Please help me

I Have HTC Touch HD and i wanna add my city to the weather plug in
the problem is i downloaded ur versions of weather editor but it did not work because it said i have to update my microsoft net compact framework!!!
well i downloaded the last version of framework which is 3.5 and when i tried to install it it told me can not install because u have a newer version on ur device
what shall i do to solve this issue?!!!!!!!!

What version of weather editor did you download?
Did you install Net 3.5 to your PC first?

HD2 and barcodezilla2 lite?

Has anyone managed to get barcodezilla lite working on their hd2? Every time i adjust the quality/resolution settings it crashes and i havent had one successful id of a barcode yet!
If anyone has it working do you have any tips?

A colleague got his HD2 yesterday (was jealous of mine ) and installed it on his. We tested it on some barcodes around the office and it worked like a charm. So the answer to your first question is yes!

It doesn't crash for me at all, but I've not yet had a succesful scan of a barcode.

I thought winsql mobile was only required for the full version and not the lite? That was the reason behind me installing the lite version

On the post the developer says:
Published a "Lite" version which doesn't need SQL Compact 3.5
But with this version you have to be online to be able to recognize products (no persistance) and you cannot add / edit and upload new items.
So if you dont get a hit with the lite version, had you a internet connection at the time

Then you can download Layar 3.0 or Barcode from the market.

did layar work, boot up ? willing to try but without root access and fully hacked legend not so much. Also will the asia radio conflict with european radio ?

This ROM works perfectly!
You don't need root!
At this moment it is running on my legend and it works and I can find more apps then with original ROM.
Layar works perfectly too!

I'm running on a stock ASIA rom as well as below :

is this the same as this ROM? I can find layar and install it from the market. However no paid apps can be found.

If you want barcode scanner you can get the APK from: androidfreeware.org.
And you can download the working layar apk for the htc legend from: w w w . xs4all.nl/~edaudey/Layar.apk

It looks like this issue is finally getting solved. HTC has released a statement that a Over the Air update is rolling out in the next coming weeks for the legend :

Seems like the asian marked ROM never had the problem anyway

Are the the other bugs mentioned in other threads also fixed in this rom?
Otherwise I don't think it's worth the effort.

OTA update
I just installed an OTA update on my Legend, and now missing apps are showing up

For those waiting patiently, I didn't get OTA yet but when I did a manual check for updates it gave the option, downloaded, installed and can now find barcode scanner etc

The market seems incomplete, I cant find anything!! I only found a solution for android 1.6/2.1 to display all the apps.

How to install NAVIGON 3.5.0 and above on HTC Desire?

Hello guys i need help, i want to install navigon on my desire it's the only NAV that i like actually but i dunno how....
I have an HTC Desire with MIUI XJ 1.3.18
I can only install the old free 2.6.1
But for new maps i need at least 3.5.0 but when i install and launch it an error message appears, somethign like: "This software is made for different operators/terminals you cannot use it"...
So, is there a way to install navigon 3.5.0 and above on HTC Desire?
I followed some guides where they suggest to install first the 2.6.1 then edit the version.xml file and then install the 3.5.0 using fresh to download files etc... but i never solved the problem with any guide...
Does anyone have a solution here?

I'm not sure for Navigon as I'm using iGO.
I just installed the apk for HTC Desire. Copied over the Australia Maps to the iGo folder and it works.
