Problem is when I take a photo. Photo appears to be reddish in the center and greenish on the edges. Same with movies. The lens are clear. Is there any way to fix this??
what version of Android are you running?
have you dropped your phone?
Did you try to reflash the firmware?

Default and camera360. On both problem exists
U better go to your operator and repair it, seems to be a hardware issue...
wow i never heard of that one before, but i did read something about that with the htc hd 2
Can't go to operator. It is a second hand phone. I have no documents for it. But it seems the problem have gone. I think it could be caused by low temperature. I'll check and post results.

So quick question XDA. I noticed on my HD2 running FroyoStone 3.2 the pixel quality is bad...I wouldn't even say "pixel" cause its just the textures on some things. I took a screenshot of my phone to show you what im talking about but it showed up better quality then it actually is... Confusing right? Well take a look.

The shaded black part behind "Speak now" is actually good quality when i took a screen shot...even though thats not what I see?
This picture was taking with my camera

This is what I see, Notice how the shading or the black part behind where it says "Speak now" is really bad quality.
Thats not the only thing that has bad quality. When I receive picture messages all the pictures are really bad quality. Also the pictures set for each one my contacts are bad quality. Is this something I can fix? Please and thank you.
If you really see what we can see on the pictures, then a a fix is available.
You only have to wear your glasses
The pictures are really bad. Maybe you should take a look in the manual of the camera and search for "focus" or "autofocus"

Compare the two images. The first one is what i see on my phone when i use it. The second picture is what it should look like.
Also I took the first picture with my moms phone, i sent it to my HD2 without changing the file size. When I received it on my phone it was sent as a 4 KB file and which is a really small size. It does this to EVERY picture I receive. Yet its only when im running android (FroyoStone 3.2)
For example...

I think I worked out what you're saying OP. I just checked mine and it's exactly the same. It's probably due to the 65k colour screen as opposed to 16million colour screens most phones have these days. It's nothing to worry about.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay well is there a way to fix the file size, cause every picture i receive is really small and blurry.

That's what we think. I don't think anybody has been able to prove/disprove that the HD2's screen is only capable of 65k colors; it could just be a WM limitation, and the devs have yet to 'unlock' the 16mil colors using Android. (Of course, I could be wrong, but like I said there's no proof.)
The problem is the color gradient -- it's easy to detect the low quality of the images due to the gray gradient.
Concerning the MMS sizing, I think I encountered a fix for that, but I haven't tried it. I can't help you look for it now because the sub-forum search is down.

Okay well i only get low quality pictures when im using andriod, if im just running winmo its fine. So do I need to get this rom? I've never changed roms before, i don't even know how to do it.
I was wondering if its possible to dim the screen when in camera mode. I would really like it to be off but if i could get it to dim that would be great. Any suggestions?
Also, is there a way to get a sport burst on here?
Thanks in advance guys and thanks for answering all my questions over the years...
I don't think that is possible. I haven't seen or heard anybody mention anything about dimming the screen while using the camera. But for your other question there are some roms that have something like sports burst. If I'm not mistaken the doubleshot Rom has it but I could be wrong.

In most states it is illegal to remove screen lighting or sounds on mobile cameras such as cell phones and pocket cameras.
the do this so you cannot take close up pictures of people that do not want you photographing them.

The stock has a setting for shutter sound doesn't it? And can't you manually dim down the screen? Not off but low. Cyanogen has a screen color temp battery saving feature that would override any software to very dark.

I have a problem with camera ... My pictures is so ugly . It's like a 2mp camera . What can i do ?
All settings are on high , it's on 5MP in settings ... I don't know what to do . Please help .
Are you rooted yet? Some custom roms have a few tweaks to the camera settings but without s-off (i think) and root, you won't be able to use them and are stuck with either stock camera or an app from the market.

Plus, pics viewed on your phone from your phone always look shabby but should look better when viewed and a larger screen resolution i.e on your p.c

Solution
I've seen a whole lot of HTC Wildfires with the same problem (I work as a cell phones dealer), and virtually ALL OF THEM had the same cause of that problem, and that is: scratched lenses. But, don't panic. You can solve this for free. The tools for solving this are most probably in your toilet. Don't do any rooting or something else that can be hazardous to your phone before you try this:
1. Take some of the tooth paste using a tooth pick and put it on the lens of your phone. (tooth paste is incredibly good for a glass polishing)
2. Take a toilet paper and polish the lens with it.
3. That's it.
It may seem funny but I'm not kidding you, this thing works. Even though lens may seem like they are not scratched, but there actually are a lot of little scratches that are extremely hard to notice.

Hi there,
I recently bought an used milestone 2. I discoverd that the camera is taking blurry pictures. It seems like that the auto focus is waaay out of focus. I read blogs and solutions for a while now before posting this tread, but without succes. When I bought the phone there was miui installed on it. I figured out that it could be an bug, so I flashed to the stock rom, however, the camera still takes blurry pictures. I have tried almost every possible settings in the camera, downloaded various camera apps, flashed it to the stock rom, but the camera still takes blurry pictures.
Anyone any idea how to fix this ? I have gone through the forum, without any success.
Has anyone got any idea?

No, I dont think so. The handset is in good condition and everything works just fine. The camera is just way out of focus!

If you got stock firmware and did a full wipe data/cache with factory reset, I'd say it's not a software problem, but I'm no expert, let's hope someone comes up with a solution!
I do have the same problem.. Someone told me MS2 users are used to that kind of Problem and it is a hardware bug that happens a lot. You need to get the device repaired to have the camera working again..
(Sorry for bad english)

just got my note 3 today and snapped quite a few pictures to test out the camera but I haven't come across this issue at all. hopefully it theres not something wrong with your cam.
It's because the sensor is crap in low and fluorescent light. Searching the Note 3 forum for distortion lines gives you plenty of threads about this.

This. The camera is virtually useless in low light condition. Heard they use Sony sensor this time. True? Not sure. But the fact remains that the camera is rubbish.

True. It's Sony. I remember seeing that somewhere, but I can't for the life of me remember where. It was on the phone, though.
