Help...phone is acting up - Galaxy S I9000 General

About three weeks ago my phone crashed in the middle of an update. I thought it was bricked. After many attempts to flash different ROMs and it always getting stuck on the logo screen it started working....or so I thought.
When I connect the USB cable the MTP screen comes up, then the phone vibrates and goes back to the normal screens.
If I try to use the alarm feature, again, it vibrates once, pauses, then vibrates twice. I then get the "Force Close" screen with the following message, "The application Clock(process com.sec.android.app.clockpackage) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
Same thing happens when I try to run the music player. I downloaded Poweramp and although it plays the sound is very low and sounds like complete ****. I then downloaded a different music player app and I get the same vibrate issues.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Also, Android Manager Wifi doesn't connect anymore. Don't know if that is related but I think it is.

[Q] Help!!

Hye guys!! i looking for a help & advice.. still new to HTC Wildfire & also newbie in this forum..
i just buy this HTC Wildfire A3333 last week, and have a problem in connecting wi-fi. Always say 'unable to scan for networks', and will automatically turn off..
current ROM (Checking Software Information):
Firmware: WildPuzzleROM_2.1 Eclair v1.0.1
Baseband: 13.45.55.24H_3.35.15.31
Kernel: 2.6.29-6fb59e13
Build No: 1.37.405.1 CL262524 release-keys
Software No: 1.37.405.1
Browser: Webkit 3.1
BUZZ PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.80.0003
MICROP-0622
RADIO-3.35.15.31
is it because my set is outdated? someone pls help me, i really don't know what to do, willing to learn more but looks everybody have been further front, i'm new..
It would be worth upgrading to cm7 and suggested radio
Everything works fine with cm7 here
Pretty easy since your phone is all ready rooted ,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957140
All instructions are here somewhere ,id just be repeating them
It may seem hard , but some nice people have done the hard bit , some reading to get a handle on what your doing before attempt is all ways good
. but we got the easy job
Thanks morbosity..
need to try it out first. i've download both file, and now installing.. see the output..
i've installed it, all ok.. except my Wi-Fi..
when i try to turn-on wi-fi.. suddenly cyanogen (mod) 7 animation is out, hang just like that.. on & off, now, i cannot do anything, do i've to re-start my phone.. pls guide me thru this phase..
IF i understand you correctly , Your in a reboot loop? ,not sure why wifi would cause that
At this point i would not panic , i did the reboot loop from not wiping my cashe
a wipe and reinstall fixed that
1st i`d reflash just the radio (from my understanding)
If that does not work
then clean out cashes , and go back to a standard rom if still having trouble.

[Q] Why won't my nook connect to my computer anymore?

Hey everyone,
My girlfriend recently bought a NookColor via Craigslist that was already running
Gingerbread. Now i'm new to the Android ROM being on a Nook so bear with
me.
Here's the Stat's:
Android Version: 2.3.4
CPU Info: ARMv7 Processor rev 2(v7l)
Mod Version: CyanogenMod-7-05102011- NIGHTLY- encore
Build number: GRj22
Here's the Problem:
There's a problem with the NC lagging and randomly pressing buttons. (i.e.
Angry birds randomly launching... Very frustrating >.< )
There's also a problem with the USB connection when I try to get into the Mass
Storage Mode. When i pull the Notification bar down and press the "USB Connect
files to Computer" button to get into Mass Storage mode it freezes and returns
to the home screen.
Can anyone give me some words of wisdom to fix these problems?
Honeycomb is very unstable, check out cm7 for it. Just Google it, or look in the stickies on android development here in the nook forums.

Since you didn't mention, I assume you ran CM7 on eMMC.
If that's the case, then it won't hurt to do another clean installation on eMMC again using latest nightly build

[Q] I9505 Lollipop - no internet - tons of "stopped" errors - Recovery: No Command!

[Q] I9505 Lollipop - no internet - tons of "stopped" errors - Recovery: No Command!
Hello again! After my wifi problem on Kitkat which was solved by reflashing several times (as suggested by a forum user ) I tried flashing to lollipop (5.0.1) which worked out perfectly, no problem this time. I flashed lollipop and rooted on friday and during the whole weekend everything worked perfectly. The phone was fast and smooth, no lags and no errors.
Today I woke up and as soon as I tried to use the phone I got tons of "unfortunately stopped" error messages. Things that give the error: Youtube, gmail, google, play store, bluetooth, samsung account, and a long etc. the camera does not work either and I can't connect to internet using WIFI nor mobile data.
As soon as I dissable mobile data and WIFI the errors go away, and everything seems ok. but of course without camera nor internet which makes my phone useless. (can only receive phone calls, which I tested)
EDIT: Seems like I found another Symptom/Error: I can't see the files in my Sd card nor the internal storage since I'm on a "fresh" factory reset System I only have access to the built in "My FIles" app and it shows "No files" on the internal storage, and does not even show the external sd card. I tried using an OTG cable (Which worked fine before all this happened) and it recognizes there is a usb drive connected but "My Files" shows the same: "No Files" even though the usb stick works fine and has several files.
Searched the forum but could not find this particular problem where all the errors come from turning on any kind of internet access (which does not work anyway, since besides the errors I can't connect to internet neither on wifi nor using mobile data)
I tried Factory Reset twice and as soon as it starts reinstalling the "system" I start getting those same tons of errors and If I try using my wifi password to connect to internet it can't go past the samsung account or google account step, it stays there giving errors on a loop. So I try setting up the wifi "Later" and it's able to complete the factory reset, but without fixing anything. No camera, no wifi, no mobile data, as as soon as I try to connect to the internet I start getting all those error and almost any imaginable app (of the freshly factory reseted S4)
I think I'll try reflashing it as soon as I get home from work, but would it help???
Any ideas?? has someone else had this problem before?
If reflshing does not work could I try downgrading to kitkat?
Did my phone died this time for ever???

Massive Crash on Startup - Please help find the culprit

Hello!
I have rooted my LG V20 H990DS using this method. So far so good. Then I have upgraded Android using the procedure here. The problem is that now I am experiencing some problems at startup:
sometimes (actually 9 times out of 10) I experience a major crash of many apps at startup. Something like "App XYZ keeps stopping" ... After many reboots, everything goes back to normal and I the system runs smooth as butter ... until the next reboot.
I would like to pinpoint the source of the crashes ... if it is an app, the kernel or something else. I attached a logcat and the output of dmesg . If others/better log files were needed, please let me know. Right now I have no idea who I could report this problem to. I have already tried wiping dalvik and cache multiple times.
Other info:
Device: LG v20 H990DS
Android version: Nougat 7.0
Build Number: NRD90M
Kernel: 3.18.90-DOTS_H990_kernel-leicxan_jahlex-v1.4
Rooted: Yes
Xposed: Yes (version 89)
Found the culprit: Greenify
