SMS's go to SIM card and re-appear - Desire HD General

I haven't found the way out yet so I'm asking for some help.
Whenever I receive an SMS alert from my home Alarm (only), it is stored in SIM card instead of phone and as a result, even though I delete them, at restart they re-appear.
I use GoSMS by the way and the only thing I did on that contact was to try and set individual alert for that number and then I removed that setting. I don't know if that messed anything but eversince, I uninstalled completely GoSMS and re-installed but still, all messages from my Alarm go to SIM card.
The only way to remove them is to enter the stock messaging application, select to view messages dtored in card and there I see all those messages only. I delete them from there and they are gone.
How can I ask my phone to store messages from my alarm in the same location as with other messages?

Phonebook problem on Xda2

I've just bought myself a shiney new Xda2, but when I put in my SIM card, I cannot access my phonebook & sms messages stored on it. Strangely though, when a number in the phonebook calls me, the Xda2 manages to access my phonebook & tells me who is calling. Any clues on how I can recover my phonebook & text messages?
use the sim manger not sure if it works havent got any numbers on my sim card but its there
Yes, use sim manager, then click and hold stylus over required number and choose save to contacts, if you want them all saved to contacts then choose select all then save to contacts. I have no idea about the sms messages.
Thanks for the assistance. ^_^ I can get by without the text messages. I believe they were stored on my old phone itself, rather than the SIM card, so no transferring them. :/

No Vibrate on incoming text messages

I was screwing around in HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Inbox/Svc trying to delete my outlook account, and when i deleted the folder i noticed that my phone stopped vibrating when i received text messages or emails.
I have since updated the ROM from the HTC website and the outlook account has come back, but i'm still not getting any vibration on messages.
Does anyone know how i can get it to vibrate again?
And i'm still looking for a way to remove the outlook safely - any ideas?
thanks
i know this is simple but is worth a shot if you havent already;
check sounds and notifications (in settings)
check in the notifications tab using drop down menu
Yeah - i have vibrate checked there. it totally sucks because i have to keep looking at my phone to tell if i have a new message
Try installing third party apps like phone alarm and use their profile settings to set vibrate - see if that works.

Removing Duplicated Text Messages

I was backing up and restoring SMS with SMS Backup & Restore and I've managed to dupliacte all my text messages.
Of the incoming messages, 1 has a little SD card looking icon next to it. Does that mean it's stored on the SIM or something? All outgoing show no icons, but are there twice.
I've been through the smaller threads and just remove the second copy, but I have three thread with over 100 text's, does anyone know of an app that will look for duplicated text's and remove one for me?
If the duplicate is on the SIM, can I wipe just SIM SMS's?
You can run a backup again, then delete all messages from the phone and then restore with the duplicate check ON, that should sort it out.
Okay, it's removed duplicates, but it's left the ones with the little icon, what does the icon mean?

[Q] sms problem at 3.14 orijinal rom

i download 3.14 orijinal "World Wide English (WWE) 3.14.405.2" from here and install. then i restore my contacts and sms with PPCPimBackup. After it i recognize that i have a sms problem. There is always 5 blank sms in my preview sms box (5/25) , and i can not delete them. so the new sms always come to 6/25. and everytime i have to pass 5 blank one to see the new one
at all messages part, in both mode( clsc or convrstn), everything seems ok, no blank ones.
i tried to delete all of the sms from device, but still the 5 blank ones remained.
Does anyone had the same prob? and does anyone knows the solution?
please help me. thanks.
The problem may be SMS stored on the SIM card. It has been reported that sometimes after flashing, with the SIM Card in, that soem blank SMS appear on the SIM Card.
To check, go to Messages - Conversation Mode (All Messages -> Menu -> Settings ->Conversation Mode.
These 5 SMS maybe grouped together, but the group(s) for these 5 should all have a SIM icon on the right-hand side.
If you touch and stay on the SIM icon you should get an option to copy to phone. Then go back to Traditional Mode and delete the 5 SMS. If it doesn't copy or delete, then take the SIM card out and put in an dumbphone and delete the SMSs.

Nexus 4 sms saving into sim card.

Hello there,
I am facing a strange issue in my nexus 4. Its related to SMS that i receive. Issue is all the message i receive gets save in internal memory, but messages from one particular contact is getting saved in SIM MEMORY every time, which is eating up sim memory and once SIM memory is full i phone asks me to delete sim message to recieve another message. And ITS HAPPENING WITH ONLY ONE CONTACT NOT WITH ALL CONTACTS IN MY PHONEBOOK.
Kindly help. Waiting for suggestions.
Thanks
Have you looked in the settings of the messaging app? There's an option to Manage SIM card messages under Text (SMS) messages.
Yes that setting only shows the SMS present in SIM. So whenever i receive any SMS from that contact it goes to SIM and I go to MANAGE SIM CARD MESSAGE setting and delete all the SMS. And again if I receive SMS from contact it goes and stors again in SIM.
I even deleted all SMS and even that contact and its call history, but again its getting saved in SIM for that particular contact. For rest its storing in internal memory.
