[Q] Difference between Kyrillos and Indroid (both v3.0)

Can anyone please post the difference between Kyrillos 3.0 and Indroid 3.0???
I don't want to know which one is better as a matter of fact that personal opinions vary by personal needs.
Just want to know the key/major differences in both.

Kyrillos looks like Gingerbread.
InDroid looks like Honeycomb.
What are the difference??
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=android+gingerbread+theme
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=android+honeycomb+theme
well another major difference is the the kernel where in indroid there is no pre given overclocked kernel which you have to flash later after flashing it
Kyrillos one has already inbuilt that.... and its JIT enabledd I suppose
Pretty much the same ...
Kyrillos is slightly faster from what i noticed ...
But isn't the quadrant score for indroid a little higher?

How is indroid working. I am on froyo with Galaxy 3. Should I flash with indroid? Moreover would there be any problem in getting back to stock froyo, if required for warranty reasons

Dear Sir.
I request you to develope a gingerbread or cynogen based rom for galaxy3apollo (gt-i5801}.
If wildfire can get a gingerbread so should galaxy 3, but the official support for it is hopeless. So we got no choice but to arrange for it. Plz, consider such an initiative , I want to help but I'm a complete noob (hope u can understand)
Thank you
hey can anyone tell me how to install apps on memory card????plz my internal memory is very low...

What is the most stable and fast rom ?

I wanna know which rom is the best for the I5801 or I5800...the fastest, without lag an co.
Maybe an old version of a custom rom or another don't know !
What are you thinking about that ?
I use and will use lestatious. But install only non bleeding edge 2.2 kernel. BE heats battery.
Convert to ext4,4,2.
Sent from my GT-I5800 using Tapatalk
Yeah Lestatious are great but no update since a longtime so they are maybe outdated against kyrillos's roms (but they are little bit buggy)
Wait and see

You can install Kyrillos rom with fugumod 2.2 its fast and stable.

well thankx for trying
Lestatious is the best and stable rom
you can flash it with new Fugumod 2.4 beta 3 fix 1
lestatious 1.9 is the best from what i have tried, with 2.2 fugumod, 2.4 is stil beta so it has some bugs, most noticable battery drain
Yeah i use it now was my favorite and it's alwais the best
Sent from my I5801 using lestatious 1.9 JIT and O/c 1 Ghz
I run Kyrillos Rom 5.3 with fugumod 2.2 non OC
Its so stable, no lags, no freezes, battery lasts 3 days when normal use.
For me its the best rom, goin to flash 5.5 for absolute performance

@hakkun, a tip: When you flash v5.5, in setcpu, use the "ondemand" scaling. The battery will last more
Indroid 4.1 with fugmod 2.2 kernel is stable and fast.

[Q] InDroid 4.3 vs Kyrillos' rom

Hi, please, can you say me, what are biggest diferences between this 2 roms? Thank you for your questions
well i prefere indroid becouse of the theme changer and font changer. i don't think kyrillos has these for the rest there are not much diffrences i think
Thank you for your answer. Please, can you write me, which are apllications in Kyrillos' rom 5.4 ? Do you know how to delete aplications included in rom? In InDroid, there are some apps which are not good for me and I want to remove them
maybe u can use the thanks buttonyes, u can with root explorer. go to system/app and delete the apps u don't like i deleted like 7 apps in indroid if u wanna know stock apps, read kyrillos thread u can try both if u like. http://jaxov.com/2010/09/how-to-remove-stock-default-android-apps-easily/

Kyrillos v5.6 work great for me
I use Kyrillos' ROM along with the Fugumod 2.2 Bleeding Edge kernel. Overclocked to 1.3GHz. Works great for me
I'm yet to check out Indroid. I just don't see it getting updated as frequently as Kyrillos' ROM. Once that happens, maybe I'll give it a shot.

its got almost no bug. So frequent update is not required.
If any thing gets outdated i surely will update it

I use Kyrillos 7, but seems my phone is hanging all the time when it reboots.
Could you please tell me

- what version?
- what are the pro?
- what are the con? (what functions do NOT work?)
- how is speed?
- how is memory management?
Sorry to waste one reply...but this is not related to development, and should be asked in the general question....

thx.
ok, but it would be nice to see what mod is most succesfull, right?
kyrillos is good for me so far~
Im using stock jpd overclocked to 1400mhz with g3mod extreme and rooted. Its very quick

Kyrillos is most popular. I'm usiong v7.0. Try flashing a different kernel such as G3Mod Ultimate v1.5.
Your phone may not like the fugumod kernel for some reason so flash G3 mod since its one of the most popular and your phone should run smoother.
Im using Kyrillos rom v7 with G3 Mod 1.5.1 Ultimate kernel. It working like a charm, smooth like womans legs and fast like a rocket.

none go for 1.5.1 or 1.5.0 for the moments 1.5.2 has decreased voltage which gives freezes
thanks a lot. should I factory reset before I flash?

I tried changing the zImage in the Flash_this_as_one-package.tar

I'm thinking of installing the Destiny now...?
Any comments?

First, flash Kyrillos ROM, then do a partition with CWM (if You want), then flash a kernel.

Non-oc kernel on Oc rom

Hi I recently downloaded kyararom 5.0 Oc version.I actually do not like to mess up with the cpu settings. The thing I wanted to know is that if I flash it with g3mod 2.2 non-oc over it would it function as an non-oc rom or I have to download the non-oc version of kyararom 5.0 and one more question is it necessary to partion my sd card if I install this rom.
Any help on this would be highly appreciated .
Thanks in advance

There is nothing like OC-ROM.........
There is only a thing called OC-Kernel.....
The ROM is called OC version because it uses an OC-kernel.....if you use a non-OC kernel on that then it'll be a non-OC ROM dats it....
Flash any kernel if you want...there is no problem....
Hope You are clear Now...

you can flash non-oc kernel over Kyorarom and it will be non-oc...partitioning sdcard is optional..if you don't you'll have around 95mb internal free...if you do you'll have around 152mb free on internal...
btw: you could ask in Kyorarom threads....and not opening a new thread
