dualboot wm/android on HD2

Hi guys, I bought a hd2 ... I update it on the radio and I installed a rom
WM cooked ...
I would like to install android without deleting WM ....
you can install a dualboot?
Once everything is installed, removing the microSD wm starts normally?

You can't install it in another way :/

Non ci sono altri modi per installarlo, tutte le rom partono da SD lanciate da windows, non c'è modo di togliere WM ad oggi (e non serve neanche togliere la SD, dato che android lo devi lanciare esplicitamente da WM)

You can install Android on the SD card. Currently there is no NAND Rom (No Android rom that is installed to the phone's internal mamory).
You can run WM or boot from WM into Android. After this is working, removing the SD card means WM only.
Read the threads and do the research. I spent hours reading different posts and threads to learn how to do this.

Ciao a tutti, ho un touchpro2 marchiato Tim con winmobile 6.1 (non lo aggiorno per non invalidare la garanzia).... quindi non ho sense ma touchflo3d.
Ho scaricato alcuni temi nuovi, ma sono dei cab che, pur installati, non vanno a modifcare proprio nulla... esiste un programma per farlo manulamente ?
Go provato alcuni programmi ma ho visto che vanno solo sul Diamond... sapete aiutarmi?

after installing your theme,you should go to setting-home and select your new theme

looks to me like you are reffering to missing HardSPL for HDMini,
that ROMs cooking/porting would be much more easier and releases
will be much more stable unlike current situation when using SSPL.

Mate, use the search! If that won't give you enough information, there are plenty of people who want to give you a helping hand... but first do some research yourself...

I speak english (a bit! ) because I'm italian, so: se c'è qualche italiano che ne sa parecchio di sta roba e volesse dare una mano ne sarei infinitamente grato! L'Avin Avant II è un navigatore Andorid, io e Bmwiesel ce l'abbiamo su BMW Serie 3 E46, lui 318 ed io 330ci (ma sono tutti uguali, è giusto per dare un po' di dettagli ), e saremmo disponibili a fare da tester diciamo. Ad ora il dispositivo ha potenziali enormi a livello hardware non sfruttate, siccome ha si Android ma una vecchia versione, e ci starebbe bene una bella rom cucinata attuale, con miglioramenti dell funzionalità. Se servono video o simili li possiamo fare. Io e lui siamo amici da e46fanatics.com, e li mi ha segnalato questo forum, in particolare le doti di @sabruri1 che sarebbe italiano! Un grandissimo da quel che ho capito!
PS:
Bmwiesel is german, so if someone talk in german we have 3 languages available!

I don't think you can update that easily to another Android version like 4.4.4, If that was the case, you got to see a lot of Lollipop devices and that's not the case. And don't forget the MCU

Ok thank you about your advise. Anyway, is possibile load a new modded software? Because we need different function blocked now (1 o of 100 example: audio volume freex during reverse, and that's annoying, becuse sw blocks it totally, + and - too, so we can't reduce it too).
What means "MCU"?

About Avin Avant II? If yes, is a good product, but it needs better WiFi, and new sw to improve its capacities.

bump. the hardware itself is okay but the software/rom definitely needs improvement. i've been looking for quite a while and i can't find anything.
the MCU is oddly listed within the headunit as: CA03-N043-LT01-A3-R0.9.57S
i can't make heads or tails of which MCU is similar to it.
any help would be appreciated? Would malaysk be able to create a new rom for us with the avant2?

I would also be interested in new Android OS if possible for the Avin Avant 2. Perhaps we can reach out to Avin and inquire about what info is needed about the MCU?
I find the current 4.1.1 to run really slow on the unit, perhaps if we could take it up to Marshmallow, that could help with better memory handling?
Couldn't the core OS be updated while keeping the rest of the non modifiable stuff, drivers, etc as it?
