help to unlock my htc legend sim lock

hello,, i'm new on the forum, i've a new htc legend with vodafone spain (gift program) and would like to unlock it to use htc in italy with an italian vodafone sim card. please help me

I used cellunlock.net to unlock my canadian Virgin Legend, took 50mins to get my code, only CAD$20 (less than USD$20!)
I used crackb50 coupon code to bring it down to CAD$10
Edit: It looks like they only unlock canadian Virgin/Bell Legend and now charge $30 - 50% = CAD$15

Ya it can be done easily via codes.I suggest you to use the code.Because this is the easy method of unlocking compare to others.If you need an unlocking service, simply get it from wickedunlock.com .Here i found the valid service.Through this you can unlock your mobile easily.

WE @ XDA do not have any developers to make software to unlock HTC HD2 4 tmobile.
All of my past phone were from mpx220 to htc touch diamonud2 are unlock at free of cost with the help from XDA. but for HTC HD2 i cannot find any. is there any or any one working on it?

ring TMobile and pay up or try the high street/internet its not free anywhere

I think there's no free sim unlock method, unless you call your provider and ask them the sim unlock number.

thats probably the only thing you cant get for free online. so many sites claim to do it for free but none of them do. however, your carrier might give it to you for free. for example, in canada, Wind Mobile gives it to you if you buy the phone out right, and use it for 3 months with them.

You should PM jocky see if he has a simunlock service for the maple. He has a A+ service here on xda

unlock wildfire for free ?

iv just bought a wildfire and it locked for 3 mobile UK
can i unlock it for free ??
by the way i am not in the UK any more and i need ti unlock it as fast as passable

1-) Root the phone by unrevoked. Just go to their site, http://unrevoked.com. Just do a search on the forums for more info.
2-) create a goldcard. you can do it manually. Search for the manual way as there are many posts on that.
3-) Download a wwe rom for your wildfire.Link to wwe rom http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Buzz...189_signed.exe.
4-) Turn off your phone. Power your phone while holding volume down and power button. This will get you to the bootloader. Pick fast usb and start the RUU on your computer and let it install the new rom on your phone.
Hope this works for you.

I think he meant network unlock, not rooting/flashing.

I too have a new HTC wildfire network locked to Vodafone UK. I need to use another service provider sim in this phone. Can someone help me unlocking this? I know vodafone can unlock this for 20 pounds, but can this be done without spending so much?

Hi there,guys! I tried to unlock my phone with advice put above, step by step...but my phone is still locked....

Debranding is NOT the same as unlocking.

So, guys, as i see, there is no way to unlock wildfire, just by flashing it. I'm right?
Maybe there is some flash to comletly remove the locking state?! (network lock)
Please correct me if i'm wrong.

There is not any free way to unlock Wildfire. You have to get an unlocking code and put it into your phone.

Contact your carrier as they may offer free or cheap unlocking

i just got a 3 branded wildfire, i take it the only to unlock it is via imei number unlock code?
is there any free way of doing it and if not is there any cheap relible place to get it unlocked?

so , there actually isn't any way to get the code for free?? i've heard that some guy unlocked his ZTE Racer for free in like five minutes... why should this be any harder... bloody code! i've spent last two days searching the web for it... and i couldn't find the free one...

but in stores, here in Belgrade, they want 30-35 euros, for a freakin' unlock code! it's nuts!

Ni kod babe nema dzabe , if 30€ is too much for you (obviously it is) then go for 16$ on htcsimunlock web site. If PayPal doesn't work for you you have alternative ways of payment there: CREDIT CARD online now, CREDIT CARD by FAX, CREDIT CARD by PHONE, CHECK/CHEQUE with Proforma Invoice.
There is no public open way of doing unlock for free for HTC Widfire so far and you have two choices: keep it locked on current provider or pay for unlocking.

There is a free method for the Desire. Im saying there problably is a way to do it but noone has found it yet.

For some people it just took a few tries, it can't brick your phone so theres no harm in trying

Again. Call your carrier. Not sure what you are seeing. Also, you can always just try something.

well you could say them that you need to use a nother sim when you travel ... etc etc, about payment it depents one carrier - i hope you can get it for free.

if your carrier doesn't offer to unlock the phone, you can get the unlock code on ebay for about 10 or 15 dollars, in about 10 minutes.

I've messaged to ebay sellers. But one of them said that we can't unlock this phone. Because codes are wrong. So any other suggestion?

Keep trying, some sellers only have version 1 of the unlock database, some have later versions , but they may charge slightly more.

1- call your carrier (did you even try this option?)
2- find an ebay seller who will give it a shot. you stand to lose 15 bucks, but i have heard of success stories.
carrier or someone selling; there really aren't other options.
