Advice about ROMs on italian P4350

Hallo, I am the (fortunate ?) owner of an italian P4350 (WM5 stock, unblemished).
While marvelling at the multitude of options for modding, I don't fully understand the details of flashing, and I worry that things may not go as expected if I try to use any random cooked ROM.
Hence my query: are there any fellow italian P4350 users who have gone successfully through all the paces and which wouldn't mind to maybe give me 5 minutes over an IM or via PMs to compare software versions and clear some doubts ?

Ciao, sono il (fortunato ?) possessore di un P4350 italiano (comprato su ciao.it, con WM5).
Se da una parte trovo molto interessante la possibilità di provare mod e ROM differenti, dall'altra mi preoccupo che qualcosa vada storto (un prerequisito mancato, una versione del software inadeguata, o che so io, non sarebbe la prima volta che uso software/hardware localizzato IT che poi si rivela incompatibile con alcune funzioni disponibili world-wide).
Da qui il quesito: c'è qualche anima pia che abbia già flashato con successo e che potrebbe dedicarmi 5 minuti su un IM o via PM per chiarire qualche dubbio ?

In your last line you highlight in a way what my worries are, viz, that htc italy may use "something" (I have no idea what, or I wouldn't worry) different in the italian herald from its overseas counterpart. I am very probably wasting my Worry Points, but you never know. Hence my quest for someone with the same exact phone who's already undergone all the flashing.
About italian roms, there's the italian WM6 rom on the htc site.

Error 270 and ROM HTC Advantage 7500 athena 100

Help me, please, those who have skills to help me step. I recently bought a HTC 7500 Athena avantage 100, used.When turned I saw that the ROM was english.Think that works like a desktop PC I downloaded some ROM from the Internet, and I found a ROM that ended with "Michy." From that moment has been my ruin! When I turn on my handheld htc appears written on a white background and stand still.To load the ROM gives me error 270, image file is corrupt etc etc.In the boot, I tried to reboot, reset but ... nothing! I read 6 thousand forums, including this one, but it seems that the most accomplished is indicated xda develop ... but in English imate !!!!!!!! I tried, nothing, I wanted to try soft or hard SPL and find nothing suitable on the network right in mio.Considerate do not understand anything about handhelds, no nothing, and for me things like ROM ... RUU are Arabic (I just realized that ROM is the operating system). I can not take it to service center, I plucked alive I'm sure ... please help me ... even in pvt (email: [email protected]). Help me really: I have no CD or docking station, no nothing ... if you need to leave my well cell.Ho have also spent money on the site rapidshare but ... nothing! I paid with paypal in a wm Italian ... but nothing came to 100 reboots and gives me error 270. SPL starts with my 1.0 and I do not have the original ROM ... I do not know what to do. when I try to do the upgrade, in that says "From Image Version" do not see anything! It is not synchronized with more activesync.Sono own pieces ... I dreamed of using it and instead.

Append Hard SPL I downloaded several from this site, but maybe not find one to my palmare.I want even know where I can find a ROM cooked and all the programs fit for my PDA, including a possible guida.cusate for my English but I'm using the internet to translate.The service center has asked me 90 euros for the repair ... I could cry.

The details you have given dont really describe the exact problem, try and take some time to translate the exact problem and what you did to create it, I understand you dont speak english, maybe you can find someone on xda who speaks your lanuage and can help you translate.

Ok,scrivo nella mia lingua:Ho acquistato su internet un HTC Advantage athena 100 ad un ottimo prezzo.Quando mi è arrivato a casa l'ho acceso subitissimo per iniziare ad utilizzarlo,ma mi sono accorto che era in inglese.Ignaro ed inesperto di palmari mi sono avventurato su internet ed ho scaricato una ROM in italiano c.d. "cucinata" fatta da un certo "micky".Da allora il palmare mi si blocca all'accensione sulla scritta HTC su sfondo bianco.La cosa peggiore è che non mi riconosce più activesync.Entro nel boot e mi compaiono le 4 linee orizzontali bianca,rossa,blu e verde,e ci sono i dati,credo,del palmare SPL 1.10 e qualcos'altro,SL v.1.0 e poi due volte la scritta AThe 100.Ho provato vari programmi quali,ad es.,mitty (se l'ho scritto giusto),ho provato con il mcaddress,con altre rom.Vorrei provare con l'Hard SPL o Soft SPL ma su internet non trovo nessuno di questi programmi adatti al mio palmare (li trovo solo per il diamond o un certo HTC 3600).Quando provo ad installare la ROM,arrivato a 100% mi si riavvia e mi da "Error 270,file imegine is corrupt".La cosa peggiore,credo,è che quando provo ad installare la ROM dal BOOT,nella schermata inziale quando mi dice che sta aggiornando "From Image…To Image" mentre nella parte "To Image…"mi da sempre qualcosa (anche se poi si riavvia),nella parte "From Image" non dice e non da niente.L'ho portato al centro assistenza ma mi hanno chiesto 90 euro oltre 18 di cauzione,ed ho rifiutato il preventivo.Credo sia un problema semplice,si tratta di sbloccarlo ed aggiornarlo,per questo non voglio spenderci altri soldi,ma non ne sono capace…non è un normale PC e ci vuole qualcuno di pratico.Ho provato a scrivere il problema su vari forum ma nessuno o capisce o mi risponde.Spero di essere stato chiaro nella descrizione del mio problema,e spero davvero di avere una risposta.Adesso il palmare ce l'ha un mio amico ingegnere informatico,spero riesca a sbloccarlo,ma siccome sono 3 giorni che non si fa sentire sono sicuro che la cosa è più complicata di quel che pensavo.Grazie in anticipo a chi mi risponderà e,se il problema sarà risolto,non ho problemi a fare una donazione.Grazie ancora e a presto.

Ciao a tutti, ho un touchpro2 marchiato Tim con winmobile 6.1 (non lo aggiorno per non invalidare la garanzia).... quindi non ho sense ma touchflo3d.
Ho scaricato alcuni temi nuovi, ma sono dei cab che, pur installati, non vanno a modifcare proprio nulla... esiste un programma per farlo manulamente ?
Go provato alcuni programmi ma ho visto che vanno solo sul Diamond... sapete aiutarmi?

i'd like to change themes, but when i install the cabs with the themes it doesn't change nothing on it... there's a applications that makes you able to use that themes?

after installing your theme,you should go to setting-home and select your new theme

menu start-impostazioni-home,here you can see your installed themes and select them.

Camera in android works badly ?

Hello,
the camera in android works very bad.
1. he draws foto' s reversed
2. there too much blue colour sits in the camera (blauw is red?)
(on winmo the camera works perfectly)
do you have this also?

These are known problems. Please read the posts in the developer section for more information. There isn't a fix for it yet.

Mine is also Italian HTC HD Mini, but I haven't problem of Camera.
The Only Problem I have is the Android is too slow and boots Android about 33 Minutes

you can't download anything from market at the moment as sd card is not write enabled...
