if got Android 2.3 working on my myTouch4g but I can not do a call. If I call someone or get an incomming call it takes about three seconds and there is sound and the connection is closed.
Got anybody the same problem or can help me out?
What ROM specifically? Did you do a full wipe before you flashed? Did you read the thread about the ROM before you flashed, because if that was a common issue I'm pretty sure it would come up fairly quickly. If you answered yes to those 2 questions, I would do download the ROM again, do a full wipe, and then reinstall.
Yes, I wiped all data and read the flash manual. Thanks, I will try to flash my phone again.
I downloaded Nightly CM7 and installed it.
Now I've got the same problem as before, I can't do a phone call.

I've got the popular sound problem when trying to install android.
I have an HTC stock u.k. hd2. (RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship.exe )
I have installed hspl 2.08, mgrldr 1.13 and tried several android roms both from sd and from nand. Each time they work fine.....but every time I have the robot voice and no incoming sound whilst on a call.
I have tried different wm6.5 roms,different radios then android....same result.
The sound on wm6.5 is prefect so I'm ruling out a hardware problem. But what can it be ?
I have tried pressing the speaker button, then end the first call ( as suggested on one thread ). ..same result. I have also tried disabling audible touch tones..
As a last resort I erased everything, reflashed the stock rom, then tried 2 android sd releases.....same result.
I give up, unless someone has a slolution......please !!
obviously you didn't search hard enough.
Please disable "Audible Touch Tones" the moment you install the ROM before your 1st reboot to prevent Robo Voice!

Turn on speaker while in call, and then end the call immediately, this should help untill next reboot. You might try with a new radio.

You're right, I apologize.
Have you cleared the data in the telephone app?
Did you restore your settings through a backup/restore app? That might be the problem.

I have just formated my sd card and downloaded rafdroid sd onto it. Reflashed the stock 6.5 rom, then followed the rafdroid install notes, to the letter...
android worked perfectly...sound o.k. every 15 minutes I rang it to check. Then after about a hour or so, I tried a call to it and NO ring. Checking the phone all sound has stopped...
the only thing I have done in between is download some apps from the market.....
reboot and it's o.k again....but I am sure it will go again....
The phone not ringing also happens with me and a friend of mine.
But is your robovoice over now?
You can try to put your media (ringtone, alarms and notifications) to a map called 'media' (minus the quotes) on the root of your sd card.
i have now installed everything yet again. Put stock rom on from htc site...installed Boyppc ginger 2 V5 rom....and am pleased to report everything has been running perfectly for 2 days !!
I can only assume that there is a problem with some of the roms...maybe with the o2 network....I don't know. I did nothing different this time, but now it works...
I had nearly given up....glad I didn't...this rom is brilliant !!

So, the story is, got myself defy. Have not tried to call on a first few days, but the internet worked fine, flashed wiui rom. Then when I tied to call, it gets disconnected instantly, cant sent messages , nobody can call me, but internet, 3g or 2g is fine. Baseband does not help, flashing back does not help. Nothing helps. Any tips?
Try a bit... Had this one's, reboot did it.

Try to wipe cache and dalvik
well. everything is tried. Im not the first time user. Even tried few roms.
You might have a radio problem with phone. Try making a call with logcat open see if that helps you.

I posted the question in the Q & A thread but I fear my question got lost in between the many that are asked.
I own a rooted S4 from Rogers Canada, which used to be on Alpha Infamous rom, an old version like the 5.0 from at least 6 months ago. Everything runned fine until recently. The phone started giving me some trouble. After missing a phone call while I didn't had the phone on me, the screen stayed on showing missed call until I happened to see the phone and pressing power to close it. The same started happening with message at about the same time.
Since I thought I might have installed a dumb apk on gplay that messed something in the settings, I went to get a new Rom. Alpha having no development for a long time, I thought I'd try something else.
I have tried both omega v25 and [23/03][4.4.2][XXUFNBH]< Echoe v18 > [07/02][4.3][NA4]< Echoe v12.1 "The Final Bean">, the latest which I run at the moment. Both gave me the same trouble with the screen staying powered after missing a msg or a phone call.
Since I don't know how to fix it, I was wondering if anyone could help me out ?
I'm no pro at rooting/flashing but I did the wipe dalvik, cache and everything before flashing both of the new rom. I didn't update the bootloader as I didn't remember clearly how or if it was necessary but the rom in general runs great so I figured out it was ok this way. The only trouble I have is with the screen as previously stated. I didn't flashed the modem either as I seem to have great download speed (without testing, simply feeling it).
So as of now, I'm running Echoe V18 with most of the bloatware disabled in aroma installer.
What can I do to fix this? I've tried googling but nothing close to my trouble came as result. Neither could I find an answer here, there's so many result I might have simply missed it.

I am using Samsung S3 NEO with Stock ROM and without ROOT but from the last 3 days, I am unable to use the device! Every 5 seconds this error pops up - Process.com android not responding!
I am simply unable to use the device! Can't even call someone!
I tried a factory reset but of no use! This error still prevails but the occurence duration has been reduced! But, still m unable to use the fon as it just hangs up in between anything and everything!
Pls. help me with it's solution asap! What should I do? Pls...
UPDATE - It asked for updating and I updated my device to 4.4.4 (Stock).
But still, the phone still hangs a lot but the error has changed! Earlier, it showed - Process com android not responding!
But now, it shows - Google Play, Google TV, Google Calendar has stopped working!
These types of errors are being displayed and m still unable to use my device! Pls. let me know it's solution!

Try to flash the stock firmware via odin. You can download it on sammobile's firmware section

Have tried this also! Didn't work! The fon simply doesn't respond at all! M unable to use it!!
Any other solution pls??
Thanks to the bad gplay updates, the software is pretty bugged. Just download the stock firmware and check checksums before flash. Or flash custom rom from the section down below.
Dont know if you already tried but did you do a factory reset after the 4.4.4 update. I know OTA updates shouldn't mess stuff but sometimes they do.

I had flashed CM12 (5.1.1). It all went well - the flashing & all! But, i cudn't make any calls!
I have installed this ROM on my S3 Neo! But, m unable to make any call (From the SIM 1. Haven't used SIM 2 coz of the Audio prob being faced in the SIM 2 as mentioned in the thread). Whenever I make a call (sim 1), it gives an error - PROCESS SYSTEM ISN"T RESPONDING! Do u want to close it?
Even if i Click WAIT, nothing happens, there;s just a green screen being continuously displayed for about 30 seconds and then automatically, it gets back to the HOME SCREEN~!
I am unable to receive any incoming call also! The fon automatically reboots if a call comes and once it restarts, it shows the log in MISSED CALL!
Pls. Help! How to solve this out?
UPDATE :- I flashed CM11 after this problem thinking it might solve the problem but of no use again! Even, after installing CM11, I am unable to make any calls! The screen just goes blank! Maybe an EFS error, restore EFS partition and see if permissions are set correctly

I have a query! Is EFS only meant for IMEI related probs? Just asking becoz my fon is showing the IMEI Number and i am able to send and receive sms but problem is only with the calling! Can't make or receive any call!!

Try with a complete wipe of cache, system, data, dalvik, and internal memory, after that reinstall cm11 rom

I just tried this too but the problem still exists!! I am unable to call!!! What should I do now?
So everytime i fully finish modifying a rom (its happened on more than one) I loose the ability to use my phone to call people i cant hear them they cant hear me doesnt matter if its hooked to bluetooth or not. What is doing this? Ive asked this question before but get no answers, GOD I love this phone but ive had to start from scratch so many times I swear if I have to reflash another rom Im blowing this phone up. Roms ive experienced this on recently was msm extended and resurrection remix. there has to be a cause to this a setting or an app to remove or install, IDK because ive already tried all the basics and anything that google can find. THANKS I hope your able to help me.

I also erased system partition and reflashed firmware still no issue but if i format data phone works again.
What do you mean modfiing the ROM? Does it work when you initially flash it. You need to format data when going from OOS to AOSP. You are doing that initially right? This is a regular 6T and not a TMobile one right?
