HTC Streaming Media on F1 - neoTouch S200 General

I would like to use HTC Streaming Media Player on the Acer F1.
All cab's I found so far don't run.
I think the version from the HTC Hd2 should run (same prozessor, same resolution) but I could not find anywhere a cab to download.
Can anyone help me ?

in a similar matter.
Has anyone ever gotten that Acer Streaming Media app working?

querys good
querys good

The Acer Streaming Media App works quite well on my S200. My problem with this app is that it doesn't fill the whole screen in landscape mode.
I thought, the HTC Streaming Media Player from the HD2 would do this, but I haven't found it's cab so far, so i couldn't try.

VLC for PDAs? To receive TV-Streams?

Hi,
I am used to receive TV Transport or Program Streams via ethernet or WiFi from every computer in my home from my satellite receiver.
Has anyone here heard of a solution for pdas?
OK, OK vncview via a WinDOOFs-computer would do - but...
Any idea?
THX in advance

tcpmp can play webstreams, it can open some files which have urls hashed, check out the programfeatures for which ones exactly. I've played a couple of webstream in the past with it.
wouldn't mind seeing a ppc version of vlc though. Nice to see some competition.
How about winmediaencoder(PC) + winmediaplayer(PPC)
Videolan is better you can find it on www.videolan.org
Note: for windows media encoder you will have to have a propper hardware for doing brodcast.

Hi,
It seems that I am pretty stupid. I couldn't manage to get vlc working BUT Pocket Streamer Pro work without problems from the start.
I was thinking that the hardware of my S100 couldn't support vlc because the video stream started but stopped after a few seconds but if it work with Pocket Streamer Pro, I don't know.
Some advice please ?
Thanks

mms files playing with media player on HD

Hi,
I have a problem when I try to play a mms file with my HD.
I get the fault message server is busy or something like that.
I love to play the radio station "beat fm" on my mobile phone.
The mms Adresse is: mms://64.225.157.204/beat
It works on my Touch Cruise very well but on HD with fault.
I already compared the settings but couldn`t find a difference.
Are there probably some codecs missing?
Anybody has an idea???
Thanks rodgauman
mms:// windows media player
Thanks for the hundred answers
In the meantime I use the Core Player, he does it right!

plays perfect with mediaplayer, without tweaking
BTW nobody here is obliged to answer
Why on yours not on mine??????????

Poor CorePlayer (MyPlayer streaming) Performance

I have a T-Mobile TP2 and have installed MyPlayer (pocket TV streaming program). I am able to use the MyPlayer aspect of the program in which it provides all of the feeds/streams to the TV broadcasts, but when MyPlayer redirects me to CorePlayer for the stream it is always choppy.
I have CorePlayer version 1.3.5 and had attempted to fix this by reducing/ increasing the video/audio buffer, using DirectDraw instead of QTV mode, and many other options. Has anyone had luck in having CorePlayer use the streams from MyPlayer? It has hundreds of channels but are pretty much useless when it is this choppy. I notice also when I disable sound completely the stuttering goes away, but that is pretty useless as well
Have you tried using the onboard streaming media player instead?
Good idea, I thought that Coreplayer was required for this, and it is for some of the channels, but not for the majority of them. I used Windows media player instead an it no longer stutters, but picture quality wise it does not quite look as good.
Another question here, does anyone know where the HTC brander player is located in the file directory? The same one used for the HTC Album. I hear that it works really well, but I cant find it. Thanks again!

RSS Hub / Streaming Meadia Player

Anyone know if the HTC RSS Hub will work on the TMO TP2. The HTC Streaming Media cab I found didnt. It seems that TMO has stripped these useful apps from the TP2.
Also does anyone know if m4v files can be streamed as in podcasting? I am having a heck of a time finding a player that will work for this. So far Pocket Player is all I can find because TCMCP doesnt work on my TP2. I am wondering if it is just the files cant be streamed but I cannot get a definitive answer.
