No. The gapps no longer contain those apps. Its been minimalized. You have to download maps/navigation from the market. It does get updated periodically, but not in sync with nightlys.

Flashed CM7-- can't download

I rooted my aria and flashed cm7. Love the look and feel of it so far. The only problem I've ran into is that I can't download some things, (games,PDF, videos, apk )both in market and web. Is there some settings I need to change.
Thanks for any help

Ok I figured out the web downloads, needed more space on sdcard. I still can't download some apps from the market.

If you are in the US on ATT, go to the Market and try downloading "Market Access". Use it to set your provider to T-Mobile US.

Are they showing up and you can't download? Or are they not appearing at all?
Sent from my cm7 Aria.
They start but then disappear. I can pull the notification bar and watch them show up for a brief sec. That's it.

I think he meant "market enabler". But that's for fooling the market so you can download apps that otherwise wouldn't show up for you. Its a neat app but not related to your problem if its just the download problem.
Try this: menu>settings>applications>manage applications>all>market. Clear cache and clear data. See if that helps.

I'm not sure that it's his problem, but I did mean Market Access. It's an improvment on Market Enabler and AD Free. It's on this site, not the Market.

Thanks but that didn't work either. I'm waiting on a 32gb SD card so I can transfer all my apps. Then I'll wipe and reflash and see what happens. Thanks for the help I'll. Post an update on the out come.

Try this: menu>settings>applications>Running Services>all>Google Services Framework. Clear Data and Force Stop if it doesn't automatically. Then Reboot and see if it worked
I wiped dalvik, and formatted and reflashed cm7 again with Google add-on. And now I can download the apps I wasn't able to.

Are you running stock or custom? If it's custom, just try to flash this gapps: http://goo.im/devs/paranoidandroid/roms/gapps/pa_gapps-full-4.2-20130410-signed.zip
It comes with all the google application installed.
(Don't forget to wipe cache/dalvik cache before installing.)

Is possible to flash then with slimbean?
It's an official Gapps so yes! I did used it on PAC ROM earlier this morning, had no problems.

But why cant i download these apps via playstore?
Maybe caused by a problem when flashing your gapps package.

Google now disappeared

After a clean install of the latest build of PAC from Vertigo (or so i believe, but it might have been there after the install but i didnt use it until today) google now has disappeared.

The google search app is installed through play store and is up to date. The toggle to enable google now is not there whatever i try.
I have tried unistalling and re-installing, reseting its data, clearing the cache, wipeing data through titanium backup, wiping Cache's through recovery etc. nothing seems to work for me.
Any help appreciated.

^ You should try this.
Some countries don't have support for Google Now. Set your language to English (United States).
I've installed it from the play store and I've have no problems with Google Now.
I'm up to date with version 2.7.9.789824.arm if that helps you.
I'll upload my apk if u need it.

Google now was working prior to update.
It is fixed now. I installed 2.6.xxxxx. it Worked and then updated to latest and it still works. Still cannot see what was wrong other than bad coding/implementation.

Flash the Google-Apps then use Play Store to install Facebook. Google Maps is a part of the GApps.
other app store
Try downloading the .apk file from the internet ex. Facebook.apk or try other app store like apptoide or amazon store

I'd avoid random websites that host apps. Amazon Appstore is really good, though, if you don't want to use GApps packages.
Perhaps installing gapps first then extracting the apk
