Dear all, I always used the PhamQuang room and never had a problem (apart from the versions lunched after v23. One week ago I upgraded to the official ROm from the HTC website. But today I tried to go back to PhamQuang Roms v20, v22(the only one that i didn't have any problems), v23, v27 but all of them when I make or receive the first call is working but when I try to go for the second and loose the sound completely. I can't hear anybody from the other side and nobody can hear me. Also I notice that in some ROM's after the second call the phone speaker get a strange noise.
Anybody know what could be possibly happen?
Thank you.
Hello,
flash this radio ROM and all will be ok.

hi there, finally i got my HTC HD Mini and im actually very happy with it. got all my apps (the ones i need) on it, and everything seemed to be ok.
but, the last couple of days something strange happened. when im answering a call, im hearing the other party, but the caller is not hearing me, its like im putting the other party on HOLD or MUTING THE MIC. none of these two buttons are actually pressed. Quiet strange, and im pretty sure, im not pressing these 2 buttons accidentally while making the call (by pressing them, when i hold the phone right near my ear)
Sometimes the other can hear me, sometimes the other can't.
Anyone else had the same problem ??
apart from that, this smart phone JUST ROCKS
i use to have that problem when i bought my mini in stock rom wwe 1.07.
Download the latest rom wwe 1.36 and install it. Then the problem with the mute will be solved and is more stable and faster than 1.07
thing is, i already got ROM version 1.36.482.1 (94538) ELL Dated: 24. Mai 2010. Came with the Phone
oh well, i reinstalled the current ROM, did a hard reset after ROM was installed, and everything is fine now for the last couple of days... hopefully the problem is solved
Yeah don't forget its windows . Resetting does fix a lot of problems !
LoOL, i think u r right
Ok, I have a HD2 (T9193) flashed to a LEO ROM (RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship) with radio 2.15.50.14 running the Superram version of android.
It works perfectly (calls are good and everything works) for quite a while. It was up for 4 days no reboot. Then randomly I got a call, I could hear them they could hear me, and then it dropped. I call them back and I have robot voice.
I KNOW THE "FIX" is to put it on loudspeaker then end the call immediately. Well this freezes the phone process and android force closes it. The whole phone crawls to a hault, and no matter what I try I cannot get it out of this robo-voice mode.
When this happened before, it took a good 2 or 3 hours of rebooting the phone and finally calls were ok and no robo voice. And it lasted 4 days.
I have run CLRCAD.exe and haret.exe manually and also used the bootloader (which does it for you) and same result once in android. I can make and receive calls just fine in windows mobile after this happens.
I am not sure what to do.
My radio is what people are suggesting, and it works most of the time
My ROM is a suggested ROM
It works most of the time then randomly does not
Loudspeaker then ending the call does not fix it but instead freezes the phone.
I have not seen anyone else post with these issues, so it does appear that a new thread is needed. Any help is appreciated.
i remember that i had this issue too... unfortuantely my solution was to just flash another android build
So you had this issue with the Froyo Superram version, but you switched to something else and now it is working?
Or did you have this issue with some other build before?
What version do you use now, and what is your hardware?
Hello all. I just downloaded NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.3 and ran it on my HTC HD2 and love the way it runs and looks. I previously had a Desire SD dual boot, which I HATED, but I wanted to try NAND. I REALLY love this, but when I make phone calls, I lose speaker sound and no call volume. If the screen flickers, it does this as well. I installed 2.08 HSPL, and everything seemed to run smoothly, but my only issue thus far and hopefully this is it is the sound issue. Robot voice at times. No ringer, no volume on received or dialed calls, alarms, etc.
Any suggestions on how to correct?
Again, I LOVE this, but this is the only issue I am currently experiencing.

Why do you start a new thread and didn't post your problem in the ROM thread ?
Hint: read first post in the NexusHD2 thread...text below known issues might help

This is my first posting and I tried a search and I could not find it. This is why I had started a new thread. I will check there.
Thanks.
hi all
i have been using nand android builds since day one , and in most of the builds i am having this same issue
sometimes when i receive a phone call the system just hangsout and then gives me a force close msg for the phone application !!
either way , if i force close or not , no further phone calls can be answered and the phone will freeze for about 30 seconds with every call
also when this happens the volume buttons wont modify the volume for the media anymore and the phone wont give any sounds
so is there something i can do to get rid of this ?
i tried android builds based on 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 , miui , sense , no sense , and i have this issue with all of them
again , it happens like 10% of the times
hope i get an answer to this
I want to ask what exactly rom are you using (does it use newest tytung r10 kernel?) and tell you that I have not been experiencing these issues with NexusHD2 2.8 rom (2.3.4).
fpu
i tried typhoon , rafdroid , ndt miui , and plenty more and i think typhoon and ndt miui has the latest kernel
have you ever tried receiving a phone call while the camera application is running
this seems to trigger the issue many times , not always tho
if you have the call recorder running turn it off. it was causing me lot's of problems.
Hi,
I have the same problem.
No matter what kernel.
Already hardresettet and reinstalled everything. Radio, Magldr, Rom, you name it.
I even did format 10 (or what ever it's called)
Anyone else experiencing this?
Will get a logcat later.

+1 Same ****...
Are You using Magldr? I had that problem with mag. Than i switched to cLK. and im okay.
I just recieved a phonecall without problems.
Flashed the .12 radio from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787&highlight=radio
however... My rom feels a bit slower now.
I am playing with it now.
Maybe clearing Dalvik cache will help. Or the issue comes back... Will see.
Got the same problem, tried different ROM's but no result. I'm thinking already to switch back to WM 6.5 :\

Switching Radio to something.12 did the trick for me.
No problems for two days now.

Yes that's it. Works fine for me
Mea culpa just today I had the same issue, for first time.
It's nothing major and reboot made it work fine again, but breaks my belief in HD2 as perfect, native-like Android device.

Beside changing of radio, THIS seems to be interesting.
I'm on MAG but considering switching to cLK (for many reasons - fastboot support being one, second that I don't need 99% of MAGLDR features).
Let's see how it all pans out ;-)
fpu
It just happened again! On the new rom... :/
There is a thread, however, stating that it's due to skype.
This can very well be true.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1164058
but I need skype to stay on contact with my girlfriend... why can't android support skype natively instead of sipthings? -.-
Well still... anyone tried clk (instead of magldr) and skype?
Disable "Audible touch tones". It's under Sound in Settings, it did the trick for me.
I thought this was against robot voice?
well what ever. let's give it a try. Thx
In my case, first call after reboot always had the robot voice. To fix it I'd just hang up and call again. But lately on non-Sense ROM's, the first call would go with robot voice and then I would get Force close on the phone app. This fixed it for me.
BTW I have T8585 Leo with 2.12 radio.

For me recieving a call does nothing but a very bad noise. hd2 nearly freezes after that. I cannot hang up most of the times. If I somehow manage to, phone app forcecloses and connection cannot be reestablished until I pull out the battery...
Good old Robotvoice. I wish that was my problem.
i have switched to cLK about 3 days ago and till now i have got no problems at all
