Has anyone noticed any issues running USSD codes or applications based on background USSD on any Android builds? I'm running the latest AmeriCanAndroid AOSP HD2 GB233 CM7 build by Cope N Warren but noticed USSD was not working as expected when a certain SIM menu application provided by my network would not work until I changed the SIM to another phone.
Any workarounds to have USSD working well on android.
Device specifics:
HTC HD2, booting from MAGLDR,
Android version: 2.3.3
Baseband version: 15.40.50.07U_2.10.50.28_2
Mod version: cope & warrenb present: AmeriCanAndroid GB233 CyanogenMod7 HTC LEO031411
First, I'm from Switzerland and my USSD codes work like they should. What did you try to check? Your balance? Maybe it depends on your provider..
I'm trying to use a mobile money pay option provided by my operator. It's definitely the android with a problem (this menu is availed via SIM Toolkit application), because once I put my SIM in any other phone, it works well.

i have a dual sim adapter and i can change sim with the icon that usually is assigned to operator services. it worked with stock rom, but i can't change sim with CM 6.1. it recognize only the first sim.
could be a kernel problem?

no, i didn't change kernel, but i read that is a common cm problem for all the devices, so i decided to write here.
can i try with stock kernel by blayo?
Try posting in Cyanogen Mod forums, you will probably have better luck there

The phone didn't even knew it's own number and it couldn't read/write SIM contacts nor messages.

you think the only way is install blayo's froyo rom?
Ok I am running Froyo 2.2 v3 I can run awhile while on cellular data. After awhile it freezes and I need to cycle the network (turn off and then on). My question is, is there a fix for this or is there a better sd build to run other that froyo? And how can I enable the tethering mode on this build? I have the stock rom I am assuming on my build do I need to update the rom? I guess am looking for a good build from someone who is running a hd2 and the links to and instruction for downloading. If have not guessed i am a noob to this.
Hi, I just got my Atrix today and unlocked it, installed CWM and rooted the Stock ROM.
What I would like is a Motorola ROM based on Android 2.3.1 with all the fancy Motorolla stuff.
Is there one available that works for my Atrix?

At the moment my Atrix is at a Motorola Partner, because it had the random-reboot bug
But I think I'll install HomeBase again.

Yesterday I switched from ParnoidAndroid 4.6 BETA4 (pa_d802-4.6-BETA4-20141013.zip) to an Android 5.0 rom for testing.
After several problems and crashes I decided to switch back to PA.
I downloaded pa_d802-4.6-BETA5-20141023.zip, the newest version for the d802.
But unfortunately the phone doesn't recognize the sim card after this.
I've no connection to my provider, only WiFi works.
I updated to the latest baseband, linked in the thread, but the problem still exists.
What could cause the problem, and how could I solve it?

Hello guys,
Ever since I updated to temasek's version 3.6 and later or the CM12 for the Note 3 LTE, I have lost the data connectivity as well the ability to make and receive phone calls since it is not detecting the sim card.
So far, all versions after 3.5 has resulted in the same behavior so I keep reverting back to version 3.5 since that is the latest version that allows my phone to work properly.
Does anyone know what could be the problem here?
Am i doing something wrong? Should i updated from one version to the next one or can i jump from say version 3.5 to version 5.4?
