I have an idea...

you have to re-install adeo... download the full rom not the update... reinstall it and it will be fixed. i think its a problem with istalligh the gingerbread status and then going back to stock

After flash/root power button/flash mode stopped working

I just flashed my X10i with 24 firmware. After this my power button stopped working. The phone started showing the menu you get when pressing the power button (without me pressing it) and because of that i turned off the phone. Since that reboot the power button never worked again. I re flashed via SE updater (which installed FW .26 btw) with factory defaults. = Not working. I downgraded with root script to .16 = still not working. This is starting to look like a hardware failure but I'm curious if other people have had the same problem.
Anyone?
Uh.. i thought getting into flash mode is to plug in the microUSB while holding the back button? Has nothing to do with power button.. no?

Problem after updating to froyo 2.2

Hey guys, my htc sense won't launch after i update my HTC Wildfire to Froyo 2.2..
I was using stock rom for 2.1.. anyone knows how to solve this problem? :O
Try a factory reset.
Turn the power off. If your HTC Wildfire is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
Hold the Volume Down button
Press and release the Power button
You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
Press and release the Power button
Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO
If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Wildfire.
Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

try to connect you phoen to your computer to check if it is still on?
I think I have encountered that error before too, was using the latest nightly 54. Even if you press the power button nothing happens..
I held down the power button for maybe like 20-30 secs or so and then it would restart again, but then I'd get a bootloop and to fix that bootloop I had to restore an old nandroid

Omg thank you so much! I did as you said and it restarted (without loop)
No problem! I wonder why mine goes into a bootloop, but whatever. Glad it worked for you though!

[HELP SOFTWARE] Volume down stucked

Hey guys,
I have a Galaxy S4 LTE (GT-I9505) and I'm currently at the official 4.4.2 (XXUFN88).
Yesterday I was listening to music and my volume started to go down by itself. I has annoyed me but ok. Today, at the morning, I've noticed that my volume down button wasn't working. So I restarted my phone. So the phone went to the recovery screen. Volume up to flash a rom or down to cancel. I tried so hard but none of the options were available.
After a few tries I succeed to enter in safe mode by turning on my mobile with the volume up pressed. At the safe mode I noticed that the volume up was normally working.
I thought that it could be a hardware issue. Then I head to a place to have this fixed. But after opening the phone we noticed that everything was alright. The technical assistance told me that the problem was at the software. Ok, I came home to reset the s4.
I did a factory reset through safe mode but the problem is still here. Now I'm planning to reflash the rom with Odin, but since I can't choose 'continue' at the recovery screen I don't know what to do.
Please help me. Thanks in advance.

[ATUALIZATION] Hey guys. I had no answer but here I am again.
I'm trying so hard to fix this problem. Now I'm pretty sure that my problem is software related. Just because when I turn on my phone it goes automatically to download mode (and i should been pressing power volume down and menu for that). And if i press volume up it goes to safe mode (but for that i should been pressing volume down and power insted).
Do somebody know how can I accept the option "CONTINUE" at the download screen with volume buttons unresponsive? I do really want to reflash the ROM and check if it works.

No. When it reaches the Download screen any buttons work.
See, I found another guy with the same problem. Another evidence that it's software related: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2678489

Update 2.0.2 killing opened apps disappear

With 2.0.2 I can see all open apps by pressing square button. But I have to close 1 by 1. With 2.0 and 2.0.1 I could close all in 1 time by pressing cross button... Any solutions because with 4 gb ram the phone keeps a lot of open apps in memory.
But isn't that the point, keep apps in ram so it helps performance, drop them when more ram is needed. I would have the ram full all the time as long as it performs perfectly.

Enable google app & you could see a cross button
me too. same concern. Google ia enabled already on app managemnt

1. Power down the OnePlus
2. Hold the power down button until Android starts to boot up
3. As soon as Android starts booting up let go of the power button
4. Then immediately start holding both the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons
5. Continue holding both Volume buttons until it boots into the OS
Once it fully boots up just reboot the phone as normal. No need to do anything else.
It worked thanks a lot!
Nice one.
Didn't work for me
I rebooted into Safe Mode but the close all recent app option still doesn't appear. I have the Google app uninstalled, do I need to install it for this option to show up?
Yeah I would try that
no luck yet
Installed Google app, restarted in Safe Mode and still no close recent apps option.

I have already booted in Safe Mode and rebooted the device. Still doesn't work.
Maybe try and reflash the OS and see if that fixes it.
