Thanks for the results. It's good to have figures but i think we should take benchmarks between roms with a grain of salt.

I have never ran a benchmark on my phone, but from those results looks like everthing is within spitting distance of each other. But I can tell you Syndicate Frozen is much quicker then stock. Transitions and everything just feel more snappy

So I rn bonsai 3.0.1 and everything is vry smooth and quick and I lov the rom but for some reason when I run smartbench I always get a productivity score in the mid 900's and never anything more ad this is wth the cpu set on performance always running at 1.2 ghz my games score is right where it should be very high with the other roms. Why would my productivity score be so low. Is there something I need to do to make this better?

Your kernal and rom combo's..

Hello i am new and looking to learn a little bit.My next question for you all is what kernal/rom combinations do you use? what are your quadrant/linpack scores and what is your battery life like??
I am using
Epic experiance rom
With xtreme kernal
setcpu overclocked to 1.2 conservative
Quadrant 1030
Linpak 9.591
PyRo
Heroic Epic w/ Extreme Kernel
SetCPU 1.2 GHz Interactive
Quadrant = 988 (1200 when oc'd to 1.6GHz)
What do you mea by linpack/quadrant scores? I'm a bit new to rooting and haven't seen anyone talk about that yet
quadrant and linpack are available in the market
quadrant benchmarks cpu,I/O and 3d graphics
linpack behcmarks the cpu and looks at floating point operations per second.
PyRo

Post your Linpack and Quadrant scores

along with setup please.
Figured we might as well record benchmark progress as kernels and ROMs get faster. I'll start off.
Linpack -- 56.264 high, 52-55 consistent
Quadrant -- 2090 high, 2000-2050 consistent
Setup:
bcnice's 1.5 OC kernel
NFX's stock deodexed ROM
SetCPU 245/1516 interactive
Dread's GB theme modified
Thanks to all the devs working on this phone. Can't wait to see what else this thing is capable of.
my scores
Running:
Bcnices 1.8 Gingerbread AOSP kernel
Evervolv Alpha Update 3
Deodexed
Quadrant:
Highest: 2968 , 26-2800 consistently
Linpack:
Highest: 60.XXX, 55-58 consistently
Its also important to note which quadrant version you are using as well. Scores vary widely between the paid and free versions.

This is very true. The test that scored 2968 was run using Quadrant Advanced 1.1.1 Rev 1352
New screenshot is the same system as above but run on the newest version of Quadrant Standard (1.1.7) available.
I get about 2000 on Quadrant at 1.8GHz. How is there such a big difference?

He's on an aosp rom with no sense framework
Sent from my PG06100 using XDA App
this was on regular quadrant OC'd to 1.8 on stock sense ROM and rooted
Is this any good?
If you have Advanced you can go into the Custom run and disable volumetric shadowing for the hallway. Scores will jump by 300-400. How the hell did you get over 4000?

Vellamo Scores

So Qualcomm just released an awesome new benchmarking tool, its quite comprehensive, go check it out:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.quicinc.vellamo&feature=search_result
Curious what kind of scores everyone is getting.
On the bonsai 0.1.6 ROM, OC @ 1.4ghz I am getting 1201
Share yours, along with ROM and OC (if any)!
949 on purely stock GT.
Sent from my badass Galaxy Tab 10.1.
951 Stock
949 TouchWiz (Wifi)
I wonder why there are such drastic differences between stock and TW Quadrant scores (17xx vs 22xx).

This benchmark focuses more on user experience. Quadrant has very low level tests that are surely effected more by slight hardware optimizations. Also I have never seen consistent scores on quadrant (they fluctuate +/- 200) With this I am consistently getting the same score within 5-10, which is nice.
952 - stock, unrooted
1170, bonzai ROM 0.1.3 overclocked to 1.4Ghz.

A New Benchmark App!

A new benchmark app is out that promises
results that cannot be faked like some other apps.
It also gives you more relevant information like browser performance etc.
It works on HC although it switches to portrait automatically.
Check it out, what do you think of it? Post your test results and rom version here on this thread.
The name on market is Vellamo.
Results included, overall result 1174 - rom info in signature at bottom... LOL my galaxy rom hammered the actual galaxy 10.1 although she is clocked at 1.4
Enjoy

Can you try without OC, just to be fair
954 with my stock 4.010.40, stock kernel, stock rom, rooted, some extra apps

Not too shabby with stock, but so far cant see anything better than virtuous galaxy...
MJ-12
My Iconia gets 986 with stock rom 4.010.22
the result does not really matter since some parameters have to be taken.
so let's compare like this
* from 100%, maximum light, maximum sound, wifi close (to avoid any kind of mail notification or else), during 30 minutes playing a game like let say "NFS and everybody's golf"
how much battery you left ?
then let say we can do some kind of math rules to be more FAIR
how compare score, with so difference in term of OC.
guys try to be fair, see the score between stocks, between roms, between oc, between kernel.
run also 3 or 5 test and make an average score
but do not forget the battery, nothing matter more than the lifespan hehehe
stock acer iconia 3.1 @ 1ghz = 950
Score: 1139
Cpu: 1408mhz
Stock plus custom kernel V1.3 20-05 Richard.
Cheers!

Virtuous Xoom v.1.1.2 @ 1.5 GHz
1232
HoneyVillain 1.04 + villain_iconia_kernel_1.1
SetCPU: scaling = Interactive @ 216000-1504000
Changed since previous benchmark:
CPU Master to SetCPU
On demand to Interactive
Min. clock freq. back to 216 MHz (was 312 MHz)
1242
LightSpeed 1.01 + villain_iconia_kernel_2.5
SetCPU: scaling = Ondemand @ 216000-1504000

[Q] CM9 performance i9001

Hi everyone,
I had installed CM9 RC2 by ivendors and it's graet
there is some lag using UI and it's very slow loading cantacts.
How can I increase performance? now i check only 16bit transparentcy.
thanks
Carlo
Use CastagnaIT's kernel and adreno jelly beam drivers from galaxy w.
Smooth UI, all games work well, 4400 antutu score @ 1.4Ghz and smartassV2
Do not use app killers and manual kill only aps that you don't use often.
Good luck and Pm if you need links.
Sent from my GT-I9001 using xda app-developers app
Invendor RC3 Release, it is recommended
benchmark results
thank you everyone.
I try different setting to find best performance.
the results of my benchmark are shown below ( 16bit transparentcy checked ):
Invendor rc3.1
4028 antutu score
2446 Quadrant Standard score
Invendor rc3.1 + CastagnaIT Kernel v6.3 @ 1.4Ghz and smartassV2
4175 antutu score
2538 Quadrant Standard score
Invendor rc3.1 + CastagnaIT Kernel v6.3 @ 1.4Ghz and smartassV2 + JB Adreno libs
4127 antutu score
2651 Quadrant Standard score
bye
Frankly speaking i don't see any problem with low performance slow device etc...
Updated to RC3 yesterday and I'm glad to have it.
