What wanted to comment on you is that Samsung has liberated the source code of the Galaxy 3 and the port of the famous ROM CyanogenMod for our Galaxy 3 is more that feasible, it is a great telephone and there can take advantage much of him, in spite of being of average range.
What I ask you is that you register in Cyaonogen's forum, go tothis category and ask for the port.
If someone doesn't know what is CyanogenMod, here you have information.
Thank you very much to all and credit if this goes out forward.
PD: Sorry for my bad english, I'm spanish.

Believe me, if I'd know how, I'd have started already. And so would anybody here.
cyanogen mod have provided their source codes through githubs...
you can go and google it, and can build cyanogen mod on your own..
i dont think they would ever make it.....
The G5 port is already underway, hopefully motafoca will port it for the G3

yeah im using the alpha 5 fix 1 mod atm, i love it. there is a thread, for anyone interested, on here how to do it and stuff. i really love this rom, totally usable, sometimes hangs a few seconds and bit buggy, but hey thats why its for testing . cant wait for beta!
can u pls tell me how to install cyanogen mod alpha 5 fix1 in my galaxy 3
procedure is the same as always, downlaoding rom, downloading odin, downloading drivers, flashing with odin, than wipe data in cwm recovery, reboot and you're done.

Guys Dont think its miui based Rom or its jus Miui...!! i can assure its Totally different UI.. This Rom is called presently as DX ROM or DianXin Rom...
i know you guys may think it looks like MIUI , but i asure you it’s totally different ROM nor MIUI-based modification.
As with MIUI, it’s based in Asia, so the ROMs available to try currently still have some translation to go through and are only available on a couple of devices. Namely, the GSM and CDMA versions of the Samsung Galaxy S.
The people who are working on it currently are the aforementioned qtwrk on the GSM model and XDA Senior Member swamp goblin, who ported it to the CDMA version from qtwrk.
So far, these are the only two phones that we could find running the OS, which is reportedly only 3 weeks old. It can be expected to start making its way around the forums as people start warming up to the idea. In 6 months we could all be saying that development is not truly active until there’s CM, MIUI and DXOS are present.
If you have a Samsung Nexus S and want to check it out, or if you just wanna see what all the fuss is about, then you can head on over to the GSM Samsung Nexus S thread found here and the CDMA Samsung Nexus S thread found here. Inside these threads you’ll find download links, discussions, installation instructions, the all-important screen shots and additional information about this potentially awesome new Android-based OS. As per the norm, these ROMs are still in beta so exercise the usual caution when flashing (making a nandroid backup, etc).

Hello all,
pls advise in case someone has automatic brightness issue on stable release
Seems that it is not adjusting brightness automatically, unless in direct sunlight.
in the dark environment, it keeps the latest brightness settings when switched to auto mode.
Thanks
I flashed CM7.2 and it's great but the battery...So i started looking for kernel and I found thishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1489470
Happy new kernel weeee!!
The worst think is that the all roms now are ICS.It's good to have GB back online. And it's doesn't matter if we won't get JB any way

Also Note 10.1 forums are going to be added next week.
Isn't there a Galaxy Note 10.1 section? This is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 section. Two different tablets.

No not yet til next week I spoke with svetius and he said next week they are adding one. I am thinking it has to do with the 15th most likely being the official release of it and not just the europe one and black version
Let us be very clear, this is absolutely the wrong place for this thread - this is the Tab 10.1 section, not the Note 10.1 section, they are different devices.
If your device doesn't have a section yet, you don't just pick one you like the look of, you use the Android General section.
However, in this case, as there will be a proper Note 10.1 section opened soon the thread can stay. I can see little point in moving it just so it can be moved again in a few days.
As for other threads about the Note 10.1, they should be started in the correct place or you should just hold off until the new section has been opened.
Thank you Step666. I was wondering why the OP kept posting Samsung Note 10.1 stuff here when it's a completely different tablet. It was kind of annoying.
Nice, read about this on Engadget, another notch.
Has anyone tried just flashing SuperSU in recovery?
Many of Samsung's ICS recoveries seem to happily flash stuff that is signed with testkeys - it was confirmed recent I9100 releases seem to happily flash SuperSU directly, no Odin hax or anything like that necessary.
Thanks I'm doin it ASAP! Does anyone know if Amazon will have them?

Is this work on a german device? There no germany codecs included? !??
Europe and german have not the same product code!
I rooted this now I am trying to copy files into from a app I want to use from the HTCnotes http://www.pocketables.com/2012/06/...-notes-app-on-your-rooted-htc-evo-4g-lte.html

I started developing my own touchwiz based rom for galaxy S6 (SM-G920F).
My initial ideas are to remove bloatware, add some cool programs, tweak the interface, modify the kernel, make a cool bootup animation and sound and many more.
There will maybe be an AOSP based Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) ROM in the future but simply it's more cool to work with a TouchWiz based ROM.
Please request any additional ideas and i'll try to put em' in if possible.
Initial release is expected to be on January 20th or 21st and official release is expected to be on February 2nd or 3rd.
This ROM will also be available for Galaxy S5 and maybe S4 and all the mini versions. They're releases are not yet expected, but maybe on summer this year something will come out.
This ROM will be available in 5.0.2 and 5.1.1 versions of Android and maybe later support will be added for 6.0 when released.
Extreme debloat aroma wise is always great.
available for t-mobile variant
Add xposed and root.
Plz add the support for att.

Development starts tomorrow!
So, I've been a little busy with school and stuff so i haven't had time to make a ROM.
But, since the weekend starts tomorrow i'll get to work.
So, the 5.1.1 version will not be released so soon, but the 5.0.2 version will be released on 20th or 21st of January 2016.
But, as soon as the happiness starts, there come the problems... I have a terrible Wi-Fi connection, so upload will take 2 or 3 days or maybe even more. Wait I have an idea, why don't I go to my friend's place and upload there, seems like a good idea.
This will be the BTU (British) firmware so, ask If you want me to make it for different countries and also it will soon arrive for other models like SM-G920A or something, but first for SM-G920F.
That's it for now, see ya in other posts, bye.
I'm sorry...
There will not be released any version soon because I'm too busy with school.
But, there is a chance I could possibly release the first version (1.1) on Tuesday.
That's it for now.
This sounds like BS to me...
yearp
Next week I will be ap able to do some work on my ROM. Maybe I will not be releasing it soon but it should look nice and cool.

Yeah lets discuss. First of all as many people said, N really is what MM should have been. But anyways ,better late than never. Actually the guys at google are not only devs but business men also. They would never bring all the goodies at one go. Why? well you know the obvious. And after all we still have a long way to go from "O" to "Z".
Being a part of Xda, we already have seen everything that N is bringing (via custom roms or Xposed). But from mass and non tech savvy POV there are many significant and welcome changes. Now, the question is when are we going to have N in our device?!
I know, its only a dev preview for nexus group and there would a few betas >then final> then AOSP>CM14> then if we are lucky( and of course sticking to our device) one of our dev would port this to our device. So, is not possible to skip all the steps and start porting directly from the Nexus images. Yup, that sounds absurd( I m not a dev at all). BUT we are XDA, and we like livin on the edge.
Yeah nevertheless we can hope much as our device has one of the very Good support from cm.
What you guys think about it's name would be???
Something like nutella is well in rumours.
For me the Android N is an Revolutioned Android Marshmallow with another utily functions

It's truth. You can find test build in cm13 thread
I'm so hyped for nougat, can't wait for new nightlies
... i really wonder about how so good is the update... if it is kinda have a better kernel and more functions without resting too much resources,,, it is good, but if it is kinda windows vista... omg better stay with 4.4 or 6.0
I wanna have this update, and test it... just hope that it would worth.
BTW, tx for all
You guys are more lucky then me. U have very early access to nougat via cm14. I don't have s4 mini now. And I'm missing my lil champ. I'm currently using galaxy s5 snapdragon which doesn't have nougat ROM yet for public.
I ve bricked s4 mini.
After 2 days arco done first build of cm 14. RIP:crying:
awaiting news
I believe in the potential of 7.0 for my i9192, I'm using a unnoficial build of CM14 and I confess that pleased me, even as a test, as I think better than the Marshmallow. I am waiting anxious that the Devs work with nougat and to bring good roms.
