Yeah, touch screen is no longer responsive. No physical damages or falls...no water damage. Just curious, why do you suppose? Buttons work fine.
Does the display have a ghosting effect when it goes into standby?
No ghosting...just no response

hi
As soon as i make a phone call my screen goes off, now on my iphone it used to do this only when the light sensor was covered. to bringthe screen back on I have to press one of the black buttons in the bottom of the phone, is this a fault?
I had this problem after fitting a screen protector. removing it solved the issue for me.
The genuine HTC Screen protectors have 2 holes in for the sensors. I can confirm this does not affect the screen when making a call.
Are you using a screen protector which doesn't have a hole for the proximity sensor etc?
It may be it can't function right as it maybe seeing the protector as something close to the sensor, hence why the screen goes off.
I have a Vidocq screen protection and the phone wake up again when I finish the call...
Hello.
Anyone noticed this thing? When going outside in winter [at low temperatures] I noticed the touchscreen doesn't react properly, it is like pressing random on screen rather than where I press.
I have one of those screen protectors on it.
In normal "room temperature" works perfectly.
Maybe the screen protector reacts on temperature change and puts some pressure on screen?
Should I worry?
Should I just avoid using it in low temperatures?
Thanks.
My n1 dropped on his screen and got a nasty cracks all over, but the phone still works as well as the touch.
However, after 3 days of the incident, when the phone goes standby it doesn't wake up again, only the capacitive button light up.
What can I do about it? Is it fixable? Can I fix it myself?
Hi,
Sliding out keyboard causes pressure marks on screen (attached video). Is it dangerous? I noticed this some time after getting back my phone from the waranty service, they replaced front panel and lcd flex. Can it be reason of this issue?

The max damage you can cause to your device is, in my opinion, some dead pixels, but no, this is not the regular behavior of the MS2 slider keyboard
Hi,
I recently noticed that with my Galaxy S5 set to touch sensitivity mode it can sense touches from my finger even when I'm not actually touching the screen. This isn't a problem or anything, I love the option and use it all the time with gloves, but I'm just curious about how it actually works. From my limited knowledge about capacitive touchscreens it really makes no sense to detect touches when no physical connection is made, but it works in practice so I'm totally confused.
Thanks in advance!
Small electrical charge over the digitizer on the screen, your finger breaks the charge and the phone knows where, increasing the charge over the digitizer allows you to break that charge before actually touching the screen
That's how I understand it anyway, might not be 100% accurate
