[Q] Ringtone reset after reboot - myTouch 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
Running stock ROM on myTouch 4g. Rooted with GFree.
After every reboot it tends to lost the default ringtone I have set for the phone. Its a custom MP3 ringtone, and after the reboot it resets to some stock default ringtone.
Anyone else saw this and have a solution?

Use VISIONary, never had a problem what-so-ever with it.

No more callin after flash

Hello all,
I just flasmy 32B with different ROM with kernel 2.1 or 2.2, and each time, after reboot, all call in go directly into my voicebox. My phone is not ringing anymore. Flash process is done without any issue.
After a flash, does some option must be set to get call in ?
thanks for you help.

NO sounds

hy guys
yesterday after uninstalling two games from my note(after a 1\2 an hour) i received a call and i couldn't hear the ringtone(while i could hear the voice in the speaker) i tried also sms, music, games, but nothing...my Samung was mute...i reinstalled kl7 stock rom and after that the previous KKA (the newest rom for italy) but nothing again...
my galaxy note was rooted + CWM and i tried to wipe data cache and so on but nothing again...
now a question,is it possible that uninstalling tho games they deleted something important in the note?
and is it possible that i flashed two new roms, but i flashed them without making a factory reset and i continue to have the error that stopped "singing"my Note?
thank you all for your answers!!!
The ringtone and alarm sounds problem could be because you have set a custom ringtone BUT you forget to set it back after a ROM update/change.
IF you have a custom ringtone it gets "lost" sometimes after firmware change/update so remember/try to set it back and test if it works.
If you only use system ringtone it probably come from antother things but I doubt it come from the uninstallation of an apk.
Godd luck

The WhatsApp clock error

Can someone please suggest a ROM that won't give me the WhatsApp time error? FIVE roms I have tried all suffer from this "issue". I know it's a 'known bug" but why? It's it really so hard to fix a time issue?
My clock even resets itself throughout the day.
What should I look out for so not to get this issue again?
Thanks.
Stock?
WhatsApp works fine this end, on stock latest Lollipop
I don't want just 'stock' though. I want a rom that's got features and has been debloated. I'd I wanted stock I wouldn't have rooted my phone.
the problem isn't your rom
there's something wrong with the time_daemon
on a rooted device, turn auto sync time to provider setting off
make a copy of time_daemon from system/bin
reboot your device and set the correct time
then delete time_daemon and reboot
you will have to reboot a couple of times
turn auto sync on again, reboot once more, put time_daemon back in system/bin and reboot one last time
should be fixed now
at least - it worked for me

[Q] Wallpaper Auto Resets

Hi,
I'm on stock unrooted lolipop.
After updating to lolipop, my wallpaper resets back to the stock blue one when my phone is under a heavy load. Can anyone help? It's really annoying not being able to have a custom wallpaper without it resetting.
Thanks all, Any help would be really appreciated.
Did you factory reset after the update? It sounds like something may be "out of place" from the update. This is typically step 1 for any strange issues.
I can't tell you a reason for the symptoms but this should fix it.
Curiosity question, are the wallpapers local or on your external card?

none sticking ringtones

I have updated to the latest OxygenOS and I think since then I haven't been able to make a custom ringtone or notification tone stick.
I 1st noticed then when I got a phone call today and it was the stock oneplus tone. Tried to change it but it would still use the same tone.
I tried booting into safe mode but still the same issue.
I select a custom tone, phone rings stock tone and sets it back to stock.
Anyone else with this problem? I don't want to flash back to previous OxygenOS as I will loose my data?
Thanks
