a few days ago and I must say I'm loving this rom more and more each day. But they're both great. It just depends on the person using them.

My personal use from both Roms, I enjoy hyperdroid more, but that's my preference. Yours??? I.....dk.lol

Comparison Of camera
All those who have tried both typhoon and hyperdroid , which one has better camera??
I mean i have tried desire roms for hd2 and camera on that one was better than hyperdroid cm7 rom ..
so i just want to know does typhoon cm7 have better camera than hyperdroid cm7 or not???
the difference is that hyperdroid cm7 is so stable ...but slow comparing typhoon ...
there's some typhoon versions witch are stable and fast ...but u need to teste them to find the one u like
