Then you can download Layar 3.0 or Barcode from the market.

did layar work, boot up ? willing to try but without root access and fully hacked legend not so much. Also will the asia radio conflict with european radio ?

This ROM works perfectly!
You don't need root!
At this moment it is running on my legend and it works and I can find more apps then with original ROM.
Layar works perfectly too!

is this the same as this ROM? I can find layar and install it from the market. However no paid apps can be found.

If you want barcode scanner you can get the APK from: androidfreeware.org.
And you can download the working layar apk for the htc legend from: w w w . xs4all.nl/~edaudey/Layar.apk

It looks like this issue is finally getting solved. HTC has released a statement that a Over the Air update is rolling out in the next coming weeks for the legend :

Seems like the asian marked ROM never had the problem anyway

Are the the other bugs mentioned in other threads also fixed in this rom?
Otherwise I don't think it's worth the effort.

OTA update
I just installed an OTA update on my Legend, and now missing apps are showing up

For those waiting patiently, I didn't get OTA yet but when I did a manual check for updates it gave the option, downloaded, installed and can now find barcode scanner etc

im haveing problem with market download. it tell me that its my apps download it but its not in my phone...

read the thread you linked:
1) either use version 3.3 (it is fixed there).
2) IF you still have market download problem which should not happen in v3.2, try to use the fix_permission in ROM manager and reboot.

Navigon 3.5.4 update available in the market

Everyone who uses Navigon, there is an update in the marked useable with Oxygen 2.01 and all Gingerbreads.

Hello guys i need help, i want to install navigon on my desire it's the only NAV that i like actually but i dunno how....
I have an HTC Desire with MIUI XJ 1.3.18
I can only install the old free 2.6.1
But for new maps i need at least 3.5.0 but when i install and launch it an error message appears, somethign like: "This software is made for different operators/terminals you cannot use it"...
So, is there a way to install navigon 3.5.0 and above on HTC Desire?
I followed some guides where they suggest to install first the 2.6.1 then edit the version.xml file and then install the 3.5.0 using fresh to download files etc... but i never solved the problem with any guide...
Does anyone have a solution here?

Try reading this thread and the others linked from it

if you don't have the market application in you mobile, you can search the andoid market apk files on your web browser, then download and install it. current version should be 2.3.6
remember go to settings->applications, then check "unknown applications"
if you have the market application but can't find some apps (e.g. paid apps), you should install an app called "MarketEnabler".

Could anyone upload HyperDroid v5.3.0 for cLK or tell me, where I can download it, please?
I can't find it anywhere, there is only newer v5.5.0 version on xda, however it doesn't work properly on my HD2.
The full filename was:

I had no luck in finding it at XDA or on Androidmeda's download repository...Did find a download link at a chinese website though:

u need to view it in Google Chrome to translate the page.but the catch is it requires you to register to download.Your call. But i recommend that you should get to the root of the problem on why the latest build is not booting. Im sure its easier than hunting for the older build. What problem are you exactly facing?.Maybe i can help you with it?

I have successfully installed 5.5.0, but it was just slower than 5.3.0 - the app drawer animation wasn't smooth.
