Let me ask you this. What is not working on that rom?

The only thing that I have found so far is 4g. I tried cm6 and had tons of problems.none of which I have had in this one.

Not sure if it is or not but I can tell you it runs 10 times smoother....
WiFi is buggy when trying to connect to a secured network, 4G does not work, battery is the same as every ROM, if you use all the features and apps that came with the phone it Sucks, They all Suck.

I've been using this ROM for a few days, I'd tried the CM Nightly builds and I always come back to Decks ROM. None of them are 100% but they both are solid, I just prefer Decks, I also prefer a Sense ROM.
the battery on Deck's is def better
and it's way less buggy. I know CM6 is just a nightly but if you're looking for a Froyo rom that has camera available I recommend Deck's
the biggest bug is that the LED does not work at all. Also I am getting awful scores in quadrant with it.
pick your poison I guess
I am still having WiFi problems on secured networks.

anyone else tried this ROM yet??? Feedback??
Well, on that note... Baked Pastries isn't th at bad... It seems to have a lot of things going for it as well...
I used both cm6 nightly and Deck. I lean towards Deck for the sense. Both are great though. Deck is an excellent chef coming over from windows mobile. He is top notch.

ITs FROyO!!!!!!!! lol
this should not be posted here. post in q and a.
and do some more reading because many of those things work.
and how about making your phone 3 to 5 times faster!!!
use the search button to the top right
It's much faster for one and more refined than earlier builds. That last past is much more apparent in aosp builds then with sense. And there is WiFi tether. You just have to use the latest apk. And just an FYI, prepare to ne flamed by someone. This type of post belongs in q&a.

so WiFi Tethering is working on your ROM? if so that is great to hear.
I going to go read your thread and try to get some confirmation of this.
You really really can tell the phone is less sluggish. Video-taking is much improved because of this. The speed of which i can snap photos of funny **** my kids are doing is so important to me. They can be doing funny things for half a second and can't stand any lag.
The signal seems improved to me in my area with the new radio flash. so thats good
The phone is just loads better at what it is supposed to do.

Ya...Try one of the Kernels floatin around to speed things up
I just flashed BakedSnack's rom (Thank you kind sir) and it's scary fast. 47 MFLOPS compared to 7 on 2.1. I just tested the wifi-tethering and it worked seamlessly. I also don't have the FPS capped situation. I'm averaging around 50 at the moment.

I was just about to say the same.
I think the Froyo update was over-hyped. I haven't noticed any significant increase in speed or battery life, same 4G/3G performance, and Hulu doesn't work.
flashed all this morning when I woke up & this is the smoothest my evos been since I got it. Very happy with these builds, am I the only one who is completely happy with this and doesnt care about anything else besides the
copy/paste function

hahhaa
im loving flashing the nightly and seeing kinks worked out.
everyone is using the cyan power up with your CM6 nightly too ... right?
Still on basic CM RC1. Maybe I will give that setup a shot. Sounds like you are pretty happy, haha.

Actually no I am not. I don't like any extra apps added etc so I use the galaxy beta theme for cm6
I'm still on RC1. I got HORRIBLE battery life with the 731 and 801 nightlies, so I just went back.
Can you please provide a link? I'd love to try this as well.
BTW, are you using ROM manager to get the latest CM6 nightlies?

No, CM6 doesn't have it yet
haha I got good response here. okay I know fletch covered the cyan power up but here let me link and respond to everyone else in one big post.
first off: no i dont get greatt battery life unless I use JuiceDefender, then I get bogus hours, it lasts forever, umm to be honest, my numbers are pathetic because Im literally on my phone allllll day long, at work, when I get more than 8-10 hours from it I'm happy because im heavily using the browser and sending hundreds of texts too. okay. on...
Cyan Power Up 5.0 is a must for cyanogen users IMO, you can find all the updates and changelog for it on its thread here:
