Yes.
It is possible to operate all functions of your HD2 when synced in a cradle or via USB by using MyMobiler 1.25
I haven't tried it whilst synced over bluetooth and I'm not sure about it working over wi-fi.
does it work plzzz ??
will this let me use the laptop's speaker and microphone to talk, instead of phone's?

Would you like me to come round your house, download and install MyMobiler and test it out for you ?

It's just that nobody really has it working. These guys got the JasJar to work:

There must be something to be learned from their experience... My PDA2K works through USB on Windows, but on Mac, I have no luck. I can use bluetooth to make the phone connect to GPRS, but OSX never realizes the connection was successful and just sits there saying "Connecting..." The "au cdmaOne Bluetooth adapter" script included with OSX seems to be really close...

the wm2003 can use Bluetooth modem or usb cable while the BA in it's cradle
either will work
that or flash it to one of the wm6 roms and use WifiRouter ( that's what i do much easier to use then extra drivers and settings on teh PC )

Is there any way to use the HD as a disk drive and use TOMTOM at the same time?
I have a USB car stereo that I connect to my HD to play my mp3's and charge it, but would also like to use TomTom on it at the same time.
Thanks.
No, once the HD is setup as a flash disk then the HD itself can not see the SD card.

Thanks Dave.
Oh well thats a shame, I was hoping there might have been a hack or trick to make it do both.
cant you do this if you have "ActiveSync" as the connection type?

You can, but for larger file transfers the activesync connection is a bit slow.

I am not sure if my USB car stereo will recongnise the SD Card if I use the Active Sync setting, I am leaving work now, so will try when I get home and let you know.
If it does I will be a very happy chappy.
lol! - came across this same issue yesterday mate!.
I have a Pioneer FH-P80BT, which I have connected via bluetooth to my HD. I only use the USB port for charging the HD, but quickly realised problems were due to occur when Tom Tom couldn't find my maps whilst it was plugged in.
I'm hoping I can be lucky though and setup the HD to Activesync mode which should allow the HD to charge - The stereo also has bluetooth audio streaming so I should be able to use that whilst I am using Tom Tom and charging at the same time......will report back tommorow, thanks for reminding me!
Hi!
im just wondering if there is a possibility to use my HTC Touch Diamond as a GPS dongle to my Macbook?
Anyone know if there is a app for that or something?

Solution! Further way down
Okey guys!
it was a long time since i wrote here, but i actually solved the problem!
as mr-pill recommended i used Franson GpsGate
I installed the program with the .CAB to my memmorycard not the internal storage.
after installation i went through the wizard and i chose only internal GPS not garmin or bluetooth.
After that you got the option how you whant to sync with the other units, i choose bluetooth, make sure you have you phone paired with you macbook.
the in you program hope for that it supports bluetooth GPS.
and your done!

how shall i connect my device to my macbook? Bluetooth? USB cable?
Whan i choose BT it just says that BT not enabled even if it is :S
Very strange? IF USB shall i take Storage och Active Sync?
Keep us posted, I want to do the same thing except with Windows XP. If you do get it figured out would you mind posting how you did it? Thank you in advance
The only advice I can give you is: If doing via bluetooth you need to make sure the program is looking at the correct COM port otherwise it will never "see" the gps.

I had some fun with GPS2Blue yesterday, but finally got it working. As well as getting all programs to look at the right port, you need to create an incoming bluetooth serial port on the phone for it to work - you can easily create an incoming port on the PC easily (you'd expect to want your phone to access services on the PC, not the other way round, right?), but as I understand it's not quite so easy on the phone.
Managed to find these instructions and got it working perfectly: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=499896&highlight=gps2blue
EDIT: This will work for all GPS applications that uses a serial GPS receiver, not just those that explicitly support bluetooth receivers (I got hold of some very old free software and it works fine). The bluetooth linkis handled by Windows/MacOS and all the app sees is a serial port.
